Is the Wild Book Theme compatible with woocommerce or any other selling platforms?

I’m having trouble running this theme on PHP 7.4. I can run a child for this on 7.4 but when I try to access the Customizer it throws a 500 error. If I switch to PHP 5.6 it works, but breaks other plugins/areas of my WP.

The blockquote boxes for my theme used to be left-aligned, and suddenly everything is center-aligned: https://vellichorvibes.com/ When I look at it in a private browser (used Firefox both times), the blockquote boxes are left-aligned as intended. Is this a glitch with some WordPress update, or is there an easy way to resolve the issue so I can have the quotes left-aligned consistently? I didn’t touch anything, so I’m not sure what’s going on.

Two questions/requests:

Is it possible to move the category description and title over to the sidebar instead of at the top of the content area, so that it shows up over the background image of that category?

and

I would like to move the top content menu over to the sidebar and keep it as a horizontal menu instead of the current vertical one. i do not have a logo, am using sidebar 5 (so my site title is at the bottom already).

I have experience modifying php files and moving code around; I just don’t know where to start with this particular theme (and don’t want to go in and meddle since I don’t know how to adjust for the mobile version either).

I apologize if this falls under ‘customization services’, but have seen so many other comments with similar requests, so I thought I would ask.

Request for feature to be added in a future release:

Color coded categories/tags. In addition to having a unique image assigned as the sidebar background, it would be fantastic to set a color for that category as well that would apply to all associated posts (titles, links, archive, etc). I am doing it by hand at the moment

.blog .category-name a:link, .category-name a:visited { color: #b32d60; } etc But I would love a way to be able to just choose a color in the customizer or when I create the category. I know there is a way to code it in via the functions page somehow, but that is beyond my skill and knowledge.

I know it requires some MAJOR customizations, which is why I’m requesting it for a future release rather than a request right now for me (although if I’m wrong and you have the time and are intrigued enough to figure it out, I definitely won’t argue!) I just think it would be another unique feature that I’ve seen on ONE other theme (Seashell, by meks which is also sold here on EM).

Hi, I purchased this theme a few days ago. I like it very much. However I am having a bit of a problem – I’m trying to customize the colors on my site using this theme. I’ve changed everything I can from the Customize menu, but the default colors are appearing on Posts, Slider Menu and some other places. How/where do I change the colors for those places?

Hi there. I’m tying to add a page to the Additional Content Areas > Sidebar, but I’ve noticed that if I have a static page selected on my site, for some reason it tries to post that into the sidebar area instead of the selected page. However, if I change my homepage from static to blog entries, then it allows me to add the page to the sidebar.

I’m not sure if this is a bug or something I’m doing wrong. I am using Elementor for my pages.

Hi there I am interested in help with my new wildbook theme purchase

I have recently purchased and installed Wild Book on my domain.

I use the portfolio for presenting my products but have run into trouble with the templates for listing portfolio items. So far we are only able to select the Portfolio Grid (3 columns) in page attributes. All other portfolio options fail to show anything on the page when previewed or published. All portfolio items have been given a featured image. WordPress install is 5.8.1.

Am I missing something obvious?

Is it possible to set the menu to the top and not to the side, similar to ‘The Lifestyle – Vintage & Simple WordPress Blog Theme’ ??

Sorry if I come with such a mundane question, but I would be terribly glad if you could help me with an idea about how to expand the blog area. Right now there’s a lot of white empty space left and right of posts area and I’d like to cover that too.

I have a feeling this is really simple css, but I’m at a loss with it.. So, how do I change posts area so it’s wider and fills in the empty space? I’m trying my hand with a literary blog and text should be all over the place
