Hello, I bought the template but I have not been able to use it since it is generating an infinite number of errors. First it asked me to install python, then firebase and now the error is that it cannot find the namespace firebase-app.js. How can you help me to get the template running?
Firebase is creating the issue with your node version. If you need firebase then you should downgrade your nodejs version to v12. Otherwise, you need to remove firebase from package.json and you can keep your current node version. I suggest you to use current LTS version which is v14.15.2 Then remove firebase related code (comment out line 1,2,3,32 of firebaseAuthService.js)
Why are you sellling a broken theme? This theme has alot of bugs and does not install correctly with npm
We are updating the template, if you are not happy with the purchase you can request a refund. Thanks

Hello, Please delete everything from app/views folder except “pages” & “sessions”.
and remove all the routes from app/RootRoutes.jsx except pagesRoutes & sessionsRoutes.
sessions is required for signin, signup, forgot & etc. pages folder has BlankPage.jsx which you can use to start building.
Hi,
I have tried to install this layout but get the following error:
./src/reportWebVitals.js Module not found: Can’t resolve ‘web-vitals’ in ‘C:\Users\xxxx\Documents\ReactJSBI\reactjsbi\src’
I deleted the node modules folder and packagelock.json file and tried reinstalling but it still didnt fix the error.
Please could you advise?
Hi, we don’t have ./src/reportWebVitals.js file. did you add that? if yes, you might have forgotten to install web-vitals, run “npm install web-vitals” to install web-vitals.
Are Sketch files included?
Yes, sketch file is included.
Does this work well with Next.js?
Sorry, this template does not have next.js version

Is there a way to not use React context to control the router? I am used to doing it using react-router. any recommendation if I were to convert this? Thanks
We are using react-router. We just passed the routes to layout using react context.
hi is this template build using create react app or react boilerplate?
Sorry for late reply, it created with create react app.

You can use latest stable version.
Hello, I am setting up your Egret UI framework on my project. I have been looking at the files and the purpose of the AuthGuard.jsx component was not clear to me. What is this component doing precisely? Thank you in advance!
It checks if user is authenticate, if not it redirects users to sign in page.
Hi, we purchased the template with one of my team member with the account (emmy9688) and we kept on getting this error during installation, we followed the documentation.

Hello.
Seems like recent react or dependency upgrades is causing the following errors to show on runtime. Would you know what the issue is ?

Thank you
I really don’t like “Redux” at all. this thing can just complication projects.
It completely destroys projects optimization. It can only take more time for the developers.
this can cause other useless files.
If you look closely, you’ll see “Redux” creates branches that are never used much.
This completely limits further development in the future.
i don’t know why some users use redux.
i want to buy this, and i want to remove redux.
The tables have no filtering capability. Yet this is a very important feature in a table. Filtering per column.
I bought the react version of the template. I tried installing it via, ‘npm install’ but getting errors. I’m using node version 14.3.0. I also got error message about Python not installed ? Do I really need Python ?
Thank you.
Python is just for compilation purpose. Please install that.
Hey! Really like the Egret theme. I usually only purchase themes for prototypes, mostly because I find the general code quality to not be at a production level, or because it’s missing key features (like TypeScript).
That said, I really liked how Egret was setup and think with a little work it could be a lot better. I’m interested in updating the theme code to the following:
1. Current best-practices with Function Components and React Hooks 2. Full TypeScript version 3. Redux using the official Redux Toolkit
I think these changes could bring the theme much closer to production-ready use, and I have plenty of time to do it with the quarantine. I really think this would also expand your target base, as a lot of development is switching to TypeScript, and supporting this as an alternative option would be a big win.
Feel free to reach out if you’re interested. I expect I could finish the work in a weekend and would charge a reduced rate of $500, as these features are something I would like to use in my own projects either way.
Thanks, Andrew C.
