Hi, thinking on purchasing this item, but im confused. Is this just a html stuff or it fully compile-able and makes dll too? If you say it’s .net core this means you had to use some programming language [html, css is not programming langauges], so which one you used? Thanks.

Hi Tommix,

What i mean is it didn’t include any backend logic. It include the view files (.cshtml) with partial view integration and scss compilation.

Best Regards, Sean.

Hi, is the datable be ediable?

Hi Mofoster,

You might need to check their external plugin for editable table.

https://editor.datatables.net/

Best Regards, Sean.

tab menu is displayed ’ } ’ when mouse down to the bottom

Hi Beerbook3,

I have checked the code and the if else statement is correct on my side. @if (ViewData[“AppWithoutContainer”] == null) { ... } else { ... }

Best Regards, Sean.

Hi Beerbook3,

Yeah, i have realise that v1.1 has that missing code. Will release a new version with that fixes soon.

Best Regards, Sean.

Very interesting, this is also quite rare that there is a strong ASP theme.

Would be an easy buy, before that, do you have the

ASP components for things like partials and tag/helpers and color settings

for user dashboard profile.

Is ASP identity integrated here? Are the dependencies/externals Nuget or Libman, so I can pull easily from Visual Studio IDE references?

What about tables/grids so we can save CRUD data easily, is that available here.

Hi Smartgrid,

For your information, there have no backend code included in this template. Which mean the feature like ASP identity is not included in this template as well.

This template do include the main partial component like header, sidebar and footer.

Best Regards, Sean.

Identity is very easy for me I can help you with that, I can do a pull request in a wk. for you, but you would need to put the UI pages.

As far as you have the helper components for the UI, I am not good with front end and need the helpers or view components. Have you seen any help pages on how to do those.

BTW. if you already did those for the menu, its the same for charts, cards, breadcrumbs.

Lastly, in your demo I dont see Isotope toggle size with icon we need that. Again UI is not my forte :)

Hi Smartgrid,

Thank you for your comment and feedback. For those custom requirement, you might need have some knowledge regarding the tag helpers / view components.

p.s UI is already there and what you need to do is convert the UI that you always use into a component to re use it.

Best Regards, Sean.

Can I create a table with a fixed header, but scrollable rows?

Hi Bradleylacroix,

Please note that FixedHeader is not currently compatible with tables that have the scrolling features of DataTables enabled (scrollX / scrollY). You may refer to their official documentation for more information. https://datatables.net/extensions/fixedheader/

Best Regards, Sean.

Hi, as I figured out there is no backend code at all (?) How about the views. Looking at the documentation#filestructure I can’t find what views there are. Do you have components in their own partial view or do you only have one big view for dashboard, one for analytics etc? Are there any shared view for components (display and editortemplates for form controls etc)

HI Jareno,

I didn’t include any backend code for template as it is easier for developer to write their own backend code. Only few structure component view file has been included in this template (header, sidebar, footer).

Best Regards, Sean.

can you send a sample code using json response from webapi and in the dashboard sample template?

Hi Realitytaiwo2,

Unfortunately i can’t provide such example for you right now. You should do some research based on your needs / requirement.

Best Regards, Sean.

Is it C #?

Hi Beerbook3,

Unfortunately this template comes with .NET Core MVC model. If you wish to use C#, you might need to create a new application with c# language and copy over the cshtml files.

Best Regards, Sean.

Hi, I read somewhere that the best way to have a customized sidebar depending on the user role is to load a different sidebar.json file. Can you provide an example of that? Thank you.

Hi Oscarmateu,

Unfortunately i can’t provide the example of customized sidebar as it is depends on how you write the code from the beginning until assign the different user role.

Best Regards, Sean.

Hello,

I would like to purchase this asset but I wonder if there are any backend like Post or update ? if not What do you mean by ASP.NET Core 3.1 MVC ? is this just a .net core 3.1 project with HTML design ?

Hi Jackallft,

Yeah, it didn’t include any backend programming like post or update. This version is to reduce the time for integrating the HTML version into ASP.NET structure with partial view file and file structure setting.

Best Regards, Sean.

Hi,

we are developing an ASP.NET MVC Standard Site (not core), is this template applicable?

Best Regards, Misel

Hi Misel,

Unfortunately ASP.NET MVC has different file structure if compare with .NET Core. You might need to do some minor configuration to switch the file structure from .NET core to MVC file structure.

p.s View files will be the same as the template didn’t include any backend programming logic in Controller / Model files.

