i just purchased this theme, and I’m not getting a full settings menu, however, when I try to open the file for settings, it can’t open for me to copy and paste

What is the proper size image for the product image, my images keep showing up like waterfall image (several in one box) Should I resize all the images or is theri something easier that can be done. Never had this issue with any other shopify theme

It’s 240px – 240px http://imm.io/gzTW

I just installed this theme in my shopify account and when I go under theme settings every thing is missing, all I have is Additional Layouts Customer Area Layout (this has a drop down box for default and custom)

nothing else shows up, can’t change anything. any help would be appreciated

Ok, so not to confused anyone… I didn’t realize that the navigation area was an image and controlled by another setting – my bad. All is well, awesome template. I do wish though that there was a “continue shopping” option in the cart view area. There is one if someone views the cart and there are no items, but as soon as you put an item in the cart there is no option given to continue shopping…. That is the only thing that I “wish” this template had.

Well, maybe in future.

I went ahead and just reinstalled the original version again because I’m on a time crunch. I still would like to know how to fix that if it happens again in the future because reinstalling means you have to replace the 2 settings files because shopify corrupts them so you can access the theme settings, which isn’t really a big deal, just annoying after the first couple times. Thanks again, really diggin this theme :-)

I changed the color of the button background and now it won’t update in the navigation bar area when I try to put it back to the original color or any other color. It worked the first time, but now it appears “stuck”.

Is there a way to fix this?

Thanks, and I love the theme ;-)

Hi,

Is there a way to get rid of the picture frame in product information?

Thanks!

It’s here:
.imagecol img { border:1px solid #cccccc; }

Thanks for the fast response!

Hi, I have a couple questions on the Dropdown menu:

How can I change the dropdown menu color? And, is it possible to use with custom background?

Thanks!

This is inside following selector:
#categories ul, #categories ul ul {  background-image:url("bg-transparent.png"); }
Replace
background-image:url("bg-transparent.png");
for something like that:
background:#aaaaaa;

Hi,

I bought this template for shopify (which is great by the way. Clean and simple), and Im trying to customize a few things. I must say I know very little of html and stuff, and have been learning the hard way. I’m trying to find the way to change the background settings. The background is fixed by default, and I’d like to have it scroll with content. I’ve looked in theme.liquid but can’t find the line where the backgorund is. I’d much appreciatte your help.

Thanks!

.....

OK found it in stylesheet.css.liquid

Hi

Open stylesheet.css and remove background-attachment:fixed; from body selector.

Hello, I just purchased this item and I am already having problems. I am getting an error at the bottom of the page:

Liquid error: Could not find asset snippets/.liquid Liquid error: Could not find asset snippets/.liquid Liquid error: Could not find asset snippets/.liquid Liquid error: Could not find asset snippets/.liquid Liquid error: Could not find asset snippets/.liquid Liquid error: Could not find asset snippets/.liquid

All I did was try to change the logo and the page became distorted, giving me this error message at the bottom of the page.

Hello

Does you settings panel looks like this: http://vanity-shop.myshopify.com/pages/theme-settings If not, please take a loot at this FAQ : http://themeforest.net/item/vanity-shop/faq/308910

Figured it out, just copy and pasted the code from the settings files into the onine editor!

Hi there.

I am only seeing the “General Settings” in my theme settings. Is this a known problem? Happen to know how to get all of the options?

Thanks!

Hi

There is something wrong with shopify platform’s installer, anyway here is a solution: http://themeforest.net/item/vanity-shop/faq/308910

Fixed it I think, don’t worry!

Hi, I can’t seem to get the drop down boxes to work properly.

When I add to category it only gives me one at a time. i.e I want several items to appear in the drop down box with sub-categories on each one. It’s probably glaringly obvious but I can’t seem to find out why.

Thanks!

Thanks Diabolique, Now we buy “Phantom Shop” for OpenCart. I hope if I fail to cope with the Cyrillic alphabet him to help me ;)

Yeah sure, here is a tutorial how to change cufon font: http://themeforest.net/item/phantom-shop/faq/381434

I made ??a mistake, I was looking template for OpenCart:) I saw that it has the same template for OpenCart … my question remains the same, this template supports a layout? And one more question, I saw that there is a menu template “blog” and you can OpenCart to put such a menu? For me it is important to be there so I can write news, articles, etc.

Myriad Pro font supports Cyrillic. OpenCart doesn’t contain blog section but you can install wordpress in child category and put a static link to your blog into header.tpl or somewhere else.

I want to ask you this template supports Cyrillic? If you maintain will buy it soon;)

Is it possible to remove the price overlay on product list images?

Thank you for this solution. I actually want to remove the price completely but leave the title there. Is that possible?

Did you bought shopify or opencart theme? I don’t see “Purchased” badge, if you are talking about Opencart then please post your question here:

Thank you. I purchased this for Opencart

Hi Diabolique-

Quick issue…I hope. Everything looked great. I changed the product box spacing like you said, everything looked good and then later in the day I noticed that the Blog page doesn’t have a background that fills the page. It works correctly on all the “pages” though. Have you seen this problem before?

Thank you for any help Diabolique-
