Hello I bought the Agora template and I am stating to configure it to my needs. As I told you before buying it, I am not an expert on webdesing, but I can manage myself using Dreamweaver and Photoshop CS6 .
Therefore I have a few first questions for you:
0-For these types of questions, do you prefer that I post them here or do you prefer that I send you on your owm e-mail? Please inform your e-mail if it is the case.
1-I need more space to accommodate my company logo in all pages (height and length). Where I can define its position and size? Or, how can I give more room in the layout for it?
2-On the page Collections>Fullscreen Gallery, how can I move the player buttons further to the left, because they are on top/bottom of my company’s logo, that is lengthier than Agora’s logo?
3-On the same page, how can I change the option to start without auto play (template’s default)? Which is the name of this .js palyer?
4-On the same page, supposing that I only want to show one image, how can I completely eliminate the player (buttons/functions/thumbnails)?
5-On the Collections menu, I want to create three different links for different grid galleries, i.e., Spring/Summer 2012, Spring/Summer 2013 and Fall/Winter 2013, each with its own images. How can I do it?
6-The same questions to create different galleries/template pages on any other menu itens?
7-Where and How I should configure the contact form parameters to my webserver specifications?
8-Since I do not have yet presence on Facebook and Twitter, where and how can I eliminate those functions/labels, plus RRS feeds, from the template, and return them individually, as I need?

Hi Svetlana. Problem with IE8 is that is does not accept Touch events, and i added touch feature to allow swipe usage on tablets. Solution for IE8 is easy, remove this line of code in your html (line 27):
<script type="text/javascript" src="js/jquery.touchwipe.js"></script>And also remove the swipe reference on the script, on line 74:
wipe: true,

Hi. Well, is hard to give you an exact answer, as depends on each person to find edit html/css easy or difficult, but i think is doable with a bit of patience and the right tools (like a good code editor, there are some great free programs for that). The pack comes with good documentation that may help you on the process. Anyway, i can always give you further assistance if needed.
About your concrete questions, all text are edited right in the html files, while the colors are located in an unique CSS file.

Hi for some reason when I uploaded the website, the images on the gallery page never load, for the images to load ill have to refresh the page.. any ideas please, because i cant find the solution to this problem. Thanks, Matthew

I’ve tried many ways to install this theme and no luck getting it to work: it doesn’t upload using the wordpress upload feature and if I upload it using FTP , this is the error message I get: Broken Themes The following themes are installed but incomplete. Themes must have a stylesheet and a template. Name Description agora_html5_template Stylesheet is missing. Can you please advise? Thank-you, Helen
Hi Helen. I’m afraid this is not a Wordpress theme, but a standalone HTML template, so this can’t be installed in WP. Not sure if you can contact support. Just in case i can help to prevent the same mistake on other users, why did you think this was a WP theme? If falls in another category.

How can i add image thumbnail in that area?
Hi. Ok, i get it. You need to create a new DIV inside the team (id) DIV in the html. Add it the class “team-thumbs”, and place inside your thumbs (use ul / li structure). Then, in the styles.css file, add the following:
#team .team-thumbs {
position: absolute;
left: 340px;
top: 370px;
}
It will place your new DIV exactly where you want it. Then you would just need to style your thumbs position, etc.

Hi. You would need to copy&paste from the slider page (about events) to your desired page, but don’t forget to also copy all the scripts needed for the slider (placed inside the < HEAD > tag. Apart from setting up the CSS position for that new element inside about company references, you don’t need anything more.

hi, thanks for the tips, i knew what went wrong also I placed the .htaccess in subfolder instead of root and regarding the missing map – i’ve forgotten to place the custom javascript.

Hi. Strange, i sent it to you yesterday. Anyway, the solution was easy, while moving to php you missed all the html doc type and head tag within all the script on your collections page and contact. No scripts were being loaded, so elements appears right after another as simple DOM elements.
