Any news on the Docuhub update from 2 months ago? We would love to use this for in combination with Ghost 3.x/members.

I know it’s been way too long, we had some unforseen issues that held up our update. It’s now been pushed and you will be notified when it’s available to download soon!

Any idea when this will be available to download? It’s been a week and a half. Where is this being held up?

Sorry for the delay jvermaire. But DocuHub v2.0.0 is out now with full support for Ghost v3 (including Members & Subscription support).

We are waiting for the update so we can purchase this theme!

Hey Quicksilver_1, I know you’ve been waiting patiently for this long overdue update. It’s on it’s way to you soon. You will receive an email with the update in the next few days.

Too little, too late. Bought another theme.

Hello im need buy Any news on updating?

Yes, took a while but we’ve pushed the members update and it will be available to download soon!

I’d love to purchase this theme, but I need it to be compatible with Ghost 3.x. Any news on updating?

Yes releasing our Ghost 3 update took much longer than expecting due to unforseen holdups but it’s been submitted and should be available for you soon! Thank you

Is there any way to integrate the running table of content, like on gitbook pages? Here is an example: https://docs.gitbook.com/getting-started/quick-start

Hello,

This feature has been added to DocuHub. You can see an example here:

Sorry for the delay! DocuHub v2.0.0 is out now with full support for Ghost v3 (including Members & Subscription support).

hi there, really like DocuHub. I am looking to create sub-tags or subcategories in the left-hand side menu. For example, with the Demo i would like to create a subcategory of “Getting Started” rather than individuals posts underneath this tag.. is this possible?

Another thing not working is the Sidebar Toggle which is just does not appear on the web page. However the code for it appears in the default.hbs

span class="sidebar-nav-toggle"
a href="javascript:;" class="toggle-sidebar-nav"
class="fas fa-stream"

Hello,

We are currently working on an update to DocuHUb that will address the issues you mentioned. It will be released this week.

Cheers, Eric

Here is an idea for this Ghost theme: a page-level Table of Contents as an option in the config, using tocbot.js or tocify.js .

I have added a dynamic Table of Contents using tocbot.js, as here: https://docuhub.ghost-o-matic.com/the-editor/

Eric—new target date for update? Are you also updating to Ghost 3.2.0 compatibility with Subscriptions?

In addition to missing functionality noted last by davp70, I also get the following errors:

1) .kg-bookmark-publisher CSS class is missing in theme

2) {{error.code}} needs to be replaced with {{error.statuscode}} on error-404.hbs

3) there is also in the browser Console (Chrome) one error showing

Uncaught (in promise) undefined (index):1

Hello,

I purchased this yesterday and it doesn’t include the necessary functionality for the new Members feature. Checked on a Ghost Pro and dropped in the default Lyra theme which worked fine. DocuHub is missing the links for logging in, subscribing and related template pages.

Hey Davp70. Yeah, our Ghost 3 update got held up. It’s been submitted though and you should be getting notified when the new theme with Members feature is ready for download soon.

Has this theme been updated to support Ghost V3? Specifically members and making some Documentation members-only?

Yes! Our theme is compatible with Ghost V3 and the new Members functionality. Thanks :)

Hello ! Is it possible to make it multilingual ?

Absolutely! DocuHub fully supports Ghost’s Multi-lingual feature.

Hello, I’m very new to using Ghost. We have it self-hosted and running on v2.31.1. Here are issues that I’m encountering: https://bit.ly/2Mvooc8

1. Upon installation of docuhub, it’s common that the theme goes missing every day or so with the error 500: The currently active theme “Docuhub” is missing.

2. Search does not work

Separately, I have made some style changes to the theme. With that, how would I go about incorporating the latest updates on the theme?

Thanks for the help in advance! Great theme.

Hello Eric, do you know how soon before I can expect to hear back? I haven’t got a response in a couple of days.

Apologies for the delay, I just replied to your request. Thanks!

I was wondering how to change the order of the Tags and the Posts from alphabetical to a custom order? Thanks for your help.

Hi there,

Unfortunately Ghost does not have a native way to order tags, so the current options are: Alphabetical (the default) or adding numbers (or roman numerals as seen in the demo) to manage the ordering.

In next version of DocuHub we are looking to tackle this limitation by adding a custom sorting option. This will be release later this month.

Cheers, Eric

Thanks Eric, I’ve added roman numerals to the tags and it is ordered correctly. I noticed that when I add roman numbers to the posts under each tag that the posts are in reverse order (1. starts at the bottom), do you know how to reverse this?

Hi there,

Search functionality doesn’t render results belongs to pages. It works only for posts. ghosthunter’s code seems to be searching pages along with posts. https://github.com/jamalneufeld/ghostHunter/blob/8083f3c44da98839203831c1dd3874641cbeff0c/src/ghosthunter.js#L95

Can you check it please?

Hi there,

If I get the post list on tag page with {{get}} helper, infinite-scroll prints the post two times. If I comment-out infinite-scroll, it works fine. Example code is below. I just added get helper to wrap the existing foreach block. What could be the reason of it?

{{#get "posts" filter="tags:{{tag.slug}}" include="authors" order="title asc"}} {{#foreach posts}} <article id="{{id}}" class="post-card"> <a href="{{url}}" class="post-card-link"> <header class="post-card-header"> <h3 class="post-card-title">{{title}}</h3> </header> <div class="post-card-content"> <p>{{excerpt words="33"}}</p> </div> <footer class="post-card-footer post-meta"> {{> "author-list"}} <span class="reading-time">{{t "Updated"}} <time class="post-full-meta-date" datetime="{{date updated_at format="YYYY-MM-DD"}}">{{date updated_at timeago="true"}}</time></span> </footer> </a> </article> {{/foreach}} {{/get}}

Hi there! Could you please submit a request here: http://t2themes.com/#theme-support

Thank you! Eric

Hi there,

I recently purchased this theme, and in the documentation, it says that the sidebar is created by uploading a “Site Cover Photo”. I don’t understand how I can have a navigation like in the theme preview if it is an image?

Can you please clarify how I create the sidebar with links?

Thank you.

Hello,

Thanks so much for purchasing DocuHub!

The sidebar links are created automatically from “Tags” in Ghost. So simply create tags, tag your posts and the sidebar links will be generated. The “Site Cover Photo” simply allows you to add a background image to the sidebar.

Hi,

Dark view customization selection doesn’t seem to be stored in cache or anywhere else. When I go to a different page it shows me light view. Is this an expected behavior?

Hi there,

This bug has been fixed in the latest version of DocuHub (v1.1.0). The user’s dark mode selection will now be persisted,

Cheers, Eric

Is there a way to order the items on the left menu?

Hi there,

Unfortunately Ghost does not have a native way to custom order tags, so the current options are: Alphabetical (the default) or adding numbers (or roman numerals as seen in the demo) to manage the ordering.

In next version of DocuHub we are looking to tackle this limitation by adding a custom sorting option. This will be release later this month.

When I check pagespeed insight for the page https://docuhub.t2themes.com/organising-content-in-ghost/ it shows 42 on mobile. Is this normal? You claim 100 for both mobile and desktop.

Hi mete89!

Thanks so much for purchasing DocuHub.

The page speed is impacted on the demo site due to the additional scripts we load only on the demo for the customizing options found in the menu. Also, enabling Disqus comments impact the page speed on post pages as well. FYI, there are some advanced techniques that you can implement to mitigate this to some extent (https://css-tricks.com/lazy-loading-disqus-comments/).

The 100 page speed advertised was attained by running a clean install of DocuHub without modifications or integrations enabled.

Cheers, Eric

Thanks Eric. I will give it a try.
