Hi Guys great to see that you are back with a new Geodirectory-Theme. have couple of questions: 1) what are you listings? WP posts- WP pages or you own custom pages? 2) is there a way I can add for a listing – multiple locations ? the idea is if there exists lets say a CoffeeHouse chain I can set different locations just with 1 Listing, so by clicking on the listing all the locations will show up on map ? I am have used different Directory themes so far, but now I am using a Plugin which works great so far. But always liked the themes you bulilt. Since I have a new project in the pipeline I might use yours. saludos

1. It’s always a custom post type. (listings).
2. You need to post them each. it’s possible to post the same location (1 location) with multiple listings. but not multiple locations on 1 listing.

Hi! I’d like to use your theme as a software directory, so I don’t actually need the location/geo info. I have some pre-purchase questions, I’d thank you very much for your reply. 1) Is it possible to remove the location field in the search panel? And the keyword field? 2) When looking into a specific business (featured listing), is it possible to delete the big image from the top? 3) Could reviews show only the overall rating and therefore, is it possible to delete the detailed ratings? (services, location…). Are those parameters editable? 4) In the features listing, is it possible to remove the author picture? I’d like to see all the listings with each company’s logo, and once you click in it, to see a normal sized logo, not a big width-sized picture. I don’t know if I made myself clear… 5) In “Explore-All categories”, could the map that appears in the left side be deleted? 6) The search bar next to the logo can be removed too?

2. There is no option for it. you may need to add a custom css to hide.
3. There is also no options for them. you need to add a custom css or customize.
4. hiding authors also need a simple custom css code.
5. Do you mean you want to remove maps? there is no options for it. 6. Are you talking about header search ? it’s an addon plugin. it’s not a default feature. please have a look at our addon plugins information. so basically, there is no this search bar.
Your project is little different from what we have. especially you don’t want to use maps. that means you may need to customize it by yourself. some of them are simple (hiding author). but some of them might take time (hiding maps and google locations)

Hi Javo,
actually what pointed out by argosmedia a few posts above is quite critical.
Filters are useless if you don’t find a solution for what mentioined in his post.
Talking about user experience i would immediately leave a website unable to keep track of the filters selected. In other words conversion rate is close to zero.
Hope you solve this issue.

I am not sure if you understood what I replied. as far as I know it’s not easy to pass all selected conditions to other pages in wordpress / ajax. it maybe not only issue for our theme. new popup pages should be the solution.

I’ve purchased the theme today and installed it. Imported demo content of Demo 2. But the search doesn’t work. When I try to search the demo listings, it takes me to the map page where search results are meant to be shown but I always get No Items Found.

still playing with your demo. The theme is awesome.
In my opinion it lacks of one very important feature: listings sorting in search results.
This is one of the most used functionalities by users. As an example try to think when you search for a restaurant or a hotel. The tendence is to sort them by rating, price, ascendent etc..
Is it in your plans to develop this feature? If yes can you give an ETA?
In particular sorting by reviews is absolutely a must.
This would be very important for me, because i like your theme among the others but what said above is critical for my next project. In case you want to have an example take a look at the theme developed by Webbu,

you can hide google location and choose location taxonomies.

If you use selection filters and end up with a selection of items, you then click on one to view it, and then go back to your selection, all entered filter settings are gone and you see all items again. Not very user friendly.

No, I mean the other filiters. After visiting a particular detail page, and going back for more items, all search settings are gone.
I understand that. however it’s little hard to make it with worpess achieves and ajax filter. maybe it should show with new pages to keep the filter conditions. we will see what we can make it better.

Please remove the current lava directory manager (via ftp) and re-install lava directory manager, the latest version is 1.0.1.1.
