I can see that these settings are coming from the following core file: /plugins/listeo-core/includes/class-listeo-core-submit.php
Also same fields showing under class-listeo-submit-builder.php However, I understand that modifying core plugin files directly is not recommended, as those changes will be lost during updates.
My questions:
1) What is the best way to customize or add new fields in this section without modifying the core file? 2) Does the Listeo plugin provide hooks or filters to allow the addition of custom settings or fields in the listing submission form? 3) Is there any official documentation available for developers regarding these customizations? 4) Is there any caching enabled in the core files as I have just tried to change labels in core files(just for testing purpose) but nothing has changed so please confirm that as well.

I’m currently evaluating your theme Listeo for a directory website project focused on the HVACR industry.
Before proceeding, I’d like to confirm whether the theme supports or can be extended to include the following features:
“Bump-Up” Listings: The ability for users with active paid subscriptions to promote their listings back to the top of the directory results (either automatically or manually), similar to a “refresh” or “highlight” option.
Custom Badges: The ability to display custom badges or icons on listings (e.g., “Verified Technician”, “Certified by Admin”, etc.) based on manual approval or user role/type.
This directory will include HVAC technicians, refrigeration supply stores, and training academies related to the field. So I’d also like to know if the theme is flexible enough to support multiple listing types or categories, each with its own fields and badge rules.
Additionally, are these features natively supported or would they require custom development or third-party plugin integration (such as Directorist, ACF, or WP Job Manager extensions)?

Those features you mentioned are not available out of the box, they would require custom development. LIsteo is not based on 3rd party plugins, it’s our custom code.
at least with your template can I manually add to featured and Trending Listings those listing from who paid a subscription?
And add some custom badges like “certified” and star icon, insted of pricing range, just besides cathegory and city at the top of listing deteal?
And suscription payment can be made via woocommerce payment methods?

I need assistance with customizing a specific menu. I am trying to modify the dropdown menu that appears when hovering over the user icon in the top right corner of the website header.
This is not the main Dashboard menu. I want to know how I can add, remove, or change the links that are displayed in this particular header user dropdown menu.

I am building a directory website using the Listeo theme which includes a booking feature. My goal is to allow listing owners to receive payments for bookings made through the site, while I, as the site owner, collect a commission. The theme offers a split payment option via Stripe Connect, but this functionality is not fully supported for platform accounts in my location (India). We discussed that without automated split payments like Stripe Connect, I would need to implement a manual workflow where either I receive the full payment and manually pay out the listing owner’s share, or the listing owner receives the full payment and I manually collect my commission. Listing owners can view their earnings balance in their “Wallet” on the site, but they cannot initiate payouts themselves; this action is performed by the site administrator. I need guidance on the most efficient and reliable method to handle payments and commissions given the limitation with automated split payments.

Contact Form 7 definitely can be disabled, it’s just used on conact form page or in a widget if you use “message vendor” contact form

Yes, all those plugins are necessary to run the theme as demo shows, but if you don’t use Bookings you probably don’t need Autocomplete WooCommerce Orders, if you don’t want users to contact your LIsting vendors via email, then you don’t need “Contact Form 7 Dynamic Text Extension and “Contact Form 7”. If you don’t need breadcrumbs on your pages then disable Breadcrumbs plugin.
CMB2 is necessary for all custom fields for posts pages and listings, and Kirki is needed for Customizer options so also required.
and Purethemes.net CPT is for “Testimonials” so probably you can also remove it

When I enter the URL in the WhatsApp chat, the featured image for the post or page in question isn’t displayed:

If meta property is given with proper image URL path then I can’t see theme fault. It’s either cache issue of facebook fault but I guess facebook cached it wrongly

The error was in the WhatsApp settings. With the new updates, you need to “DISABLE” “LINK PREVIEWS.”

I am trying to use this theme for a tour booking. I want to set a dynamic pricing e.g 2-5 person – $10/person, 6-10 person – $8/person and so on – basically the more number of person the cheaper rate per person. So when they book 7 person the rate will automatically update as $8/person in my example. Is this achievable for this theme? Thanks.

recurring payments work only with WooCommerce Subscription extension
But I tried with your help to use the Woo subscriptions plugin for recurring payments, but this was never functioning. Because at the end of the publishing period of listings subscription, for example 30 days, your theme always has unpublished all listings. But the subscriptions were paid correctly by the Woo subscription plugin. After months of trying to run that correctly, it was not possible to fix that problem by you and I needed to stop my website creation with your theme.
