I really like your theme and I wanted to know if you had set up a real header builder (as other premium themes can offer).
1 – Can we easily integrate elements in the header (button, text box…) and place them where we want?
2 – Can we set up a different header on mobile?
3 – Can we set up a different header in sticky mode on desktop?
4 – Can we manage a topbar, even on mobile?
Is there a video tutorial to see what it looks like?

1. Yes, you can put any element/shortcode into header using a content block. Each header style has one or multiple areas where this content can be placed.
2. Yes, your mobile header can differ from your header on desktop.
3. Sticky mode header is the same header as in the default mode, but you can change its height, colors, and hide top bar and bottom bar.
4. Yes, top bar is available for certain header styles. On mobile however, only the main header bar is available.

Scape is fully translation-ready and multilanguage-ready. However, as with all themes, multi-language functionality should be added via a plugin.
Scape is fully compatible and is certified for use with WPML plugin (which is the most popular multi-language plugin out there), so we advise to use it together with the theme.

Polylang should work with translations. However, there are certain dynamic content within the theme where only WPML is supported out of the box. But it might be that you don’t even need it.

I would like to find out how I can add the content block menu to my mobile menu?
On our website we have SIGN IN and GET STARTED buttons next to the menu. These show up on the websites but they do not show up when we are on mobile. Can we get these to show up on mobile menu?

Please note that normal header and mobile header are two different things, and are set up separately. You should add the content you want to see in your mobile header through the menu builder in Theme Options -> Header settings -> Mobile navigation.

But I think after todays Wordpress update Facebook Pixel started breaking the website. I tried adding the code in the theme settings, with plugin and even manually.

Hi,
I will report the issue, because this is something to do with the theme. Facebook Pixel code is standard and works with every website. All I do is pasting it and you can see in the picture below it shows 2 errors even before saving it.

Hi – your theme looks amazing and I had a few pre-sale questions but couldn’t see where to send these:
1. Does the theme work with Advanced Custom Fields, for example if I wanted to place ACF data within a portfolio etc? Is this possible through the visual page builder?
2. Is there any way whereby I can create a grid layout (tiles/overlays etc), and then display other post types using the grid layout I choose?
3. Can I do the same as above, but as a carousel i.e. create the layout of each item, and choose the post type/category etc
3. Am I able to set a standard palette of colours which all elements will use the colourings of?
4. Does the Page Builder interface allow each element (rows/text boxes etc) to be customised with CSS? Can each element be set to have animations from a dropdown or does it just allow for custom CSS code?

1. There are no specific integrations with this particular plugin on the theme side. Therefore, as long as the default WP functionality is utilized, it should be fine. And then it’s more about the compatibility between the plugin and WPBakery Page Builder rather than the theme.
2. No grid constructor built in the theme, but we have plenty of ready-made grid templates to display posts or portfolio.
3. No, post carousels are not available and should be added using e.g. a 3rd-party plugin.
4. Each element can have one of 16 predefined appearance animations with configurable duration and delay. Design elements like margins, paddings, borders can be customized separately for each screen size for structure elements like rows, columns and content boxes.

Hi,
When I use Vimeo videos for “video box” element, the videos don’t have any controls on mobile and also I need to click many times to start the video. After it starts there is no way to pause or stop it. The only way to get to the controls is to enlarge. But there is no indication that can be done.
Also, I have a problem with the hamburger menu on mobile. When I click it reloads the page and when I click again I get an error.
By the way, the latest WordPress and Theme versions have been installed.

With the latest theme update (1.5.3) the Scape core plugin fails to update. I’m getting an error: PCLZIP_ERR_BAD_FORMAT (-10) : Unable to find End of Central Dir Record signature. Currently installed version is 1.4.12.

Hi,
I am getting lot of Error 500 on my site. I know my licence is expired but wanted to check out if you are aware of that and are you working on the fix?
When a page is updated there are multiple simultaneous POST requests to the /wp-admin/admin-ajax.php file. For example, in just 1 second there were over 30 such requests as seen in the access logs.
I can provide more detail information if needed.

After updating all plugins, wordpress and the theme I’m having styling issues in the THEME OPTIONS panel. Here is what it looks like: https://cln.sh/ES2HqC.
If it can help, this only happens with the CHILD theme and not the parent theme. Even with an empty CHILD theme (I tried deleting everything to test) the issue persists.

There has been a temporary styling issue previously unless the theme got updated. Can you please write us an email using author contact form and include the versions of Scape Theme, Scape Core plugin and Redux plugin that you have installed (make sure you update all of them)?

We wanted to use the User Menus plugin to be able to declare visibility for each menu item. But it seems your theme is not yet compatible with the plugin or better all plugins that alter the menu items. I learned that in wordpress 5.4 the nav menu walker got implemented into the core. So it would be great if you could make use of this so that all other plugins, that change the functionality of menu items are compatible with your theme. Since your theme alters the menu item functionality, I guess this is the problem why we can’t use the User Menus plugin yet.

Correct, Scape uses its own menu walker. It’s a common approach for themes, and the menu walker adds some important feature e.g. mega menu option and enables other design features. It basically makes theme’s menu look the way it looks.
You can deactivate, extend or override the theme’s menu walker programmatically, but this way the menu design might be broken. If a 3rd-party plugin uses its own walker, it certainly not built in a way to be fully compatible with themes or other plugins which are applying custom menu walkers.

Theme-related functional is quite heavily integrated with the menu editor, it was built way before that WordPress update. We would first need to assess if it is possible and how complicated it would be to rebuild it before making any conclusions.
We will add it to the backlog, but no hard promises, unfortunately.

Purchased your SCAPE theme. In order to “ACTIVATE” it it asks for envato token including following permissions
Enter the name for your Token and make sure the following four checkboxes are checked: View the user’s Envato Account username Download the user’s purchased items View the user’s items’ sales history List purchases the user has made Verify purchases the user has made
Are you serious? I’ve got many purchases on my Envato and you want an access to all of them?
I wouldn’t mind sharing purchase code but this is just not acceptable.

Why Can’t I activate the theme ?
My token is valid with required permissions, and purchase code also valid… but response is

On the Image gallery… How can I show image title or caption on the image before opening it or in the Lightbox?
For future updates; it would be great to have a setting to enable and disable captions or titles under Theme Options > Components > Lightbox.
