There is no popups, popup forms in your builder, right?

You can easily add popups and popup forms (also “exit Modals”) in HTML after you have exported from Variant to HTML, but they cannot be added within Variant Builder.

You will need to assemble the pages in Variant, as we do not provide the .variant files for the demo pages. All of the blocks are available in Variant.

On the page, software 3, you have a few blue vectors/images. What is the source of this? I would like to use some of the vectors in this design range but cannot find the source.

data-modalid only is firing if there is a url hash on reload it wont fire on click. any thoughts on this?

If your desired provider supports embedded HTML forms and an Ajax form submission method then it should be possible to integrate any provider with minor tweaks in scripts.js – however direct dropping of forms from other providers into Variant won’t be supported.

Great – yes sometimes your browser may block the local storage facility which is required by variant. This can be overcome by allowing cookies on the Variant page.

Where can we add a tracking script to all pages without having to do this manually for all pages? We need to add a script to all pages for page tracking and live chat
Hi,
This can be done by adding your tracking script to scripts.js. Since it is referenced on each page, you will be able to include your scripts in that file and it will be run on each page.

Yes you can achieve anything by editing the mail/lib/mail_sender.php file. The current setup is to send an HTML email, but you could tweak some settings to send a plain text version as well. Please refer to the Swiftmailer documentation or open a ticket at http://mediumrare.ticksy.com

This would need to be handled by you in server-side, it can’t be delivered through pure HTML as it needs to be interfaced with your server via PHP to handle the files.

Can I use Aweber with the forms? Or just MailChimp?
MailChimp and Campaign Monitor are supported. Sorry, but Aweber Is not supported by default in Variant or in Stack’s default scripts.
In Variant Builder it seems I can’t set a custom colour for the background of a features element?
I also can’t set custom colours for the links in the navigation?
Also, things like Icons in a features box can’t be colored.
The Variant builder seems really great, it’s a shame that there aren’t many color options.
It would also be good if buttons could easily be added, such as to Large feature blocks.

That’s not something that you can do in Variant, but when your page is exported from Variant to HTML you can edit any of the buttons or backgrounds to add classes that you can then provide CSS rules for in custom.css.

I’ve been using Stack for the past couple of days (after a long break) and it would be super useful if when outputting the html via Variant, the blocks/elements were clearly commented in the html.
It’s great that we can customise the names of the elements/blocks in Variant, but next to useless if that isn’t reflected in the HTML output.

Hi, In the css file is see: “Bootstrap v4.0.0-beta.3” Why does this theme (still) use the beta version?
You can update that to the latest 4.1.1 and you will not break anything. Stack makes use of the grid in Bootstrap mainly, so you’re safe to update it.
