Hi all, I am currently trying to import jobs into the system via wp all import. The import works so far, but the jobs are not displayed in the search. It seems that not only the location but also the Google Maps location must be set during the import. Unfortunately there is no field for this (not even in the individual fields). Can you tell me how we can set this?

You can go to Dashboard/Civi/Import, and click the Refresh Data button, to make sure all jobs field data is properly added.

However, we have to import several thousand jobs daily, so I can’t click on all of them again so that they appear in the search. Hi there, presale question. 1. Can the employer search for CV’s / Profiles on the database? 2. Is there a function to sell CV searching package to Employers? 3. Can we hide candidate CV’s so no one can have access to candidates, only paid package employers? 4. I love the design of your job board but the way it is set up is mainly for freelancers.. There are two way a job owner can monetise with a job board, Job adds and Profile/CV searches. And, right now Civi is an open platform for Employers and Candidates to collaborate with each other? Correct me if i am wrong.
Can the board owner hide the candidates and offer CV searches to employers as a package?
Job boards are generally made for people who are currently working in a full-time job and they apply anonymously to a company and not for their colleagues or employer to find out that they are looking for work by openly showcasing their profile on a job board.
I could be all wrong about your theme, so i need a bit of educating. these functions could be all manageable and hidden with a click of a button – i’m just curios how it is set up, so i can make a purchase

i’ve been looking at your demo Employer dashboard doesn’t have admin rights?
1. The employer admin should be able to invite their staff (recruiters) to post jobs and the respective recruiter able to manage their own jobs/candidates. Does the theme provides this?
2. Why does (Create a Job) has Company, Select company (drop down) and Create new company section? Doesn’t creating a job links with the employer? What is the purpose of this section? This is a bit unusual for an employer to create another company..
Another question: Why doesn’t Apply Job automatically fetch the CV from candidates profile? Does the candidate need to upload it for every job they apply?

1. The employers can search for candidates who send CVs to them and download their CVs.
2. Currently the theme dose not have feature of selling CVs.
3. Hiding candidates can be done.
4. I do not get this one. What is “boolean string”?
5. The search only searches candidate profile data.
6. Yes, Civi is a platform for Employers to post jobs and candidate to submit their profile and apply jobs.
7. The recruiters (also having employers account) can join the other employer team.
8. The Job has Company so that employers can post jobs of multiple companies, not just companies they are working for.

Hi, there, thank you for your response. I think you have the whole job board concept all wrong. I am a recruiter with 20 years of experience and we do not advertise for multiple companies, we advertise for one company/employer.
- Employer is the Company (Employees are the people that work for the company) – An Employer would not advertise for multiple companies. Therefore, you should create an employer admin for the employer to invite employees to advertise their roles.
- Job board database of candidates should be searchable by employers, not just candidates that have applied to employer job.
Are you able to custom build the above?
Else i don’t see the value of this job board.

1. I understand your point. Actually, on some cases, some clients like it to have multiple companies managing. But this is depending on the employer. If he wants to post job for multiple companies, he can, if not, then he can just post job of a company.
2. This is possible on the front-end. Everyone can search/filter for candidates, jobs, companies. There is a search page for each of these listings.

The theme looks good, however, there are many bugs and hard-coded elements that users cannot change them easily without adding custom codes or using other plugins to help. I assume that you want to quickly launch a minimum viable product, so I totally understand. I hope there are updates for big improvement in the future.

1. The theme currently does not allow that. But it can be done by allowing one admin as an employer and only that account to add jobs.
2. This can be achieved.
3. The page for candidate can be hidden.

5. Yes, the data can be exported using WordPress export tool, as normal posts or pages.
