The current version of Bootstrap used in Mplify theme is 4.4X and if you want to upgrade it to Bootstrap V5+, it will require lots of changes, as there are many classes and style components updated in Bootstrap 5, compared to Bootstrap 4.

If you still want to update it, you can update to Latest version on Bootstrap 4 without any issues. But, if you will try to update it to Bootstrap 5, it will break at many places and we do not recommend to do it.
