Hi,

We tried re-uploading the theme files but it didn’t work! The only think we can think of is to uninstall everything and then re-install, but this will take an age. We were hoping to re-launch the new site on the 1st September. Is there anything else you can think of?

Also, do you know where we could get an order sample button and calculator extension from as this may be quicker?

I have purchased your Vanity Shop Theme and am experiencing a few issues which I am hoping you can help us resolve.

1. When you click ‘register for an account’ A pop-up appears with a separate window. Also, some of the fields don’t have any writing next to them or the drop-down boxes don’t work. Please see the link – http://79.170.44.122/naken.co.uk/index.php?route=account/login

I wanted to change “add to cart” text to “enquire now” and make a link to contact page. I opened to theme/vanityshop/template/product/product.tpl and couldn’t find the (a id=”button-cart” class=”button” Purchase / a) even if I carely read the .tpl file 2 times…As you said in FAQ

This is also the same if a customer wishes to review an item.

I spoke to the author of the mod. Apparently this template alters the files to much and causes too many errors. I was just wondering if you could point me to the area where the sub categories design is, so i can make them slightly larger and with bigger text to make them stand out more. (since it seems adding pictures wont work )

yeah it works fine with the normal template. The mod is for 1.5.4.X for sure im not entirely sure what the author meant but he said i would need to edit the xml file to take into account your different template (probably need to change the offset – the offset is currently set at 22).

What or how do i find out what i need to change it to ?

Sorry to bother you again, i just upgraded to the latest version. However, I can no longer get VQmod to work with the template. I get Parse error: syntax error, unexpected ‘}’ in /home/chaosemp/public_html/vqmod/vqcache/vq2-catalog_view_theme_vanityshop_template_product_category.tpl on line 101. Alternatively, Does any of this template files alter the basic catalogue from opencart? Or does it remain seperate?

On each category, to enter the sub category you have to click the bubble with the sub categories title in it. I was wondering if it was possible to add a picture to the sub category title. to show what was in each sub category. thanks jaymes so on www.Chaos-emporium.co.uk You click the luxury bathroom range, and then i want to replace the “Combed Cotton Range” with a picture and link.

Also, is it possible to add a picture(The one used for the Category) to accompany the subheadings instead of just a plain bubble of text?

i like to make my top menu have drop down menu function but it is not working. is there anything i must change in the style sheet? http://myworld-marketing.myshopify.com The custom menu does not allow dropdown where else the menu allow drop down. i need the custom menu to allow drop down how do i do that?

What code would i use to replace the link to your url ?

Hi, I have managed to configure most of the site now. However, i still cant work out how to change the “Welcome” message. I have made a .Png and put it in the image folder. I attempted to replace the With” ../image/Welcome.png ” but all i get is a little square box and no picture. Any chance you could help ?

Sorry, i wasn’t quite sure how to delete my earlier comment. I was just wondering how i could change the Categories link on my webpage www.chaos-emporium.co.uk from a purple background on the buttons to a black background. I know i need to alter the CSS file but do i use notepad and then re upload it replacing the old one? Secondly, how do i host my own picture to replace the background image ? Can i do it from my server host or ?

For some reason 2 issues have arisen.

1) The front page slideshow has just stopped working? I’ve tried uninstalling and re-installing, checked the image paths etc, to no avail!

2) The ajax checkout has also stopped working? Just no functionality?
