I’m considering purchasing, but I noticed when I look at the demo on my phone the hamburger menu doesn’t seem to be working very well. It only shows two bars and takes a few clicks to get the menu to actually appear. Are you able to see the same error or able to fix the issue?

The service you order from AWS needs to be PHP capable in order to handle the mailing function of the contact form. Other than that, Launchkiit is an HTML template that will run on most any web server. Variant is not intended to be hosted online, and is best run from your local machine

thank you for the landing page. I like the design options available however, i would like to be able to use a youtube video instead of having to upload a video to the server. I created an account on ticksy, but do not see where I select to open a new ticket, probably a chrome glitch or something, but can you just provide me with the instructions here?

Hi, The header with Video section is only set up to handle local video (using play/pause events in conjunction with hiding/showing the modal box) and you could embed a youtube/vimeo iframe but this would need to be done outside of Variant.
I suggest using one of the provided youtube /vimeo sections.

You can’t customize forms in the builder yet – this feature isn’t complete. So to add inputs and change ‘name’ values etc. you will need to do that in the output HTML.

Yes, the builder is included in the download package and intended to be run locally on your machine for content editing.

Yes, if you want to make a single page with a single full-screen section, just add that element only, and it will take up the full screen in the resulting HTML page.

Contact forms—please let people know the contact forms do not work out of the box. The page builder is awesome, but with the forms not working it defeats most of the purpose. Can you please include more info i.e. since the email password is required is this encrypted and safe? Is there any easier way to make the forms work? This is an easy 5 star product if the contact forms could be easily set up or if there were detailed videos and instructions for the major hosts.

Thanks for your reply. I’ve taken the “Classic” form code Mailchimp has given me… and pasted it where I see the “envelope” in the builder.html.. but when I upload it to my home.html <iframe srcdoc=”MAILCHIMP CODE GOES HERE” class=”mail-list-form”>
It still is not working? I see a box underneath the form on my site. Please see attached image. Also, when I try to put my name and email in the form on my site…it gives me a “red box” ? I don’t get any “Thank you message”

As this is an HTML template – you can create your HTML pages in Variant (or in a text editor, whichever you prefer), then upload the HTML files along with the css,js,img folders to your host. You wont need to install anything on your server, just drop all the files in through an FTP client
Sorry… I don´t understand. I copy by FTP the launchkit folder, but after this I open the wordpress panel and I don´t find it. Sorry… Is there a video which explain how to do? Thank you very much.
Ah right – this is an HTML template, not a WordPress theme. The WordPress version of Launchkit will be available mid-april.
If you’d like a refund you’ll need to contact Envato as they handle the payment for templates.

Controls the logo size with this:
.nav-1 .logo{ max-height: ##px; } perhaps start with 48px and increase from there. Place this rule in your custom.css file

How do I keep the styling when I upload to my hosting via FTP? I uploaded the index.html and img folder.. but the structure is not there? Can you tell me what folders and files should be uploaded to my root directory after I have modified the builder.html with my information and pictures?
I see my text and images…but the style is not there. There is no frame.
Also, when I click “Get HTML” I don’t see “Download HTML File” using Safari?
