If you will edit the theme files, I would recommend using a child theme as explained here: https://www.smashingmagazine.com/2016/01/create-customize-wordpress-child-theme/ so that your changes won’t be overwritten when you update Writing
Also, if you let us know what you would like to change, we may include some of the changes as additional features in the next updates plan

I have found a few new bugs. Here is description, please check them:
1. When I create a new blog post the working area is very narrow: https://www.dropbox.com/s/4mc6rxrv8tzcob2/07%20new%20post%20field.png 2. Even when I add a title it’s still narrow and it’s impossible to edit a permalink for the post: https://www.dropbox.com/s/4mc6rxrv8tzcob2/07%20new%20post%20field.png Only when I add a very long paragraph working area becomes wider and only then I can see and edit permalink: https://www.dropbox.com/s/sgno8b3peax60ge/09%20long%20paragraph.png 3. Another issue is adding new blocks I can add a new one only above an existing block: https://www.dropbox.com/s/yrpsd8os0ojjkav/10%20add%20block.png below the block + icon is not appearing: https://www.dropbox.com/s/irv9h99oibgir84/11%20add%20block%202.png 4. Next issue deals with the Cover block when I add new blocks on the Cover, their controls almost invisible: https://www.dropbox.com/s/p4qhav017zh84u6/12%20controls.png https://www.dropbox.com/s/4bzlrorgfg8gd9h/13%20controls%202.png 5. You have fixed almost everything. But 2 issues remains:
1. I still can’t change text on the Cover block to H2 (it moves left and stretch the cover image) but H3, H4 works fine, only H2 title doesn’t work.
2. I still can’t add a new block under the current one only above + icon appearing. Here is a preview:

It seems when you made a working area wider one new issue has appeared: It deals with the Column block. There is a post with a column with 4 rows.

Thank you for your patience, the issues are fixed except for adding block from the bottom. I’m still debugging it but it seems to happen when the last block is a paragraph block, otherwise it appears.

Hi, I have a question. I use the classic-editor to write a blog, and insert a “More” tag in the draft. But it seems the “Continue reading” in this theme doesn’t care where I put the “More” tag. It always show two or three lines in the home page.

1- you can create a menu item that links to incorrect link of the website for the 404 page to appear
