Hi! It’s a great theme! Thanks! A simple question… It’s possible stop the full slider-image at the last one? I mean… at last full slide don’t return to the first.. just stop? Thanks and awesome work!
Hey there, and thank you for your purchase and kind words. Yes, you can easily change that by going to custom.js and locating the following code, I suggest using CTRL + F(win) or CMD + F (mac) to locate it
$(”.full-slider”)
After locating this code, add the following property above slideSpeed to it, exactly as you see it
rewindNav:false,
This will make it stop when it hits the last slide! Thank you again for your purchase and kind words!
Thanks! Works perfectly!!!!
Keep it up! and
my regards!
Perfect! Glad to hear that! Please don’t forget to rate 5 stars! Cheers!
I love Gliders! Are you going to make a Gliders Wordpress version with rounded gallery like this?
Hey Alex. At the moment, we’ve had a loss in our family, so all plans for this are postponed… We don’t have an exact timeline of when or if we’ll convert it to WordPress…. I’m sorry I can’t give your more precise information …
Hi. Great work guys, a well thought out template. Have noticed a small issue, on smaller mobile screens i’d like to run by you, and possibly get some pointers maybe on how to resolve this. Specifically when testing on a sony ericsson x10i 480*854, the .header seems to stay fixed and main content is not pushed along by either drawer. Both drawers slide in ok, but under the header. Also the drawers and page content don’t scroll vertically at all.
The behaviour described above can also be experienced by scanning the qr-code “Preview Gliders from your Mobile” and viewing the template returned in the devices browser. Android 2.3.3
Any advise would be greatly appreciated! Kind Regards!
Hey there! Thank you for the immensely kind words, we truly appreciate them and we’re glad you love our item! After reading through your comment at first I was shocked to see this behavior but then I saw that you are running Android 2.3.3. First of all, that version of Android is no longer supported by Android, and secondly, although we do support it, we do so for the things it’s not limited to. Android 2.3.3 does not support scrolling divs and fixed scrolling elements, which basically means the sidebar won’t work properly and neither will the header ( the compatibility of the item is mentioned at the bottom of the item page ) but on the other side, you can work with it without issues and not worry about this, because Android 2.3.3, 2.3.6, 3.0 are all very very close to extinction. All Android devices starting last year come out with 4.3 preinstalled, and the marketshare for 2.3.3 is less than 1%, so you won’t be losing any visitors or if you will, it will be too few to matter and most likely they’ll upgrade their OS or Phone soon, since there are a tone of cheap Androids that run 4.4 nowadays! Cheers!
Hello Great Theme, Question is this phonegap friendly?
Hey there! Thank you for your kind words. This is a HTML template, not a theme, and regarding your question, this is the official F.A.Q page of PhoneGap, and according to it, it’s compatible!
Hi. Looks great. 2 questions.
1. With the IOS homepage icon can this happen with android as well?
2. Is the login page fully functional?
Hey there! Thank you for the compliments, we appreciate them. Now, to answer your questions. Regarding the iOS Homepage icon. This can happen on Androids but only when using Google Chrome. If you bookmark the page to the homepage of your Android device using Google Chrome, then yes, the icon will appear, if you use the native browser, you’ll get a ribbon icon ( the os default icon ). Basically this system was implemented for iOS devices, hence the meta tag apple-touch-icon that generates the icon, but apparently from testing on our devices, it works on Androids as well for Chrome. Regarding your second question, the login page is only a template, meaning it’s not connected to PHP files so it does not have the functionality of a login page, only the design, if, however you implement the proper PHP to the fields and it will work, at the moment it’s just design/code(template). Let me know if I may assist you with anything else! And thank you again for your compliments and interest!
Thanks for the fast reply. So with the bookmark I just tried it on Google Chrome and it didn’t work. And on a iPhone. Do I need to do something first?
Well, we can’t tell you for sure on what versions of Android this works on, since, we only discovered this functionality about a month ago. We were not aware Android was allowed to use the meta tag apple-touch-icon, but, what we can show you is a video of one of our Android Phones displaying this functionality using Google Chrome, on the exact item presented here. The same item you have downloaded. This video is made on a HTC One M8 Android 4.4.4 , but we’ve tested on M7, S3, S4, S5, iPhone 5, 5S, 6 Plus and it works like a charm. On iDevices the functionality comes native and is limited to the Safari browser only. These are Apple set restrictions and we can’t override them unfortunately.
hi, i like this template very much and would like to know if it is possible to have a mobile version and a desktop version of my website? In other words is it possible to have this template open on any mobile devices and my normal website on desktop PC’s? regards gustav
Yes, of course. We have a redirect script dedicated for mobiles and tablets, we’ll provide that to you free of charge if you need it! It will detect if your user is browsing from a mobile and/or tablet, and redirect users accordingly. Desktops will show the desktop page.
