It should be working. We recommend 7.3.x as WordPress also recommends.
I want to purchase this theme. I know nothing about WP directories or how they actually work. (I understand HTML but never worked with WP) I’m assuming as an ADMIN i can add as many business and categories as needed. People would be able to sign-in (log-in) to see see the category/ listings of businesses etc. Javo does that right? Thanks Lasa2

Honestly speaking, you need to know how WordPress works to set it up if you are a very beginner about website. You can have some test on any free themes from the WordPress site. As long as you know some computer skills, it won’t be hard. But you already know html which is great. I was just worried very beginners.
It’s based on live page builder you can make the front end pages easily.
Yes, admin can add many listings, categories, locations … etc. Your users need to sign up to post listings. For normal users, they can have a look the listings.

Hi guys, I am creating a directory with restaurants. How is it possible to add custom fields. I added fields in the Elementor template, but I don’t see where I can find the blanks to fill in the information at the ‘Edit listing’ page. Do I need to buy more plugins/ addons?
Also the ‘working hours’ widget is not working. I see there is also an add-on for that. Is it true that you have to buy it separately?
Is it better to buy Elementor pro? Does this have al the possibilities above or do you have to buy addons separately via https://lava-code.com/directory/shop/

1. We don’t have different dashboards. The different is that logged in and logged out. if you want to hide some menu, you can do by custom css.
2. They are using the same framework. At this moment, Javo V4 is a little more advanced.

Hi. A couple of questions please…
1. Can the directory be non-location based for websites? (If not, do any of your other themes have this?)
2. If BP members “friend” each other, will those connections be viewed on the person’s profile page? I’d like to change “friends” to “partners” and let their partners appear to boost exposure for members.
3. Can you have the directory listings as a premium item? I mean, free accounts only allow members to view and follow someone on BP and premium accounts offer directory listings.

1. If you use list style, the listing is showing. ( not map page.)
2. Do you mean you want to change name “friends” to others? if so, you can do loco translate plugin to change names.
3. We have a payment addon which you can charge posting listings. not view. it’s for amount of posts, posting duration.. etc.
