Hello. I realise support has expired, but I’m confused as to why our perfectly working website (since 2016) is now completely broken because the theme has changed from your lovely premium theme to a free wordpress one of the same name: https://en-gb.wordpress.org/themes/unik/. All customisations gone. I’m not blaming you of course. Just seems weird how this could happen?

I’ve recently updated my Unik theme to version 1.6. Previously my sites layout looked just like the Demo version, however after updating the theme the layout, design and style is completely different. The screenshot of the theme shows a preview of the Demo version, however the author says that it is by ‘ThemeCastle’ instead of ‘PremiumLayers’. This seems to be where the difference is, however why has this happened after updating the theme?

I updated your template on site www.alberodelkiri.it and after update the site is corrupt and it doesn’t run no more. Now It is in maintainence mode, but if you need I can give you an account to see the problem.

Hi there,
I have submitted a support ticket with no response. I also followed up on that ticket with your site’s contact page.
In the UNIK theme control panel: I can not change the footer content or the logo. When I try – it defaults back to original settings.
I can not use this theme at all at this point and I don’t know whether to ask for a refund and leave a poor rating or wait longer for a reply.

I have been buying themes here for years. Many of us have deadlines and expectations from our own Clients that we will meet them. This is the first time I have purchased a Theme from Themeforest and have had to wait this long on an issue from any developer.
I am not asking for anything custom. The theme control panel does not work. Changes do not ‘stick’.
Please advise.
I was finally told I should re-install the theme to the latest version (a version released yesterday to fix these issues I assume). So I did.
The same issue is happening. I am really frustrated with this experience.
The original issues with the control panel were resolved yesterday. Thanks. I am still waiting to find out why the sidebar disappears on the responsive view and I need some help on the logo area as there seems to be no place to adjust the size. Will let you know when I hear back.

You did not fix the issues I explained from 9 days ago. You never even responded to my support ticket at that time. This is now over 2 weeks from my original ticket. I can’t, in good conscience, recommend this theme.
- I have purchased almost 100 themes (96) over the years just from Theme Forest alone. I have some perspective on quality and also response/support time from developers. I have given better ratings to lesser themes because the support was there
-Unfortunately, my rating here (in my personal experience) is accurate.

Yes, thank you. I received an email notice that you closed the ticket and asked for me (again) to update/improve my review today. I will update my review (stars) because the Client is happy with the finished site… and the theme itself is working now. However, the time it took to resolve the issues (and having to contact ThemeForest to get a response from the author at all)... and the fact that the fixes required theme fixes or CSS work arounds are why I can’t, in good conscience, recommend this any higher than 3 stars.

I did update my review to 3 stars. I explained my reasoning above. Please do not ask again as you have asked multiple times. Again, I had to involve THEME FOREST to get you to respond originally at all to an issue that ended up being remedied only by a new release of the theme. Honestly, because of that fact alone, 3 stars is pretty generous. Thanks.

Hi, I’m doing some work for a clients website that uses your theme. Their site hasn’t been updated in some time and they are still using version 1.1 of your theme. I need to update their entire site (WordPress version, plugins and your theme).
I’m unsure whether any modifications or customisations have been done to the theme files and I’m therefore wondering if it’s possible to get an original copy of version 1.1 of your theme so I can compare the original theme with their own version of your theme in order to single out any customisations that may have been done. Can you supply an original copy of your version 1.1 theme?
Also, could you please confirm if there will be any general issues in updating from version 1.1 of your theme to the latest version?
