I have recently installed this on a new website with the video background option using a short video from YouTube. The video does not load on mobile devices and the page speed score from Google is shockingly bad at 33% which is the JS for the video! Is this just a fault with me or does using a video cause this type of issue?
Hi, unfortunately the video background option doesn’t work on iphone but it works on ipad, android and desktop devices.

Hi, custom social icons can be added with a few lines of custom css code that we can provide on our support forums.

Thanks, it solved my problem. However, when will you fix this bug? As staying on an older version of wordpress creates vunerability to hacking.

Tried to come back to this amazing template: > loaded to a fresh WP > changed the Homepage featured image to different file with the same size/name > it blinks for a split second, then changes to a different file for no reason, which isn’t even visible in the assets library

For some reason jquery is throwing an error because of the # in the URL. I think this is due to an update in WordPress, jQuery has been upgraded to a newer version where this is an issue. I have been waiting for an update that fixes this. Any plans to address the problem?

Hi again, we have updated our demo site to run on WordPress 5.0.2 and haven’t encountered to any issue about portfolio and no users has reported a similar issue before, so it seems like this issue is related to your WordPress installation which requires to inspect your site further by our support team to detect what’s wrong on your side. If it was a general bug that we could detect, we would happily fix it with an update without you needing to create a new topic, but this is not the case here unfortunately.

yes, that’s correct!
I just installed it on a clean installation of WP 5.0 and the problem exists! Would you please double check that “Portfolio” is in the “Admin Panel”?
yes, portfolio exists in the admin menu, btw make sure to enable the “Pixelwars Portfolio” plugin.

Very weird, i am testing your demo theme from my phone and i see icons, i tested from another Browser on desktop and i can’t see icons so there is a problem I think

Hi ! From another PC with a totally different config it doesn’t work too, my browser is chrome, i tested it with Firefox and Opera and the problem is the same.
The two are a 15” laptop with 1920*1080 resolution, so it’s not normal, the theme should display this icons in the demo ?
I think i’ll buy it as soon as it’s solve ahah
Okay, it’s the screen resolution which causes this !! When i switch my browser zoom to 90% i see the icons !!!
Is there an option to force icons on all screen resolutions in the theme ?
Hi again, the icons are only hiding on small desktop resolutions because there is not enough space to show icons, we have just tweaked this a bit now and now the icons should be visible even on 1366×768 resolution laptops, can you check again the demo site with clearing your cache?

Hi ! Same i don’t understand, i checked again the two laptops : first is in 1920×1080 so should work ? And here i have 1280×720 so i understand i can’t see them ! There is no option to force activation on all sizes of screen ?

- did you clear the cache with hitting ctrl + f5 ?
- in 1920×1080 the icons should be visible, maybe your display scaling settings is zoomed more than %150 (you can see the scale setting on Windows; right click on the desktop > Display Settings > Scale and Layout)
- unfortunately, 1280×720 doesn’t have enough space to show icons, so only menu text will be shown.
if none of the above doesn’t work, can you share a screenshot about the issue?

Oh yeah it’s the windows scaling !!!!! I understand, so it’s not a problem very sorry ! 
but i’m sad that users with same scaling have no icons

that shouldn’t be a real problem as your site will still be usable for lower res screens.
