I built a product page in Elementor, in a product with a few variations it works well and adds to the basket. And when I try a product with a lot of variations I click on cart icon to add the product to my cart, it starts to loading with the circle animation in a loop. He does not add it to the basket, and gets stuck.

Hi, With update 6.1 only some of Shop/product styles affect on settings/styles and colors/SHOP BUTTONS COLOR. With some of Shop/product styles this change color with primary color overall like in underline in menu on hover but also in shop buttons color. This have to be fixed.

In this case, you need to wait for the SmartSlider update. As we can see, developers have confirmed that they are going to fix this in their new update.
We have fixed this code and now it should work well.
As for the menu color, try to use the following custom CSS code

Thanks for your support, i rectified the issues, as i was deferring js from functions.php, also found that the older version of theme css classes are like “woodmart-” but in newer version it’s changed to “wd-” that’s why my popup was also not working. Now it’s all set and working fine. Thanks

This error seems to be related to some of the installed plugins. Could you please check how it works with some default WordPress themes like TwentyTwenty or WooCommerce Storefront to understand is it our theme issue or not?

The plug-ins were there and all was fine before I done this update. In fairness pointing the issue towards the plug-ins that have always been used and fully up-to-date is not acceptable.
The problem lies with what ever use have changed on the new update that’s conflicting with the current plug-ins that I’ve been using, Surely you don’t expect all the other developers of these plug-ins to alter their code to suit your theme? As well as expect me to reach out to all of the developers in rectifying your incompatibility theme problems.

I’m using Assets Cleanup plugin to unload, defer, or optimize in other way, the files that are being loaded in each page. (I also don’t use the theme’s option to combine the js files. So, I load them all separately so that I have more control over them)
When I check the website with GTMetrix, I see these 2 files are being loaded: loginSidebar.min.js and loginDropdown.min.js
But Assets Cleanup doesn’t show them in the list of the loaded files. My guess is that one of theme’s main js files is internally reading that file and that’s why Asset Cleanup doesn’t list them. (can you please make them separately loaded into the pages, so that we can have more controls over them as well?)

I see you added an option to header’s logo to add width and height values in 6.0. That helps with PageSpeed Insights. Thanks.
Please also add the same option to the Header’s Navigation Menu’s icon. I mean, I use the option “Icon to display in the main menu (or any other menu through the site)” to add icon next to the main menu links: https://ibb.co/ScPSpZPBut the icons don’t have width and height set for them, and adding those values improves PageSpeed Insights score.

Can you please add this for the next update/hotfix? This option improves 2 things:
1. Image elements do not have explicit width and height 2. CLS (Cumulative Layout Shift)
Google is changing some rules and it will be applied in 2 or 3 weeks from now, and CLS is one the keys toward awarding or punishing websites. (we’ve optimized the website a lot to gain a good CLS, but still we get errors in Navigtion Menu and the Cookies Bar. The Navigation Menu items’ CLS issues is mainly caused by the width and height not set for their icons)
Same thing about the product images in the Elementor Widgets (fro example we use the Ajax Products Tabs widget in home page, and although we specifically set the image size for it, but still the width and height attributes are not added to the product images on the grids, and as a result, we don’t get the score for it)
We will review all these elements in our 6.1 update. Sorry, but we don’t have an ETA for this update yet.
We optimized all other images the way to set the height and width attributes for them, but these ones need your attention.
Please consider releasing a hot fix to solve this issue. Google’s update is on it’s way and we are optimizing all the aspects to score the highest.

We will add an ability to use width and height attributes there in our next theme update.
6.1 is released and I can’t find an option anywhere to fix this. The icons/images of the header’s navigation menu still doesn’t have height and width and GooglePagespeed Insights is showing a red flag for that (and that’s the only images that don’t have height and width in our page)
is this added and I’m missing something here?

Yes, you can enable our catalog mode option in Theme Settings -> Shop -> Catalog mode. It will hide all products’ “Add to cart” buttons and you will show your product images and information only.

Thanks for the massive theme upgrade. Largest Contentful paint time slashed in half, total Blocking time down from 650ms to 77ms. Basically doubled the speed on both my websites sites home pages after extensive testing with GT Metrix. Google page speed is showing 89 mobile and 98 on desktop That’s without optimising fonts or anything else. Well done guys!

It looks like you have customized the cart widget in your child theme. Some CSS classes might be changed in our new update. You need to get the new widget code from our 6.0 version and customize it to your needs.

Check your “functions.php” file in the child theme. It has a custom code for the shopping cart widget. You need to remove it completely and copy the right one from the parent theme.
How to remove tag < h3 > from shopping cart? This is wrong in terms of SEO optimization.
