For the first question, not sure I understood what you mean, but generally this is not available by default, you may add any customization yourself if you know how to do.
For the second question, you can set your own background image, then it will override the current default background, and for the portfolio, you can remove the hatch effect in the thumbnails hover by custom CSS rule to be inserted in the theme options panel.
Sorry I have some difficulties to explain technic things in english -
By category bloc I mean a category box that you have in a lot of blogs enables you to chose a category directly from the first page of the blog. Something like in your portfolio.
The category block as you called is a sidebar widget, it could be added to the sidebar of the blog page.
Hi is this theme mobile friendly?
It performs Well on mobile devices (you can test this yourself before purchase), but it’s not built specifically for mobile devices and not responsive.
considering purchase. 1. can you change to a dotted pixel overlay on images full screen or change? Also opacity of screen overlay?
2. can you setup homepage to display full width slider and blog under that?

hey, Please take care of the serious problem regarding I.E. 9 nothing works in my site (also for many of your clients) and today i have to launch it…...it is an emergency. Ilook forward for your answer.
Theme is not compatible with IE9 and support don’t . I have a question ignored from a week. Some Blog images don’t show in blog pages and category pages not cached with IE9 .
I just replied to your topic, and need WP login details.
Please understand that you fill your site with a lot of heavy content (videos, images, plugins …) and this will make your site slow and possibly some images will fail to showy up in the first attempt. When I checked the URLs of these images, everything is OK, no wrong CSS applied to hide these images for example, which technically means it’s only a browser failure, and this not a strange issue with IE unfortunately. The best proof on my words that the original demo without any plugins doesn’t occur any problems at all in IE9 .
Some visitors of the demo site complains that it takes time to load, your site is about 4x heavier!

Anyway I’m trying to reveal what is the problem with your site, but the key factor is to use the content/plugins “wisely”.
I encountered the same problem in all other portfolio fullscene found in the support forum, and the same thing happens. Even in the preview happens if you update more than once. the fact that there are many pictures does not mean that the load should not work. IE8 does everything correctly. I will describe the data in pvt, I commend to confidentiality and data. Notify when you are done immediately. however please note that I’ve tried disabling all the plugins and nothing has changed.
I am using theme switcher to deliver the theme Touch Mobile and Tablet 1.1 by 22lines to mobile users. I cannot get the galleries to work correctly. There might be a conflict with pretty photo or TimThumb. I know you probably need more information but let me know if something jumps out at you.

Hey, I’m still waiting for a solution to the above problem. Given the site revolves around displaying images I’d say it’s pretty critical to resolve.
Portfolio, thumbnails are visible, the images upon click-through are not. I’ve followed the documentation to the “T”. Including CHMOD , although wasn’t necessary with my installation. I also added the 1.3 update (any reason why you don’t just update the main download file?)

Hi, you just didn’t set any preview images to be shown 
You just set a featured image, this is OK for showing the thumbnails but you need to set a preview image(s) as man image(s) for every portfolio item.

head-scripts.php / line: 259-260: $bgImgPath = $singularBgImg; $bgImage = pt_get_image_path( $bgImgPath );
I changed to: $bgImgPath = $singularBgImg; $bgImage = $singularBgImg;
and it works fine so far. hope this realy works. hope a bugfix for this problem find its way to FullScene 1.4

I am a bit closer now. so in a MU subsite… when I am editing a post I see background URL is: http://sub.mydomain.com/files/2012/03/venice1.jpgin the sourcecode of the frontpage I see: $.backstretch(”/blogs.dir/5/files/2012/03/venice1.jpg”);
it should be complete URL or at least it should read: ”/wp-content/blogs.dir/5/files/2012/03/venice1.jpg”
the funnything is with the main blog… in the backend and in the front end I have in the same case full urls with http://
so is it a WP bug ? or is it a thing I can change in FullScene scripts ?

hi premitheme, first of all. fantastic theme and work.
but I have some issues with the background images on wordpress MU sites. I dont have a MU network or offer this service, but I am using MU for language and also for units of my company.
so on the main blog uploading and changing the background works perfect.
on an sub blog it don’t work. only if I clone or copy from original blog.
any ideas ?
where in your theme do you store the informations for uploading background ? where are these functions ?
maybe I can exchange it for another background plugin or so.

I’ve been trying to get the portfolio function to work, the thumbnails appear OK, but when you click through you get a broken image link icon. Any clues?
Oh and I have updated to 1.3 if that has any bearing on the matter.
First read the documentation which comes in the downloaded package form info on how to install the theme, set permissions and create content.
