Hi There, love the theme.
I’m having some issues with the search box (on top). The live search results are awesome, but i can’t seem to click on them (but right click open in new window works fine). I’m not sure if its a plugin compatibility or jquery conflict issue.

This error is caused from Disqus plugin (that not check the value in their code as well). You may disable this plugin or wait Disqus to solve this issue.
I was wondering if your company does any sort of custom work along with your themes? The reason being is I am looking to purchase a theme, but need to have a form page created so that both users and visitors to the site can submit news to us. Based on your examples I believe I can achieve more or less everything else I require, although I may also need some additional tweaking, as I am not a coder, and have zero CSS knowledge.

1. You can use a third-party plugin to insert ads at the position. Here is some interesting plugin https://wordpress.org/plugins/ad-inserter/
2. This theme has a Header Ads option and placeholder for ads under post content (Custom Section for Post Footer). For other ads position, Please use a third-party plugin.
I cant figure out how to download the updated theme and install it without losing everything. Why does it not just update like other wropdress themese?

I just purchased the theme. There seems to be an issue on my site with the widget “popular/recent/comments”—i have it on the homepage middle latest posts section right sidebar.. could you help me fix it so it looks/works better?

Nevermind I think I fixed it when I updated the featured image sizes to the recommended dimensions.

Theme not working – fresh wordpress 4.1.1 install on a Debian 7 host, using nginx 1.7.10 and php 5.6.6.
Only Akismet and Wordpress Importer and Sprout plugins installed.
When activating Sprout as the theme, attempts to access the home page result in a timeout, and this message in my php-fpm slow log:

Attempting to access Categories or Tags subsection of Posts when the Sprout Theme Options plugin is activated results in a blank screen and the following error in php-fpm error log:

Remove Sprout theme and plugins and everything is fine – tried w/ other third party themes and plugins and no problems.
Very frustrated – tried to use theme on an existing install and had the same problem, so went back and did a fresh install of everything, with default configuration files etc. Still no luck.

1. For timeout issue, I think the option panel tried to update a google font list. Please make sure your server is allow a php script to connect to other server. Otherwise, Please install this plugin https://wordpress.org/plugins/redux-framework/ and check the problem again.
2. For error issue, I’m very wondering about this error because the function filter_var() is a php’s standard function and it’s not deprecated in PHP 5.6.6, Thus this issue would not be occurred on a standard php version. Please make sure the php is a standard version.

2 was the key – compilation options are the culprit – missing—enable-json and—enable-filter (because of—disable-all)

Hi! The theme currently does not show the author name and the url of the people commenting, is this a bug? If it is not abug, how can I modify the comments.php so that the theme shows the name ( with the website linked to the name ) in the comments section

For author info, Just add a widget ‘SPROUT: Author’ into your sidebar. Also, You need to setup a gravatar for author’s photo or use this plugin https://wordpress.org/plugins/simple-local-avatars/ to upload a local photo.
