The theme is awesome, but I dont see functions from the demo site vs the one I purchased..why?
Hi midnightrebels, thanks! The theme from the demo is exactly the same as the one you download, this is reviewed by Envato’s team. You just need to import the demo, and setup everything correctly. If you haven’t done much yet, we recommend you to do a clean install to start again to make sure that the things you’ve done don’t interfere with the setup (be sure to install the latest version of the theme!)
After that you first have to install and setup the theme you can do it following the docs: https://odindesignthemes.com/vikinger-theme-docs/ inside “Getting Started” – “How to Install” “Theme Setup” (this is an important step as you need to correctly customize the BuddyPress setting to make sure everything works OK). Doing this things in order is very important for the process as failing to correctly setup BuddyPress may lead to errors or styling issues. If you install the latest version, you can see all steps in the “Getting Started” tab

GamiPress only creates a BuddyPress activity but not a notification (this is something from the plugin, not the theme) They do have a Notifications pro addon https://bit.ly/3eqvpcM , but it’s not currently supported by the theme, so it may require custom coding in order to style/integrate it. I am testing this theme on my test site and I see that the borders of some places on the website, photos, buttons, buttons, buttons and some words have lost the style and do not appear rounded.
Also I would like to ask what kind of VPS server do you recommend for this theme. Currently I have a 20$ plan in DigitalOcean but I see that it moves a little slow, I would like to know what is the optimal configuration. The loading times are excessive

Issue #5 I have to manually add all my users – The login button works if they already have access, but the register button and option does NOT work. I made sure that wordpress registration setting enabled to anyone can register in the WordPress (General Settings>Membership radio button)

Okay this one I figured out last night it was something simple. I had the Template for ALL the pages set to Elementer Canvas when it should have been to the activate/register etc page. same goes for a few other pages I was having issues with, they have been corrected and pages are displaying right now. TY very much for such a beautiful design!
Issue #4
Can users create blogs? (confusion on this), or is this just something only the “keymaster”/Site owner can do, and users can sort display of them? If they can, as the demo and the icon in their profile suggests, how do they do this, I cannot find documentation on this, and I don’t see an option for creating/editing one when you click on the icon it just shows what I posted as a “Wordpress Post”? Just want to make sure Im not missing something
Okay so I finally found this issue in the documentation – however me trying to disable this icon “Profile Posts Page – Status By disabling this option, you can remove the members profile posts page and associated navigation item.” It does not work, and still shows it on the profile page
Okay ignore this one, I just figured it out, had to remove the heirarchy/order number as well. But just answer can users post blogs as well or is that just site owner? Pretty sure I know the answer I just want to verify. Thank you
Yes, as we mention in the FAQs section, the blog posting is from the backend, but you have options to grant permissions to other users to upload them.

Issue #3 When typing status, updates, comments, replies, messages etc within the boxes the message trunactates weirdly both WHILE typing and after saving/sending.
Example: “I will go to type something in a box and the message gets c ut off in the next line option and shows this way both while y ou type and also after you save or submit what you are typi ng.”
well the format of the example didnt save how I was typing it 
here lol sooo hopefully you get what I mean. It cuts words in half when going to the edge of the box
Does this happen only when seeing it in the box, but when you post it the word is not divided right? This is due to BuddyPress and bbPress that has no word-wrap.
Yes it happens as users are typing (comments, messages, and profile statuses) and it shows that way both while typing and after posting. I will see if Buddypress and bbPress has some kind of workaround for the word wrap so its not truncating funky. thank you!
Issue #2: users are unable to turn off gem credit email notifications? I may have just overlooked this somewhere in the settings can you direct me? I cannot locate in the help/faqs or documentation

I am unable to access the credit settings as seen in the pic you sent, it just shows me the types of points etc. Ill upload a screenshot – https://flic.kr/p/2mcbcUp I also checked in tools and settings under GamiPress and same thing, the options are not there to edit. I made sure I have the most updated plugins as well, and I do.

Hello. I am working on trying to get your theme working, all plugins are working correctly. But I am having multiple issues with theme functionality, I will post each one as a separate comment.

Issue one – I popped into “inspect” mode to see the code on this one – The bounding box is smaller and the icons (as seen on profile pages) goes outside the bounding box. I can send you a screenshot if needed. wiper.container.horizontal does not contain the icons within the box, and they run off the page.

Hello! Loving the theme! – I however have had a problem and im not sure if its the theme or my hosting. For some reason the Activity feed, Groups and Members page are stuck loading and users cannot access them, the page itself loads but the content has the theme loading bar – same with notifications, so im thinking it could be an issue with BuddyPress. Other features such as the forums and other pages work though. Anyone had this issue before?

There’s no front-end option to create a blog post, they must be created from the backend.

You’ll need to customize the code in order to achieve that. You can find the author preview template in the following files:
1) “vikinger/template-part/post/post-open-v1.php” – line 70.
2) “vikinger/template-part/post/post-open-v2.php” – line 101.
3) “vikinger/template-part/post/post-open-v3.php” – line 87.
You may need to do additional template and style customizations in order to take into account the removal of the author element as to not leave a blank space where the element used to be.

The site logo is displayed in the header, footer and loading screen, which one are you referring to?.
Depending on which one you want to target your style rule should be more specific so that it only applies to the one you like (i.e: you could use the container or siblings to make your rule more specific).
Regarding where to put your custom CSS, you can use the Customizer -> “Additional CSS” like you described, or create a custom stylesheet that you can enqueue in the child theme.

Hello guys! Thanks a lot for this beautiful theme. I have a couple pre-purchase questions that I hope you can answer me :
1- Do you have a solution/fix for the blurry text on the newsfeed/user/group timeline on bigger screens? I’ve noticed it on the demo and on a website using the theme. My desktop screen is 1920×1040. But no problem on smaller screens (my laptop). Not sure where the break point is.
2- I’ve read you are working on a woocommerce update. I wonder if have you considered making the shopping cart visible somehow on the mobile menu? And also, to have the produtcs images thumbnail to appear on the shopping cart when on mobile?
