Hello, I am interested in purchasing for a price comparison website but I have few questions concerning data import and display: 1) We can import customized feeds (csv or XML) ? 2) How is the import process (which tool/plugin are you using, e.g. WP All import) ? 3) For example if we have the product ” Camera 123” from 4 affiliate stores, will it create 4 products (posts) ? Another details: if we refresh prices regularly (using WP all import scheduler), the process can be triggered automatically to display the new lowest prices and hide others from catalog? (if you have this part documented somewhere I would be interested to go through).

I have checked demo and cannot find such info 
that’s why I am contacting you. I need to be sure on how things will work at price update because I already had bad surprise with another theme.
So could you please describe how you are going to display only 1 product in catalog (and not the 3 others product with same pid) which will represent the product with lowest price and so that it will be all the time the item with lowest price displayed in catalog after prices refresh ? Do you have developed a script for that ?

One product has multiple stores connected to it with various prices. There are no 4 products with the same pid but 1 product and multiple stores. What you see on the demo are products. If you click on one you’ll be lead to its single page with all available stores and prices for that product.

May I just ask you one more question? I have an API for each store that I want to compare prices. How does it work with your theme? Can I just add the API to the theme and when my client hit SEARCH it will cycle through the APIs looking for prices/stores? I want to do something similar to this site http://www.boardgamesearch.com.au/ but I am unsure about the next steps. (you can search for “monopoly” if you want just as an example). Thanks

The theme is using xml/csv files for import products. You can do that using theme integrated importer or Wp All Import plugin.

Your product is really great. The only disadvantage is that your filters columns in the categories are “static”. I would like to be able to add/change the filter attributes according to which category the visitor is. Do you suggest something for this feature? Thank you.

“That theme has a lot of its own navigation functionality and it’s built-in filtering is all ajax-based. Stripping it out and replacing it with FacetWP would essentially require rebuilding your theme. It’s not worth it.
I’m sorry but FacetWP isn’t the right choice for that theme.”

Ok I will buy, one last question: can the results be displayed by store? So a person will try to find: TREK BIKE Model X… all TREK BIKE Model X will show up divided by store and show price for each, is that correct?

We really have not tested it. The only plugins that we can guarantee will work with our theme are the ones that are included.

have tried to add another comment not sure what happened: so I want to create a very simple price compare site for local bicycle stores (just a search bar, nothing else). I have scrapped data from all of them and I have XML files for each store. Is your theme enough to have my site up and running? Or do I need anything else?

Pre-sale comment: I want to buy your theme however I do not want to register products one by one does not make sense at all. I have lists and lists of csv (or xml) data I scrapped from local shops sites and just want to create a simple price compare site that will check the csv files and point to my clients which store to find which price. I will update my csv files daily. Also, if merchants want to provide me daily their csv files, excellent. About keywords we are not sure what do you mean. For products it is possible but your server must be really strong for that.

is there a demo access or could one set up for a limited period, since I have to test out the theme and not bring me pictures much. Could not you create a user with seperate rights for one day? What types are there to put products apart from XML and Cronjobs. Are there any plugins that can be added to Amazon affilinet, zanox, belboon, adcell interfaces? A demo account would be very helpful with such a topic and as I have increasingly seen here in the forum also desired.

You can import products using wp all import plugin, we made it compatible, so import can be done for almost any service.

Yes you can setup an external (that means that you pull information from another server/stores) affiliate websites. Trough CJ platform, Amazon…or something like that.
But also you can offer possibility to local stores stores to provide you with .xml online and you can list them for some amount of money. In other words when someone visit your website they can compare price of Samsung Galaxy S8 in Berlin stores.
They pay you for advertise your website provide to them.
