4. How do you upload products or create categories, is it done via code only?

this is static template you need to make ot dynamic and database as per your requirement
you can deploy application also steps are given in documentation , you need to know basic react for your requirements
can I use this as my shop theme? Does this have payment sytems (cart).

there is an issue with the template , for the Home Menu , even i deleted all children in the dummy data, i still get the sub-arrow and an empty white box on hover . i need only that home go the the homapage .

you mentioned this template has SSR (Server Side Rendering) but when I see the veiw source of the about us page then could not find any contents. How is it SEO friendly page?
theme is ssr supported for demo we have shown seo in some pages only

Documentation is not well defined. It would be more convenient if there is any server or aws deployment tutorial
for server development there are different server we have given option of build and production for react js you can ask aws server developer for help
