Hi there, great theme!
Just a question…. When I create a new category, for instance called ‘Releases’, then the category main page has as title (above the breadcrumbs): ‘Categories’ in a real large font.
I’d prefer it if it actually displayed ‘Releases’ instead. Is there a way to change this?
Ah and another question: How do I change the Read More button so that it displays a different text?

1. Music page
- Add some items via Music Manager (covers, mp3…)
- Create new page and select ‘Music’ template in page attributes
- Save
- On this page select your music category or select ‘all’
- Save
- Add this page to your menu
- Done
2. Incoming Events
- Add new category e.g. ‘upcoming events’ and create some posts. You can also add images thumbs in ‘Post thumnail’ box.
- Go to – Pendulum -> General Settings -> Home page -> Recent Posts Category nad select your category
3. Contact Form

Okay…another question. How do I get my music page to look like your music page? Where, and how, do I upload the mp3 files?
Are the players part of the template? I’m just a little confused on this aspect of the theme…which rocks, by the way!

Alright I replaced this code in the portfolio.php ->

with the code you gave me ->
<?php echo do_shortcode($r_text_box); ?>
and what it did is it took the home page “About me” section and put it for the caption on all of the portfolio items. ( I changed it back for the sake of the website)

I’m trying to add a star rating system for each individual portfolio piece and the star rating plugin wants me to insert a shortcode where the rating would be. But instead of showing the stars it shows the shortcode in the caption….

Portfolio Manager (not in Portfolio 2 template) allows for using HTML tags e.g. try to use this code:
<a href="#">Themeforest</a>
You can also use shortcodes, you must only open a file ‘portfolio.php’ and to replace:
<?php echo $value['caption']; ?>
on this:
<?php echo do_shortcode($r_text_box); ?>
Loaded two items in the “Home Page Slider” via the “R-Panel 1.0” and they are not showing up on the live site. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Yes, there is such possibility, you can use HTML tags. you can also use in this box – SHORTCODES (in item FAQ is written as it to do)

The portfolio manager doesn’t display the pictures I’m uploading anymore. The first ones appear, the newest ones only who an empty frame. I have tried uploading the pictures from the portfolio manager, and I have tried placing the picture through ftp and using the pics’ url… neither of them work…
any idea how to fix this?

I’m almost done building my site, but I just realized by testing different screen resolutions that my front page comes out too big on a 1024×768 screen… while as yours fit perfectly. I didn’t change anything in the front page sizing… any idea how I can fix that?

Seems a little odd you took the time to answer everyone elses question and completely skipped my on top… Here is the question again…
“I re-sized the slider to a smaller width. The template is automatically resizing/cropping my images to the original slider size. Where do I need to go to change the dimensions of the sides its resizing it to?”
Btw. Do you have any trick for the mp3 upload because my bandwith is going through the roof!!!