Best Regards, Sean.

We are very interested in implementing your theme … is there any trial version to play with ..just to see how much work is there for converting?

Hi Miselgosic,

Unfortunately there have no trial version. You may refer to the online documentation for file structure for this template. https://seantheme.com/asp-studio/documentation/index_asp.html#file-structure

p.s as long as you include the required css / page structure, it should be pretty easy to integrate into your project.

Best Regards, Sean.

it would be useful, if you have also developed a ui design kit in figma, sketch or adobe xd. We as neuradesign.com are available to extend the components and publish everything for free. Thank you info@neuradesign.com

Thank you for your comment and feedback.

In IE11 the date picker is not working, Am I missing any files or setting. Appreciate your help.

Hi linoygeorge,

You might need to check your browser console whether there have any error returned or not.

Best Regards, Sean.

This template has an MVC structure, with its cshtml files? Views and Model folder?

Hi Ytrejoz,

Yeah, it comes with all the cshtml and mvc structure.

Best Regards, Sean.

I am using the html version of the theme, and I put it in Visual studio as I am making a web application, because for some reason the asp version of the theme wont work with my version of visual studio.

But when the theme loads, the progress bar takes a long time and the spinning circle that represents loading does not stop spinning

Hi RohanPetty,

My suggestion is check the browser console whether there have any error returned or not and make sure all the requied css / js file has been included.

Best Regards, Sean.

Got a question about the buttons in table plugins, how to add excel in the place of CSV? Is it possible? I did something like { extend: ‘excel’, className: ‘btn btn-default’ }, not reflecting anything on the page. Thank you.

Hi Linoygeorge,

You may refer to their official documentation for how to add an custom css className or buttons type within the plugins.

https://datatables.net/reference/button/excel

Best Regards, Sean.

Thank you, it works. one file was missing.

Your licensing model seemed ever so slightly confusing. If I have a single project for a client, that the client is paying me money to make for them, I still choose the first licensing model. If I use this for an additional client I have to purchase another license, or if the intent is that my “client” is going to charge someone for the use your content that I need to then pay for the extended license? I’m currently weighing options on purchasing between a few different admin panel designs for .NET core, and yours currently is weighing at the top, but I want to ensure I comply with the licensing model. I do not however have 800$ worth of money in the project to remotely warrant such a fee so if the licensing model doesn’t fit I totally understand. Use case: Client has a need for me to develop some APIs and a web portal to view a dashboard overview of the API data pulled together. I’m deciding on a skin/template to make the admin portal look a little cleaner than otherwise stock or my personal CSS skills. Thanks,

Chris

Hi Chris,

This is the global licensing model defined by Themeforest. Any question or licensing issue you may contact Themeforest support.

You are only required to purchase regular license if it is only for your client to view dashboard overview and some data analytics.

Best Regards, Sean.

hi ,

thanks for the template , please i want to change theme color , could you help please.

Hi Barigo,

You may change the theme color variable via /src/scss/_variables.scss and recompile it by using gulp.

https://seantheme.com/asp-studio/documentation/index_asp.html#gulpCompilation

Best Regards, Sean.

Dear Sean,

Can you please send a sample code snippet of adding the background image to the login page of the asp.net sample. I seem to be stock on this rendering.

Thanks

Hi Realitytaiwo2,

As we have discussed in previous comment, kindly add the following css to the Login.cshtml will do

@section Styles { <style type=”text/css”> .login { background-image: url(—your-image-url-here—); background-attachment: fixed; background-repeat: no-repeat; background-size: cover; background-position: center; } </style> }

Best Regards, Sean.

Thanks, It’s working now

Hi, Sean. I would like to add a background Image to the login form. Please indicate the css tag where this would be changed.

Hi Realitytaiwo2,

You may add the css background image to the .login css class. e.g .login { background-image: url(-your-image-url-here-); background-attachment: fixed; background-repeat: no-repeat; background-size: cover; background-position: center; }

Best Regards, Sean.

Thanks, it worked well on html but couldn’t figure why its not working on asp.net sample. Am using .net core 3.1

Hi Realitytaiwo2,

If you are not using scss in asp.net you might need to replace the app.min.css in wwwroot/css

Best regards, Sean.
