Its a beautiful theme, nice effects etc etc. – BUT every update breaks normally working things.
This is like you hired lot of people from Microsoft to work on updates :-)) (I hope not!!)
This time – its the dark / light toggle switch. Now it just sits idle after the recent March 22, 2023 update.
Can you please be careful not to break working things in last versions in every update?
AND please let me know how to fix this toggle button!!

Yes, I did every check that I can, it still exists, it appeared since the recent update Mar 22, 2023.
I’ve to disable the toggle button temporarily, instead of keeping it there. Site users complained a lot – since there is critical content they read using dark mode on phones or tablets / computers.
Its a cool feature, please help to fix it.

Hey, I have a questions regarding the lightbox. I use the vertical interactive link portfolio elements and when I click on one of the links, there’s a lightbox pop up that shows the featured image, project title, and show project button. Is there a way to change the featured image to be a video player or is there a way so when I click the link, a pop up video lightbox would appear instead of the default lightbox?

How can i restore back the footer section? I imported a demo, then I remove some content on the footer, but right now I am thinking to get it back.

Firstly we strongly recommend you to make a backup of your site to avoid data losses and have the possibility to rollback your changes. After that try to install the same demo from scratch and check if the footer with pre-made widgets will be imported.

Every. Dang. Time. Sigh…
Whenever I update this theme, everything breaks and I have to restore. No other theme I’ve used has ever failed me this reliably before. This time it ditched all my custom CSS and theme settings. I was running the version RIGHT before the current one, so this isn’t an edge case. The header.php file changed too, so I had to port in all those overrides before the site even rendered at all. This version’s update problem occurred twice; it’s not a fluke.
Woodmart gets it right. Every update they’ve released has been graceful and reliable. Maybe take a page out of their book and see how they handle graceful updates so site owners aren’t left in shambles.
Look, I can’t front: Ohio is beautiful & wildly performant. I love how forward-thinking its design and UX features are. It’s lovely and makes us look stunning. However, its updates are volatile and outright dangerous…and this is coming from an agency which manages hundreds of WP sites.
Be careful when updating Ohio. Take backups!

You’ve got mentioned issues while getting the 3.2.2 version and the previous one was 3.2.1, right? If so, please ensure that you updated Ohio Extra plugin to the latest (3.2.2) version as well and clear all cache that might cause issues.

Hello, let me start by saying that the theme is great. however i’m facing 2 weird issues:
1- Portfolio grid is not showing similar to the demo. I set the columns to 2, but i don’t get the nice layout of showing 1 item on the first then 2 items on the second line. (https://snipboard.io/6rfJLv.jpg)

Translated (WPML > Advanced Translation Editor) post/page’s frontend does not read the theme settings. Do you have any idea? Thanks.
I think it somehow resets or does not copy the page settings when duplicating for translation. And it also does not copy the Elementor settings and styles either. You should check on these.
New Founding: Theme settings become blank/reset when you switch between the languages (Admin). I checked WPML settings (Custom Field Translation section) and the theme setting fields look “not translate”. So switching between languages on Admin shouldn’t be deleting/resetting the theme settings.
