Hi there i have a problem I don’t know is a small issue or big
If I put the all dashboard in to the form tag is not working properly in chrome but is working fine with IE and firefox
In chrome after loading the page when i click the setting icon in the dashboard box there is a popup is coming when i close the popup then all menus are and the theme is working properly
if you are not clear please let me know i will give you a recorded video what is happening

Ignoring any comments that you may wish to make about the OS or device, I have a Nokia 920 here running windows 8 to test with and when viewing the live preview site in IE on that device it is not showing responsively, what I think is being seen is the desktop view scrunched up..
is this a known issue? thanks..
Hi stevechurcher, we haven’t tested the theme on any Windows Phone yet, we’re trying to fix all the bugs on all browsers in the upcoming update, thank you for reporting this.

Great job. However, i don’t like the dropdown menu when in responsive view for the frontend theme. That isn’t modern enough and I believe you know it. Can we have the admin type of menu when in responsive mode.

We are going through the Neon and find the CSS issues, mostly that will be fixed are the the issues with RTL and Right sidebar, but also for other pages.
You’ll get notified via email when the update is ready, hopefully later this week it will be released.

Hi relristein, to change the color of the skin you need just to include the i.e. skin-blue.css into the header of any template, also we’re working to fix the issues on IE8 and IE9 as we have some bugs on these browsers.

What’s the difference in the update you released today 2/13/2014 vs the other day? The change log wasn’t updated.. is it just the Firefox fix? I did notice in the update the one timeline styles didn’t parse correctly (in Chrome)..

The update released today contains some “missing” files that we have forgotten in v1.5 so today we have packed-up everything and so now the Neon is complete I guess.
data/ folder is added (wasn’t in v1.5) Timeline and forms now look good.

Hi i just found some issues with the theme under Firefox: color picker dosen’t work, time picker dosen’t work, input spinner dosen’t work, date picker dosen’t appear right, tags input dosen’t work correctly, jasny file input dosen’t render correctly.

Hi, excellent work done, on http://themes.laborator.co/neon/forms/advanced/ works everything great, but once downloaded, there are some issues with the forms such as missing css and js for date, time and missing “data” folder. I hope you guys could fix that fast.

Hi cloud9, to change the skin CSS go to this path neon/assets/css/skins and select the CSS file you included e.g. blue.css, we haven’t written comments in the CSS for now as we have not mentioned to create more custom skins for now.

Yes, you must include the skin you want in each page. There is also other alternative, to copy the CSS of your preferred skin and put somewhere where you always include, its the same.

Hi.
Neon is awesome! But there few things that you might improve, to make integration less painful (and it bit painful right now).
First of all, I think, you should not change anything from bootstrap, and even avoid to bundling bootstrap with Neon. This will simplify integration of Neon into existent projects, where bootstrap is already bundled, a lot. And this will force you not to make any changes to bootstrap code (if any). And it will be much easier to track changes in Neon itself, when updated are released.
Secondly, I suggest to specify dependencies between Neon and Bootstrap components. Right now it’s very hard to disable BS components, since I can’t predict what can break Neon.
Lastly, it will be very helpful to see JS dependencies as well. Right now, there 13 megs of JS crap bundled, and it’s as well, really hard to remove unused libraries.
Bootstrap allows developers to pick only what they want, so I hope you will focus on providing same level of experience in next versions.

Firstly thanks for your compliments and critique. We always try to bring the new updates with better approach on Development and Design.
So in the 1.5 and above, we have separated the files and categorize them in 4 files:
bootstrap.css // (boostrap 3.1) neon-core.css // Main CSS of the Neon neon-theme.css // Styling of pages neon-forms.css // When you use forms neon-rtl.css // optional
So each of these files can be still customized what to contain, please head to assets/css/less-separated/
And open the file you want to customize, then just remove the ”@import” file that you dont need, then re-compile the file with any LESS compiler.
For example if you don’t want to use i.e. progress bars and group lists, delete these lines:
@import "../bs-less/list-group.less"; @import "../bs-less/progress-bars.less";
Then re-compile the file and place to assets/css/ folder with the same name (.css extension)
Also, JavaScripts libraries are used as whole, when we have included in the theme, it doesn’t mean that a folder with 1.5mb files will be entirely included in the theme, but only the required files to make the plugin work.

Hello, Can you give me the steps required for me to make my own color theme?
Hi sartis, to create your own skin follow these steps, go to neon/assets/css/skins and copy one of the current skin files i.e. blue.css, rename it to your custom skin and start editing it, then include it to your .html file. If you know LESS well you can easily create your custom skin with only a line of code by editing the .less file i.e. blue.less.
