Whoops! Something went terribly wrong with this theme with the new Firefox update. The header slider turned all black! @An-Themes: Did you notice this problem? Is there a quick fix?
Maybe it has something to do with the black overlay on top of the images? It isn’t transparent anymore….

- The theme has the option to display the popular tags, in order to display the categories will require custom work.

1. Yeah, about that
a) I can’t see “current” and “featured” words in .po file So have I dig in theme files to change the way that theme recognise post for The Next Big Thing nad slider? Or there is simpler way to do it? For me best solution will be that theme put this post basing non on tags but categories (i.e. category “featured” to put smth on silder and category “current” to put on TNBT).
b) I translate few words from your .po file but theme didn’t see it (i.e. I changed “Popular tags” for “Popularne tagi” ang I still have “Popular tags” on website. I use Poedit app to make changes.

Hi! Great theme, I’m using it for my new travel magazine. I have three questions so far:
1) Can post from Next Big Think appears only in that section – but no on the latest artciles section?
2) Is it possible for featured image not to show after post title?
3) Can I put category sections just like latest articles on homepage? I.e. two or three categories sections?

Hello, I have two pre-sales questions:
1.) I really like this theme except for the size of images I see on your demo page under “Latest Articles” and “The Next Big Thing”. The width is OK but the height is too small for me. I’d prefer to have square images instead of rectangular. Is this something I can change in the theme settings or would I need to make changes to the code? If the code, would you provide the instructions if I purchase the theme? Basically I’d like all images on the site (other than ads) to be square instead of rectangular.
2.) Are the images we see under “Latest Articles” and “The Next Big Thing” set as “Featured Images”? Does your theme offer the option of automatically inserting the first image in a post as the Featured Image (or the one that shows up to represent a post)?

1. Square Images: http://anthemes.com/themes/style/mag/masonry/ http://www.dropmocks.com//mHqL1f in other words, you can use the masonry style, and to the functions.php file add 283×283 and you’ll have square images, a very easy and simple change.
2. Yes, the images from “The Next Big Thing” and “Latest Articles” are featured images. Unfortunately the theme doesn’t have that option (automatically inserting the first image in a post as the Featured Image), in order to display an image in “The Next Big Thing” and “Latest Articles” for the home page, you’ll need to upload a featured image.

Thanks for your interest!- Unfortunately will required custom work, or a plugin that can help you to accomplish that, because the theme doesn’t have that option.
- It depends if your old theme is using the same plugin, otherwise you’ll need to use your old plugin for your older articles and the new plugin that comes with my theme for the new articles / reviews you’ll add.

Homepage – can the excerp be turned on, set to display with the titles? 4. Homepage – can the top post slide be disabled/turned off?

Hello, awesome I think I am sold on it and look forward to future updates. For now have to code the excerp in myself as it is fundamental for SEO plus adsense will disable my account if I don’t have it they have in the past saying I need more than images and titles.

Quick question, I have fresh install with 1700 posts imported with a few categories and menu items, can I import the demo data to get the look and feel or is it not advised on pre-populated site? Going to setup child theme as I don’t want to miss out on any updates

It seems you’ve purchased a house “leap of faith”, jk. Is not recommended if you already have old post, the content is only for fresh install, and for the customers that are new with WordPress, also make sure to read the documentation for a configuration of the plugins.
Regarding the adsense, that info is erroneous, you can see top/small sites with only the title without any problem, anyway, you are welcome to make the changes that you think are better for you.

And your response then is as unhelpful as this one yet I am at the same point and astonished at how judgemental your are in email response. If you don’t want to answer questions don’t build themes, simple as that.
“display full content”, THERE IS NO OPTION FOR THAT!!! Elaborate…
If is difficult to understand how a basic theme works, please install the demo content, you create a post, and you add your content, text / images, that my dear friend, si “full content”.
FULL CONTENT, my friend, you are the only one out there who does not know about displaying excerpts on post pages. Your support is absolutely questionable, you are insulting in every way with your responses and I totally regret buying this theme and would warn any other people thinking of buying from you to think twice. If they like taking a beating and sucking up insults while trying to get support, then this is just the dev for you.
Regarding “excerpts” will be added in the next update.
You could have just admitted to it, said hey man to add excerpts it’s not there at the moment won’t display on post pages you have to code it in but I will add it in the next update. Instead you have sent derogatory reposes via email here in your responses. A one liner “full content” does not bring excerpts into context nor the solution you could just have admitted it’s not there and given a bit of guidance. I am not your friend as you referred to me your friend sarcastically above. As you said in your email “I don’t know who are you, and I’m not interested to know who are you and what you do.” Communication is key and you have a lot of potential but you need to communicate better and treat customers with respect.
“I build 4 sites a week”, well said, communication is the key, and the arrogance need to stay home when you are asking basic questions! Support is not mandatory, although most Authors will try and help where they can if they are asked in the proper manner, your attitude and arrogance turns off any author.
You need to treat the author the same thing you want to be treated, you’ve added how great you are, etc, and I’ve just said that can be accomplished with 1 line in single.php, sometimes the truth hurts a lot. I don’t have the time or the patience, to lose my time explained to you a basic thing that will be added in the next update, and more after all this and 1 star.
LOL, clearly your English is not good as you miss read the email completely but that is up to you. If you don’t have time or patience for customers then it’s your choice how you do business. YOU EARNED THE 1 star and lost the other 4 for a list of things including “support”, “customizability”, “flexibility”... for that you get a big fat zero and who could argue that after your responses.
The time is 23:00 Saturday, like you can see I try to make you to understand some points! I have time for my customers that know how to treat an author and how they want to be treated, I’m very friendly, but after a long day, we all can have a bad day too, at the end of the day, we authors are humans too.
I really appreciate the feedback, honestly, sometimes is good sometimes is bad, thanks! Be sure I will take your review / 1 star as a base for upcoming improvements for all my themes, maybe is time to hire someone to deal with support. Sorry for time losing.

I’m one step from buying this beautiful theme. I can somehow live with the fact that it will be almost impossible to implement a background takeover advertisement for lower resolution screens or the fact that I will have to manually implement 728*90 banner at the top (in the header area) BUT the only thing that turns me down is that the sidebar goes below content on a 1024 * 768 resolution monitor. Otherwise, it’s great!
What you see is that the content is more important than the sidebar, so when the screen is to small, the sidebar is moved to the bottom, an then the masonry style is activated for the widgets, that’s how the theme works. The most important part of the theme is the content, so no plans to change it at this moment.
Anyway I’m always glad for any kind of constructive feedback. Be sure you voice has been heard, thanks for your interest.

Can I hope using visual composer with this theme? And how do I need to switch from other theme to this one (there’s a lot of content on my site)?
The theme uses the latest WordPress standards so it should work fine with almost any plugin. Regarding your old blog, just active the theme and that’s it, everything will work smoothly.

And what about things like sources, via, dropcaps, shortcodes in the old theme? Those will not show?
Blocks?! Please take another look at my demo / item description, there isn’t any block there, only the latest articles. About the older theme, if it was created with latest WordPress standards and everything is added to plugins, like shortcodes etc, you’ll need to let the plugins activated, other ways tha shortcodes will not show, obviously.
Any plan on adding those in future? And will I need to edit those shortcodes manually? And I would need some small features from your older themes too

Great theme. Would like to see more top slideshow options. Huge images are not really preferred due to load time and the amount of space they occupy.

The theme has a great speed without using any caching plugin, so don’t need to worry about “big” images, like you can see from the demo, there aren’t so big, anyway, the “big” images are featured posts by the tag “featured” if don’t add any tag with that word, the slider will be disabled.
