Hi jrbecart, sorry for the delay. In the map section , we hide control navigation on the map for the design purpose. If you want to show this you need to remove the line below from style.css. cheers UOU

Hi Guys, UOU… sorry to hear about the soft reject.. but on the other hand that what happens to nearly 9 out of 10 new themes.. and thats a good thing.. because it ensures that customer in the end will recieve a great working theme at a high standard.. I know you will do the necessary adjustments.. and keep fingers cross. saludos
well it’s hard on envato to get the theme approved on first shot, the guidelines are always more and more strict but at least it guarantees a certain level of quality as you mentioned above,

As per jacob1985s question on username/URL, that would be a bad idea for your theme and customers. Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Instagram, etc can have unique addresses for business pages because they are well known and have a high PR.
We are just starting out… You want to tell Google what your directory is about. What looks better?
www.domain.com/business www.domain.com/restaurants/business www.domain.com/restaurants/Italian/business
Option #3 tells and shows both Google and search users that “business” is an Italian restaurant… A URL with just the name serves no informative purpose.
I’ve been involved with “SEO” and marketing for over 15yrs. Most theme developers and purchasers fail to realize the main objective of search engines – Find exactly what the person is searching for. Your site has to be well coded, organized and helpful sites rank on first on SERPS right away.
Lastly, not sure why a live demo is being shared privately to some members, while others have to wait for it to be for sale… Why not post a link?

Not sure what you mean by that but on-page SEO is extremely important, especially for us child-theme users since all these pages will most likely be changed for v2.
What wasn’t added to the first release? Schema tags? Open graph tags? Proper h1 and sectional title tags? Listing tags? Category placement? Not much that could be missing to not include.
