Hi, I have an issue with light/dark button. When switched it shows the cached version because of litespeed cache. What should I do? It is just simple page cache which causes this issue. Site shibnet.com

1) The theme uses WordPress user meta functions to store and get last selected preset for each user (light/dark). Please check if that plugin gives you an option to make it less strict or add exceptions. You can find the user color theme functionality in the “vikinger/includes/functions/vikinger-functions-user.php” file from line 78.
2) You can customize the theme to add this functionality for logged out users, one way you could achieve this is by using cookies to store the selected preset (light/dark).

I used a plugin to show the products in activity. It appears when am using other themes but those products don’t appear when vikinger theme is activated

Hi hidayath, due to the really custom nature of the design (that has things like a custom slider with icon tabs in the profile pages instead of the classic BP row of links in order to make it look different than the average BP theme) plugins that may work in a vanilla theme, may require some code customization in order to integrate them. There is no problem in the theme and i can understand the custom coding done to bring the present output. Is there any guide where i can find the exact files to edit for getting the products on activity screen?

About my question: if i have custom post type (created manually or by other plugin), i wish I had the activity of this post (new post by, new comment in post by, ...) in the activity feed of Buddypress. BuddyBoss have an option to automatically activate that.

Due to the custom design of the theme, the activity form functionality is in React components, therefore it’s not possible to add a hook, additional functionality has to be added by customizing the respective components or adding new ones and this would be a whole new integration/customization, not something simple like adding a hook. We’ve been asked several times by other users about other giphy plugin, this one: https://bit.ly/347yRTv so we’re talking with their devs to see if they can provide us with a free version for us to make the integration for that plugin. Sadly, for now we haven’t had any response. there is no option on themes how to stream the video the live video. also when i publish the link activity stream the link is not embedded. thanks

Hi, i’ve installed the theme but im having some problems finding the way to customize the profiles, like adding tabs or showing my custom fields, i don’t find it in the documentation, because the samples looks like premade and those look correctly, but if i add a group to the profile it don’t show, also i would like to remove and change the position of the panels

Is it possible to change the number of posts in the activity stream? And it is possible to change the point where new posts have to load? Maybe more early.
Hi xSystems, sorry, but there’s no option to customize that at the moment. If you wanna change it, you’d need to customize the code. What you can do is make the status posts smaller (introducing a read more….) You can do this via the customizer Customizing ▸ Vikinger Settings ▸ Newsfeed. Best Regards
So, after some days and a lot of testing and settings and and and …. we have a crazy problem and i dont understand it.
On Desktop everything works fine. I can scroll and scroll and scroll and see every post. When i change the desktop solution to mobile, refresh the page then i have the “mobile version”. Everything is fine but when i scroll down in the activity stream the loading time is terrible … sometimes it needs up to 10 Seconds.
When i change to desktop view everything is fine.
Some idea the the problem is only with the responsive or mobile view? (on mobile devices the same problem)

This “Dark mode” feature is great, because it is in the air of time.
But, instead of imposing a color to the user, it would have been really great, and nice, to let the user choose the color, among the one proposed in the wp-admin.
IMPORTANT REQUEST:
Given the quality of the theme, and the price, and that it is a community theme, I find it quite distressing, not to have integrated, security:
-Report a profile
-Report a post, a group, a forum, a message..
-Block a member, and let users decide who can interact with them.
-Block posts
Also you propose the option “Type of member” it’s great!
But where is the use, since when you check the box “Display on member”
Displays where the member types will be listed, such as in the member’s header.
It doesn’t work and it’s a pity.
Hi AD-DIGITAL87, sadly we don’t have plans to add that much color customization for users, only admins have that power. Regarding the report/moderation, we are planning an integration with a moderation plugin! We don’t have ETA at the moment, but we already have plans to add it! Regarding members, we thought about this but with the name / username / member name would be too much info for profile boxes, anyway, we’ll keep in into consideration!

Hello, I recently purchased and installed this theme on a new install of WP. 1) NO GamiPress file or any file with .txt is located in the zip file I downloaded. 4 months ago you stated:
“please keep in mind that the folder is inside the full zip pack that you download from Themeforest, not the installable zip theme file.”
Yet this is 100% incorrect and a simple search of “the full zip pack that you download from Themeforest” finds NO .txt file.
2) There is no documentation if an end-user wants to make their own GamiPress rewards, just the .txt import step. Now my “Badges” are redirected to the homepage and my “Ranks” are redirected to “Archives”.
So where is this data because apparently, you break things if you just use GamiPress normally and the documentation doesn’t state this issue or a workaround.

1- The GamiPress file is inside the zip, this is 100% correct!! If there was no import file like you say, then no one else would have been able to import all this, and as you see, they were all able to import it without any issues (and you receive the exact file as everyone else) In fact, here’s a screenshot of the folder route:
