You can manage the menus using the standard WordPress menu management feature (Appearance > Menus) in your wp-admin backend. Please find the original WP help article here: https://codex.wordpress.org/WordPress_Menu_User_Guide

Header links in general are WordPress widgets (again one of the standard WordPress features – Appearance > Widgets). You can find a number of widget areas there, the social media related widgets should be in Header Menu Widgets area.

Related to the Footer, we have taken a slightly different approach in our theme comparing to the standard WordPress widgets method. We have done that to increase the flexibility in terms of possible footer layouts.

If you go to Appearance > Customize > Header and Footer you will find a “Footer Page Slug” field. It holds the slug of the page which serves as a footer (by default its value is Footer). So you should go to Pages panel in wp-admin, locate the page called Footer and edit its contents. The changes will be reflected in the footer throughout the site.

There are two ways. One is to use WP multisite on your side and import each of the demos into a separate site in WP multisite network. Then, you can use clipboard features of Bold Builder to copy the pages from one demo to another without modifying existing settings.

The other is to use btextract=true query parameter on our demo. If you add ?btextract=true to the end of the url of each static page on our demo, you will get the interface with the shortcode structure. For example, to get the shortcode structure of

and follow the instructions to create the page on your site with the same structure.

Keep in mind that either way, images will not be imported and you will have to set them up manually, but you will change the images anyway,

How could I have the donation buttons trigger shortcode rather than a link. For example, I need it to trigger the GiveWP modal option.

We have never worked with GiveWP but we guess that the most straightforward way is to use GiveWP shortcodes instead of default button page elements. You can place third party shortcodes by using text element in Bold Builder.

Anyhow, please consult GiveWP documentation and support for instructions on how to implement modal options of GiveWP – we are not able to support third party plugins which do not come packaged with the theme – https://themeforest.net/page/item_support_policy.

Unfortunately, due to the nature of the theme, portfolio grid was never not part of the theme’s functionality. If you take a look at our demos, you will see that portfolio grid is not presented.

Out of the box, you can use classic portfolio archives or you can use third party portfolio plugin if you need the grid specifically. We will see to add the grid in one of the future theme releases.

1. In general, google maps api is not free, but you get a monthly credit from them of 200 USD and if you do not exceed this number, you do not have to pay anything. This amounts to some 40,000 API requests per month. As an alternative, you can use Open Maps API with the theme which is free (the theme supports it out of the box)

2. Yes, you can link to a candidate username, although you need to create api credentials using your account.

3. It is free, you do not need to purchase it.

OpenStreetMap element works the same way the Google Maps one does – except you do not need API key. Try placing OpenStreetMap element on the page and then add location to it by clicking the + icon on OpenStreetElement Toolbar.

On the other hand, you can easily link the featured button to a third party donation service like PayPal donate button and others. You can aslo link the button to a WooCommerce donation based functionality. So, you have a full freedom of using third party donation solution.

Related to the issue with Customization panel – here is how the Customizer settings generally work

The settings in the Appearance > Customize panel are global, meaning that they influence every page on the site by default.

On the other hand, you have an option to override these settings on per page basis. If you take a look at the bottom of the page edit form, you will notice Override Global Setting part in Settings Section – here you can override global settings for every page.

You probably have a logo and colors related overrides set on the home page and it caused the problem. Try removing logo and color related overrides on pages with issues.

Related to responsiveness of background images, there is no silver bullet solutions to this – can you please send us the url of the page with the issue so we can suggest specific solution.

Neither of these things are possible out of the box – but you can achieve them using few lines of custom CSS code – the section background image can be repositioned based on the screen width or even completely replaced, and the donate button can get position: fixed also based on screen width.
