Loving the theme. when I try look at the website on a bigger screen the featured picture have a gap

I’m glad you solved that, Kappa does not have such option but if you understand CSS, you can easily adjust these elements, you should try the Inspect Element tool on the browser such as Chrome or Firefox, it would help you a lot, as always, you can try this CSS snippet to Appearance > Customize > Additional CSS field and you can adjust the font size as you wish.

Hello, I have purchased the KAPPA “gaming Wordpress” theme. I am having a few issues with it. When I add a menu in the navigation bar, the container under it spans to the right. If I scroll a bit, it goes away. But it spans away again after scrolling down. The more menu item I put, the more it goes to the right.
The other thing is, how do I change the color of the Post heading? the heading that you click to see the post. I want it from Black to white.
Do you know any solutions for these?

1. The tags should be shown since it’s WP core feature, however, you can paste this CSS snippet to Appearance > Customize > Additional CSS field to hide it.post-entry .post_tags {

2. It is [Kappa] Aside Posts widget.
3. The featured image’s width must be 700px at least, you can try this CSS snippet to make it center align.post-image {

Hi again – Have an issue with WooCommerce and the theme. In the WooCommerce Product listing page in Admin, we can only set Screen Options to 16 items per page. If we select anything higher than 16 – say 20 – we still only see 16 products, and there’s no pagination to the rest of the pages, either. If we set Screen Options to 10 items per page, we now still see 16 but with pagination to the rest of the pages. If we turn off the Kappa theme and use TwentyNineteen, the problem goes away. On investigating the Kappa theme, we see the loop on the frontend product display/archive template hardcoded to 16. It looks like the Kappa theme settings are affecting the product list table in Admin. Please advice. I can provide a video showing the problem if you want.

I can’t seem to get the Header Image to work at all. I can upload an image, but even after cropping it appears under the social media bar and pushes the header banner down below the social media bar. What am I doing wrong?

I see what you did. The KAPPA logo in the sample is the Header Image. Not sure how useful that is. Is there a way to make the header image fill the whole header area and maybe display the ad banner over the header image?
Those two images haven’t been designed for that but can you draw a sample? no guarantee but I will have a look into it.
Well the problem I am having is that my site name is “Omens & Portents” and my tag line is “Old School Rants and Raves”. Neither Header Image size is large enough to accommodate all of that. I’ve put the logo image in the ad banner area, and it is okay, but not as big as I’d like it. The Header Image area is ridiculously small for something like that.

Do you want to remove the Featured Post widget? if so, You can navigate to Appearance > Widgets and remove the “[Kappa] Featured Posts” widget from the “Featured” sidebar area.

I suggest that you categorize the featured posts into a specific tag, then, you can show these posts by entering the tag slug to the Tags field on the widget panel, see screenshot, this is what I did for my live demo.

Facing a problem with the slider, its perfectly fine when I am visiting the site from a 1080p monitor but when I use a 4k monitor there are black colored gap between the slider images.

I’m trying to improve my page speed and I think your social buttons are causing an issue, I’m not running any others. Just to clarify it isn’t specific to the Kappa theme “social buttons” cause load time issues in general.

Surely, Kappa does not load any facebook assets by default, the facebook icon is just an icon, it does not come from Facebook.
If you embed the Facebook page by using the Custom HTML widget or the 3rd party plugin, these assets might be loaded, however, as my experience, that is normal.
