And is this possible that I can add only the graphical contents to my resume and remove the text. Like attached.
It designed like widgets for the resume items so if you disable resume items (text) it will not be displayed this way. Will be shown a blanc section in the left and graphical content in the right section of the page.
Hi,
I would like to know if there is an option that I can add one more section before the Contact or after the Portfolio section.
Thanks.
Hi! Sorry there is no such ability
I am also having the problem with the section titles.
Can you please email me a fix/solution.
jwhburns@gmail.comThank you
Hi! The fix is implemented in the latest theme version.
I’ve downloaded the latest theme – I.E. I purchased it today still not working?
Hi! Hotfix released today, the version is still 1.4.
Future option… Would also be great to be able to only have the download CV button and not the print button. Really awesome theme though! Amazing job!
ah… and the obvious question… how can I deactivate the print option with the current 1.4 version while keeping the download button?
For the moment found a way around it by deleting the print box from the template file.
Hi! Yep, this is correct solution!
Sorry for the amount of questions… just trying to get a site up asap….
Is there any way to have toggles/accordions closed initially?
Cheers
Hi! You need to add peremeter [initial=’0’]. There was an issue with it, but now it fixed in the latest version.
Same here… got what I think is the latest version installed 1.4.0 and this also is not working.
Hi! Hotfix released today, the version is still 1.4.1
Hi!, So I’m using this line [accordion style=’1’ initial=’0’] and still the accordions are open when I load the page…. any suggestions?
And I updated to 1.4.1!
Maybe something was missed with correcting this. Just clicked the print button and now in the print version (guess the print template) the accordions are collapsed, would make sense to not have them collapsed here I think….. but on the site I can still not get them collapsed.
[accordion style=’1’ initial=’999’].It will works.
Doesn’t work
, also tried it in different browsers, but no luck.
Hi! Please try to use toggles shortcode it looks almost the same way but works correct with ’initial=’999’’
okay, works with the toggles, will this be corrected for the next update?
Hi! Yes!
Another thing… On the profile page is shows in the name on the right “Last Name First Name” any way to change this around?
Hi! Do you want to change text position or ‘last name’ and ‘first name’ sequence?
Would like it to be First name Last Name.. sequence
In template-resume.php in the class profile_row make such changes:
<span class="th"><?php _e('Name', 'wpspace'); ?>:</span><span class="td"><?php echo $user_firstname.' '.$user_lastname; ?></span>
So, in the right section of profile will be displayed your firstname than lastname.
Thx, that worked on the 1.4.0, did you change it to standard on the 1.4.1?
Hi! Was not changed in the version 1.4.1. Most of the custmers prefer current first name and last name positions.
Hi, Also having a blank page in “Section Titles” Can you post the link to the file or let us know how to solve it.
Thx
Hi! The fix is implemented in the latest theme version.
I just purchased it yesterday and downloaded… guess it should be the latest theme version, and I still have a blank page.
Hi! Hotfix released today, the version is still 1.4.1
Great design! I’m thinking about purchasing this theme. Can we make the items in the profile and Section titles translatable by WPML? It’s so important to have an international personal show if we are talking about focusing on creating a “professional” personal resume here. And maybe it’s better to change the auto-hide BLOG icon to “always appear” and write the word vertically. Because it’s easy to ignore that we not only have an awesome resume but also a blog.
Thanks! We support localization for this theme and in this case it can be translated. The pencil icon can be change but the word BLOG is to long to be displayed and also the button behavior can be changed.
Translatable, i didn’t mean use one language. It’s easy to translate a plugin into another language. What I mean is multi language. For example, I should type the description and name in the profile setting in your theme option. Can I switch these items between different languages by WPML?
I think these items probably can’t be translated by translating the strings. ‘Cause like the address I type in the theme option may not be found by wpml-string-translation.
Yep, we do not support multi languages and do not recomment our customers any plugins.
Hi! I also have the same problem where I can see the ‘Section Titles’ blank.
