If you have saved your template on the demo site, you just export it to a .variant file and when you purchase your copy (then download it from Themeforest) you import your layout into Variant so all your designs come across. When you have finished the design and are ready to publish, you export to an HTML file. Once you have exported the final page to an HTML file, you then cannot re-import to Variant – so save to .variant often and keep a hold of your .variant files to re-import later if you need to make changes.

If you want the form to function as a contact form, you put SMTP server settings in the provided mail.php file so that your server can send you an email when the user clicks submit.

If you want the form to function as a newsletter signup, you use Variant to embed the contact form code from Mail Chimp or Campaign Monitor and the user is added to your list when they click submit.

1: Sorry, RTL is not supported at this time. 2: Change email setting in Variant (embed Mail Chimp form), in HTML after Variant, or if the form is to be used as an email form, edit mail.php in mail folder. 3: HTML can not be imported back into Variant after you get output edit it.

Is it possible to control the text boxes alignment as i do see a text box that is right aligned as well as cntered aligned text boxes?

Each box is styled individually in Launchkit. You cannot change the alignment in Variant, but you can alter these in the HTML afterwards using Bootstrap classes to control alignment.

Hi, if you want to customise, you must do what you can within Variant, then do the rest of the customisation in HTML with a text editor.

Hey there Javier, You could add Font Awesome is the standard way (as per the font awesome website: include the css, font files etc). But I’m afraid you can’t add additional icon packs to the builder as yet.

Using Mailchimp you can customise the ‘Back To Website’ button that appears after the user has subscribed – you could direct them to a separate referral page you have created.

Alternatively you could use Javascript to direct them off to another page as well as processing their email submission.

Hi, yes it would be great to have an email template to go with Launchkit (we will look into this) but no, the html from Variant cannot be used in an email at this time.

To create a colour scheme, you take a new copy of the .less file (theme.less) and replace the appropriate colour variable at the top of the file (where it is commented). Then compile the new .less file into CSS using either a program on your mac/pc or an online compiler. This is as easy as selecting/uploading the appropriate file and hitting ‘compile’. The resulting css file becomes your theme.css ( you need to rename it to theme.css) and it will have your desired colours throughout.

The beauty of Less in this instance is that all the colours in the scheme are based on one colour, lightened or darkened to suit. The theme will look great if you just use your main corporate colour.

You can open the builder.html file and modify the HTML blocks as you see fit. Then they’ll take effect in the builder Just a note though that when we update the template with new blocks, you would need to augment your builder.html file manually to include the new blocks or you would have to overwrite it with the new one.

Yes the builder comes packaged with each template. Once you have purchased, you open the builder from the variant folder in the download package. Then you can build your pages using the Launchkit blocks.

Each template is separate and works independently of one another. You can’t ‘mix and match’ blocks from other templates to work with Launchkit (for example, you can’t import blocks from Pivot and have them work in Launchkit – they are separate products)

All the demo pages for Launchkit were made inside Variant.

I have two sliders on the page but the one at the top only has one image and doesn’t need to slide. The second slider further down the page is the one I would like to advance with keyboard scrolling.
