When importing demo content (bluehost), I get “Error: Service Unavailable (503)”. I tried it manually as well and verified the PHP INI requirements are correct. Any ideas on how to fix this?

i know it is a css issue i know a bit about it but for a hexagon not so good you have different code for it. but you made that code anyway so you know how to change this I think. if you kind I will buy your theme.

Header color theme (dark/light) is adjustable from Customizer. Other things you’ll need to adjust via custom CSS.

It adds some extra functionality to WordPress “Permalinks” panel and enables post types “slugs” customization as follows.

Hello! Make sure to check these things:
1. In Elementor: “Top Left Burger” -> Site Settings -> Layout Settings -> “Default Page Layout” is set to “Theme”: https://disk.yandex.ru/i/kd2I8QtgbDbAHg

4. If you’ve used “Theme Builder” feature provided by Elementor, make sure to check any rules that potentially may override site parts including the footers.

I need your help as soon as possible. Every time I make a new service page, the page is automatically added to every single “service content” “service slider” on my pages! That’s too troublesome!! I need to change every “service content” “service slider” setting to get rid of those new service pages. I guess that the same goes for “album cover lists” “portfolio sliders”. Hello! Use “Page” post type instead of custom post types. By default pages don’t appear anywhere automatically in the dynamic widgets. Or use “Static” data source in your dynamic widgets and create custom slides https://disk.yandex.ru/i/LUtiFoBVujNYfA This mode is available for most of the theme dynamic widgets. It will unbind data source from WP posts (including the newly published ones) but you’ll have to re-create widget content yourself in this case.
There is nothing else to fix since this is the standard workflow in WordPress when you create a post and it appears in the blog feed immediately after publishing.

Hello, how do you get the theme to stop automatically adding portfolio items to existing portfolios that are displayed? I want to be able to manually add items to the portfolio.
Hello! Simply don’t publish a newly created portfolio item but keep it draft. Draft posts won’t be automatically displayed in frontend but you’ll still be able to work on these posts from Elementor builder.
I understand that. That’s not quite my issue. When I create a portfolio item, why does it automatically add it to the portfolio? I have the same portfolio on multiple pages, and sometimes I only want that item on one portfolio. So I always have to go back and remove it from multiple portfolios. Can I set it to not automatically add a portfolio item as active?

By “portfolio” you mean dynamic Elementor widgets (e.g. grids, sliders) that display portfolio items? Well, because those are designed to display all the existing published posts of a custom type. Basically they replicate the standard WordPress blog posting functionality where you publish a post and it immediately goes to feed on the blog page (unless you save this post as a draft) without any extra confirmations or selections. Aside from manual exclusion of published posts via widget panel, unfortunately, there are no other mechanisms to not to display a newly published portfolio post in dynamic widgets.

Hello. Theme doesn’t provide any additional labels for the burger menu icon. You’ll need to customize it on your own directly in PHP code. File wp-content/themes/rhye/template-parts/header/header.php lines 136 – 145 where burger icon is displayed.

Hi, first of all, great work, congrats. I have a question before purchasing: I very liked the fullscreen disortion horizontal demo. But as I see on Demos the images and data comes from projects. I think there is an ACF named projects. Is it possible to get this images pulled from a specific post category instead of projects. Or maybe manually define slides?
Hello! Thank you. Yes, you can populate slider with the custom content instead of pulling it from the portfolio posts. This is called “static data source”: screenshot. The distortion effect will work fine in this mode. However please keep in mind that there will be simple “sliding curtain up” transition (instead of “seamless zoom-in”) when you click to the custom slider links since they aren’t connected with portfolio projects.

Hello, when I’m on mobile, I have a latency after clicking on a menu item where nothing happens. After 2 or 3 seconds the spinner appears then the menu closes. Is it possible to close the mobile menu after clicking on an item? Or to remove this latency? I’m using a Samsung Note 9 with Chrome.
Hello. It means that it takes 2-3 seconds to load the next page. But, yes, the loading indication should appear immediately, not after the page load. I will check if there is any room for improvement in the next theme update.
Hello! We’ve recently purchased your theme and it’s great. Everything working as expected, except a little issue with self-hosted “lightbox video” widget.
The video lightbox closes as soon as you scroll and you can see a dark opacity line in the top of the video screen till the video controls disappear. You can check it in your own demo: https://artemsemkin.com/rhye/wp/services-2/ . The issue is not happening with vimeo and youtube videos.
Is there any way to solve this issue? Since we are creating a website for a videographer and would be great to be able to use your widget instead Elementor native one.

1) As soon as the video starts playing 1st issue you will see is a darker horizontal frame in the top of the video screen
2) Now, scroll up or down with your mouse while the video is playing. The video will close and stop playing.

The top bar is a part of gallery UI. It helps to provide the sufficient visual contrast to the buttons controls (close, fullscreen, caption, etc) towards the underlying content (photos and videos). If you really have a reason to hide it, it’s possible to do via CSS:

2) Now, scroll up or down with your mouse while the video is playing. The video will close and stop playing.
Yes, it’s also a feature of the used gallery plugin. When user is trying to scroll up and down in lightbox he is usually wants to continue page scrolling so the lightbox closes. As you may have noticed that it doesn’t work with Vimeo and YouTube videos because those videos are embedded iFrames. And iFrames intercept mouse events so we can’t detect if scroll up/down geustres when mouse is over an embedded video.

Currently there is no theme option to disable this feature. I’ll consider to add this one and some other gallery options in the next theme update. Those will be available in Customizer -> Galleries panel.
It would be great if you could add this feature since it really doesn’t make sense for a video lightbox to close if user accidentally scrolls and then has to replay the video again from the beginning. Thanks for your response!

To achive this I recommend you to use regular paragraph tags with “dot” unicode symbol instead of HTML lists. Using the elementor Portfolio Masonry Grid widget, whenever I add a new element to the portfolio, by default it is added to all the pages of my site where the Portfolio Masonry Grid widget is present. How can I do to avoid this? Because from the widget settings there are no solutions and every time I add an article I can’t go and edit all the portfolios! Thank you
Hello. It’s designed to work in that way to dynamically fetch all the published portfolio items. If you don’t want a portfolio post to appear immediately in the dynamic widgets, just keep it draft and don’t publish. You’ll still be able to work on it in Elementor builder.