Also wnted to Know how do you change the colour of the ‘Resume Entries icons. Mine by default are coming black. & white. While in your demo, they are blue. Black is looking flat & merging with background. Would I have to get into the CSS directly?
The site is http://dhaleta.hillbeat.in
Thanks for your help in advance.
Cheers! Surender
Figured out the colours. They need to be changed in the Resume Categories.
That leaves with the Section Titles being blank
For shortcode ‘toggles’, the documentation says: “Comparing to the “accordion” you can close all the blocks or open more than one”. How do I keep the all the toggles closed. I have tried initial=’0’ and initial=’none’. Both aren’t working. Removing initial also keeps the first block open.
Hi! Email with issue solution was send.
Hi! I did not get any mail. I checked in spam also.
Your email is dhaleta@gmail.com?
Yes. That’s my id. I have checked it again and spam too. Didn’t receive it. Please can you send it again.
This is really weird, coz this is email is marked as ‘sent’ here on my end. I’ve sent it once again though. Please, check
Hey thanks. Got it now. Have replaced it and it’s working.
Thanks. Also, tell me if there is any way I can keep the accordions all collapsed. I tried using the active=false in the shortcode but that’s not working.
Hi! Sorry this is known issue, will be fixed in the next update.
Cool. Thanks.
Hi! Is there a why since i see Theme Options > Sections Tiles blank?
Thanks in advance for your reply.
Hi! Please provide your email and we will send you the file that is needed for issue resolution.
alessandro[.]marengo[@]gmail[.]com Many thanks for your support in advance!
Hi! The hotfix was implemented in the latest version. Please check if your theme version is up-to-date.
Yeah! Now it rocks dude! Thz
Hi, I have another issue. The profile section is a hard-coded style set at 135px. I would this limited removed (I actually need a 335px wide profile title). How can I do this?
Thanks – Mark
Hi! To resolve both issues with ‘blockquote’ and profile section we also need your ftp access.
sent. Thanks
Great, I can see it’s now been sorted. Thanks for that
Hi. I’m having a problem with a resume item. I am using them to display a client testimonial quote – no other text – just a blockquote. The blockquote width is set at 38%, and I have removed this to 90% – which fits nicely – but now the resume headings are not displaying; only the first one. What do I need to change to get all the headings displayed?
This comment has also been emailed to wpspacetemplates@gmail.com
Thanks – Mark
Hey, I’ve tried to hide the profile from the start page by setting the radiobutton to “no” for the “profile enable”-option in the profile options menu. I can’t see any difference on the main page though. Of course I hit save all options before I refreshed the page. Any thoughts?
Hi! Please email us with your credentials and we will investigate if this is an issue or some settings are incorrect.
I was wondering if it was possible to add 2014 in the ‘to’ field while adding items to the resume. I mean its helpful while putting down resume entries for education. 2013-Present for education does not sound right.
Thanks!
Hi! Great idea! Will add the update in next release!
Hi, I have the latest version of this theme, but the contact form does not seem to work for me. It can detect when a field is empty, but once everything is valid, nothing happens when you click “submit”
Hi! Email us with access to your site. We will investigate the issue.
For the resume items, how do I manually rank them or assign ranks?
You can use the field ‘Order’ on the page where you create caegories. The less the number specified, the higher position of the category in the Resume section.
ErikManger, when you are in the add new post screen, you should see icons over the text editor. The 12th icon is ‘more’. Wherever in the post you want to add the Read More button, just click on the ‘more’ icon and it will add the required short code.
Thanks a lot!
Just a problem with the posts dates on single.php: the post date is always the Jan 01. On template-blog.php is the righte date shown. Any suggestions?
We have tested the theme on our server and didn’t detect the bug you described. Please, make sure that the Time zone you specified in WP settings is correct
jacob, u have to add a Page names Blog and set the Template as a blog template. Then u have the Button in the right top-corner.
Pages -> Create New -> Name it “Blog” – on the Right side choose “Template Blog” -> Save
thanks a lot!
