Yes, when articles are showing by category or in archive just below the byline there is a rectangular box that when moused over shows a different color. It’s about 600w x 150h in pixels. Can’t see where it’s generating from. Does not show on regular post or pages though.
Ok, I think I got it. Are you referring to the post thumbnail image box that shows the surrounding box even if there is no featured image set? If that’s the case, just wait for the next update please (coming tomorrow), it has already been fixed.

I guess you’re referring to the images you place in your posts. If that’s the case copy and paste this into the Theme Options > Advanced > Custom CSS text area.

1. First take a look at the help file, section 9
2. Then Gallery > Add New Gallery
3. Click upload/insert media
4. Upload the desired images at once > Save all changes
5. In gallery settings select the ‘Image file’ radio button
6. Click Insert Gallery > done

Hi Djwd, Slowly learning+understanding your theme. Right now I am stumped at the following points:
1. In your demo, you have latest reviews widgets on the sidebar. I added the minimosity-latest review widget to the sidebar and chose the category. It shows just empty coloumn in the sidebar. Not displaying the reviews as you got in the demo.
2. In the review posts, the review scores comes after ‘the related post’ widget’. When I checked your review single post demo, you don’t have any related post widget appearing in it. So am not sure how this came in between :/, though I don’t mind the related posts appearing I would prefer it after the review scores.

1. Are you completely sure you have some posts in the selected categories? If you are then I’d need to check it out to understand what’s wrong so please pvt me with your wordpress admin info.
2. Did you use any plug-in to convert post-types? To write reviews you simply need to select Reviews > New Review, related posts shouldn’t even be there. If that’s not the case then definitely give me your access info and I’ll have a look.

2. Since I had couple of normal review posts earlier, I had used convert post types plugin to convert it to the review type.
Also, I would like to know how the gallery works. How do i add images? In your demo gallery you have thumbnails generated, that opens up to bigger image upon clicking. How to enable it?

Some more minor issues:- I used to write copy for the ‘more’-link. Could you add it as alt-tag to the ‘more’-functionality? I.e. it appears when you hover over the +button that links to the rest of the text?
- The title of the ‘popular posts’ widget doesn’t change although I typed in another text in WP
- The Home Tabs feature doesn’t seem to work as it does on your sample page: It loads too many posts and the tab links don’t work
- Categories widget: The vertical spacing is not correct when entries are indendet (i.e. they are sub categories); and the spacing is a bit too large, I think
- The image capture formatting doesn’t seem correct, the frame around photographs is not layed out properly. There should be some spacing underneath the capture before the following text appears

Hi Walter, Let’s go straight to your questions/suggestions:
- The Alt attribute (alternate text) has accessibility purposes and should not be used to add additional content. It would not be semantically correct to make it behave like you used to.
- ? Minimosity Custom Popular Posts Widget doesn’t have an option for the title.
- According to your description seems like the JS isn’t working. Please remove the home reviews showcase and the gallery home showcase untill they have some content to display. This should fix it.
- Minimosity doesn’t come with a category widget, I guess you’re referring to the default wordpress widget. I’ll have a look on how it renders.
- I’m not sure I got this one. What do you mean by Image capture formatting? If you’re referring to the spacing between paragraphs add this
#single article p {margin-bottom: 22px;}in the Theme Options > Advanced > Custom CSS text area. If not then please send me a link or a screenshot through my profile page so I can have a look.

- Would it not be helpful to tell people what to expect when they hover over the ”+” icon (‘more’ functionality)?
- Okay? But it features a text field when dragged into the WP widget UI…
- Okay, I removed the (empty) gallery, now it all works
- Correct, it’s a matter of CSS styling that’s not done properly in WP
- Correct, your CSS instruction helps, but the caputre frame around the photograph still doesn’t render properly, e.g. in this sample: I could see less spacing for the capture but more spacing underneath it
And a new one that you can see on the same sample page: h2-tags for intermediate titles could use more vertical spacing above.

- Honestly, I don’t think so. I think blog readers are so used to the ‘read more’ link that they already know what to expect when they click on it. I believe people are not going to wait a second or two hovering the link to see if some text appears, they just click it.
- I suspect you’re referring to the post count field since it’s the only available field, its goal is to set how many posts to display, not the title

- Oooh now I got it, by capture you mean caption don’t you? That (ugly) border isn’t supposed to be there, please do not use the wp caption field for the moment, is not supported. Write a description as a paragraph, I’ll style it correctly in the next update.

Great stuff. Okay I was just checking that I wasnt missing anything. Got a few minor things…
The sticky nav doesnt seem to be working (its turned on but wont stick)
Also I’d like to have the home icon on the nav bar. I’ve managed to get the icon in using a custom class but its not got any hover state like yours in the demo.

Please remove the Latest Reviews Showcase on the homepage content untill you have some reviews to display. I think that is causing the problem to your Sticky Nav and other scripts.
To have the home icon like the live demo simply add a class named home (not ‘homeico’ as I see in your website), and everything should go ok.

Yesterday I bought your Wordpress template and I like it a lot! It’s very flexible and features a lot of neat options, congratulations!
I’m still in the first configuration steps after the migration from my previous template, hence not all images are rescaled yet etc. Here’s the preview.
I will change the header in order to feature my blog’s title via H1-tag for good SEO . I will also want the author’s social network links to be nofollowed and to open in a new window. I can fix that type of issues myself (I think) but would it not be beneficial to all your customers?
How should I go about changes in the php/css files when an update becomes available? How can I protect my changes from being overwritten?
BTW , I’m running version 1.2.1 but WP still tells me to update.

I could tell you what to change but I’d suggest you to wait for the next update (to be released in a few days), an improvment for the site title to allow text branding is already in plans.
To protect your CSS and JS changes, simply add them through the options panel in the Advanced Tab. If you plan to do heavier customization, the creation of a child theme is the best way to go though.
Ignore the update message please, 1.2.1 is the latest version.

Bada$$ theme, one question before purchase, will it play nice with woo commerce? I tried another template that has not played nice with woo commerce and I need a template like this that let’s me concentrate on my blog and advertising meanwhile selling my branded products on a separate shop link that shows a new shop menu for woo commerce once they click it. Hope I made sense, this theme would be perfection if this was possible

Bummer djwd…maybe in the future..I do see some people are adding the woocomerce to the blogs, but not getting good reviews right now, can you implement it custom if one pays you extra or is that impossible for this layout?
Well not impossible, I just don’t see it as a priority right now since I don’t think there are enough people interested in such a feature in a blog theme, but I could be wrong. I’ll look into this tho, and consider implementing wC in the future If I receive more requests. For personal customizations let’s talk private.
