You need to use Developer Tools of your browser to add/remove CSS styles. Then, write them by Appearance / Customize / Additional CSS.

I’m using the free version but it doesn’t work properly for me (I think). I have the Angora theme. There is no way to add more elements on the main page where I have a video as the background. The elements that I am incorporating appear in the editor, but, when I want to see the preview, I only see the video as a wallpaper. Nothing else.

Secondly I’m having trouble adding blog style content on the main page. I’ve selected a static page on the homepage settings menu and specified a page (not post) as the “posts page”. I’m not seeing the page when I scroll down on the main page. I’m guessing I probably over-edited the header-style – image slideshow page excessively and broke something.

Oops. Forgot one more question. Can links be made a different color or underlined so that it’s obvious that they’re links.

You can underline by adding following style into Appearance / Customize / Additional CSS field:

a:hover {
    text-decoration:underline;
}

If you want to change the color you need to open Appearance / Theme Editor. Then, select layout/colors/YOUR_SELECTED_COLOR.css file which can be viewed in Angora / Styling / Color Schema field.

Thanks. I was actually talking about the links in a block of text, but I found that’s easy to change using WPBakery. My last theme assigned a color to the links in blocks of text automatically. That problem is solved.

You can add background color to the menu like below:

}

You can add new created pages by Site Sections.

If I re-import the .json from the installation folder file in Site Sections, will it change any content or changes to the template I’ve already made, or will it just add all of the sections originally included in the package so that I can add text below the image slideshow?

Your tip for the menu background color worked perfectly! I also found that you can make the header partially transparent. In case someone else with limited skills like me is searching for this in the future:

Edit the page home page with WPBakery (in my case the page is Header Style – Image Slideshow). Click on the gear at the top (Page Settings). Then paste the following into the box:

.navbar { background:#000; opacity: 0.8; }

That’ll give you a partially transparent black menu bar and logo on the header.

If you import Site Sections JSON, it’ll change only it.

You could copy CSS into Appearance / Customize / Additional CSS field.

Cool! That worked! Last question I think. Where can I remove the video section from the home screen. The blog posts are now showing up, but under the video section.

You just need to add them by theme options and save. But, social links must be added.

You can edit via “Angora Theme Features” plugin. Open Plugins / Plugin Editor. Select “Angora” from the selectbox. Open shortcodes/class.shortcodes.php. Search for “All” on line .1137. Replace ”*” (Asterix) by the category slag.
