also can i add links to product pages to each sentence? for example can i add a link to woocommerce product on the sentence “my funny valentine”?

Theme is compatible with WooCommerce. The “Adalyn” homepage is created using the Interactive Showcase Link element and you can add any link to individual items (sentences) as shown in screenshot.

Like the other reviewers said it’s full of bugs and I’ll add completely half baked. Who has the time to open several tickets when you’re trying to build?
The biggest red flag here is they didn’t even care to add it to the QODE Help Center.
As for bugs, Logo changes don’t actually change like the other reviewer mentioned. I clearly spelled out the broken code in a ticket. Support responded and they want credentials so they can assist. How about just fix it when the code clearly shows it’s broken?
The Qode settings don’t match the documentation left in other themes. For example. The demo content comes with the “Side Area” enabled. Don’t want that side area any more? Too bad – it’s a menu option in the Qode settings that’s clearly visible in other themes documentation (Bridge) but doesn’t show anywhere in the MeVoy Theme Qode setttings page.
Want to disable that “Side Area” widget? Too bad – Throws an “The “mevoy_core_woo_dropdown_cart” block was affected by errors and may not function properly. Check the developer tools for more details.” Probably should have debugged this woo commerce integration before you let it out in the wild.
At the bare minimum – Went to change an image in the demo content to something else and it completely broke the entire layout. Things just do not work as expected. Opening a ticket for every unexpected behavior is completely unreasonable.
I’ve never been so frustrated by a theme in my life. At this point I want to nuke my entire install and start over just to get this garbage out of my site.

Regarding the logo, please note that on some pages logo images are uploaded locally (in page logo options, see this screenshot).
Local options are always overriding global theme options, and for more info, see this article: The Global And Local Settings Info And Troubleshooting
Regarding the issues you have with widgets, please understand that we didn’t include compatibility with the latest version of WordPress just yet and we are working on adding compatibility for that version as well. By then install and activate Classic Widgets plugin to resolve the issue with widgets. We hope that the update will be available soon.

When you import our theme you will get all the content that you can see on our live demo. Try to import the content, by following the steps from the following article: How To Import Demo Content Using The One-Click Demo Import Feature (Bridge Versions 18 And Older).

Thank you for taking interest in our theme.
The theme comes bundled with Slider Revolution plugin and this plugin allows using videos both as a slide background or as a video layer.
You can use videos as the background for the section ( please see screenshot ). There are also “Video” and “Video Button” shortcodes for adding videos with Elementor page builder. Unfortunately there is no option adding videos as featured images for portfolio lists or as a parallax backgrounds.

Any updates planned guys? There are definitely some bugs, but my main concern is… Why in the world would you have a lightbox function that allows for content download? Thats crazy? The disable lightbox option DOES NOT WORK. After trying to disable it 30 times and clearing caches, and every other possible solution in the world it still will not work! Option saved, no not saved. This has to be a bug. Great theme, but I don’t have the time for a ticket and everything else. Just address the issue. Its a bug.

The lightbox doesn’t block images from being downloaded on our demo too as you can see here. You can try using a 3rd party plugin to add this functionality.
Unfortunately there is no option to deactivate lightbox on portfolio single pages, however you can disable it on single product pages with ‘Enable Image Lightbox’ option ( please see screenshot ), and this option is working correctly on our local installation. Also, there is a default Elementor lightbox which you can disable in Site Settings>Lightbox ( see screenshot ).
You can also disable images from being clicked and opening lightbox with custom css, just please submit a ticket at our Help Center and one of our support agents will gladly help you with this.

Unfortunately it is not possible to save files from core plugin or any other plugin inside the child theme. Only theme files can be saved inside the child theme.

The theme is simply covered in bugs. Simple functions don’t work:
1. The theme is changing the thumbnail image quality by at least half. All the images are blurry. Never had this happen with a theme before.
2. The menu doesn’t change when you change it, and every page has a different menu layout even if you saved a menu layout in both Core Options and the Customization section. The last menu change made all the sublinks disappear and it only shows the logo and nothing else. The menu does not display the sub items in the dropdown on some pages.
3. Images in the slider doesn’t change – and if you try to add images the whole theme collapses. If you replaced the image links in the wordpress edit having no other option to change the images, the whole theme collapses.
4. Description content in the shop doesn’t show up on some pages
5. How to get rid of the contact form on each product page?
6. On shop pages (with the sidebar menu) product content does not appear.
