Hi, I am finally getting around to using this theme that I purchased ages ago, and I am attempting to setup my layout files with sass, etc. I am a bit confused as to the sass files that are included in the template. It seems there is a main theme.scss and a theme-admin-extension.scss, but of which include some of the same partials. Is the main theme.scss for the normal porto html template (which I have also purchased), and the theme-admin-extension can be used by itself for the admin theme, or do they both need to be pulled in? If they are both required, why are you duplicated imports in those files. Thanks.
I think I may have figured this out… Correct me if im wrong. but theres 2 files in case we are using both the front end and backend templates, we wont have to overwrite our old stuff?
I found some more issues with this template as I was preparing my workspace. in the _variables file you misspell secondary, with secundary, and you misspell quaternary with quartenary. Also in the sass files, the only skin that is included in the dark skin. Where is the default? – I only want to help make this template better.
Hello,
You are right, theme-admin-extension is used for the integration, please check this topic: http://www.okler.net/forums/topic/how-to-integrate-porto-admin-extension-on-porto/
- I think you are probably using a very old Porto version, please note that you can go to the downloads page and get the latest version. 5.5.0. We fixed the variables name a long time ago

unfortunately no, i just downloaded an up to date version when I noticed these issues.
is there a way i can download the latest versions?
It seems I cant get the latest version anymore? What a shame, I never even used this template, something came up at the time and the project got put on hold.
Hello, I thought you were talking about Porto (front-end), not the admin, I’m sorry about that but.
The names of the variables were also fixed in the admin, but the version was not released yet. Porto Admin latest version is 1.5.4. You can go to the downloads page and get that version.
The information about theme-admin-extension.scss is the same, you will only need that if you want to integrate both themes: http://www.okler.net/forums/topic/how-to-integrate-porto-admin-extension-on-porto/

My support has expired I think and cannot create a ticket on your site. But to clarify, yes I was talking about the admin template, thats why im on the admin comments page
. I will play with it again tonight, and see if when I download the latest version of porto and then just pull in the extension pieces from the admin template, if the problems are fixed. I noticed lots of issues with depracated mixins and wrong syntaxes coming from the use of bourbon, but I will leave the details out until I test with the latest version. Will you please undate the css/js files for the admin template to be up to date with the latest files of the porto frontend template though? That seems like it should be fixed. Thank you.
Hello, Porto Admin will also be updated soon.
Best Regards,
Jonas
Hi, I have read the integration guide for integrating the admin panel into the existing porto site (which i have to do because you havent updated the admins css to match the standard porto template. But looking at this, the entire sass structure has changed from the regular porto template to the admin template. There is no guide showing how to integrate using the sass files. The module structure seems to be completely different from the frontend template to the admin template. There are no more ‘modules’ in the frontend template. Can you please advise how to integrate these 2 with the latest versions of both.
Hello, please note that the themes are not exactly the same, the main idea of the “admin extension” is to bring some of the features from the Admin to the Front-End, integrating perfectly in terms of design and code.
You can see the preview of the available features from the extension in the following links:
(Using latest version of both themes):

That doesnt’t really answer my question for an integration guide using the sass/master files. The structure of the admin-theme css is all placed into modules, and imports some partial called skeleton.. the main frontend theme doesnt have ‘modules’ at all and it doesnt use the ‘skeleton’ either. Id rather not have to import 2 completely different bundles of css into my project when they are essentially the same thing, just as you said – the admin template adds a few new styles and features.. Why cant the template structures follow the same pattern making it easy to integrate?
Hello,
We will consider to improve that in the future, making it easier to use features from Porto Front-End in the admin as well. At the moment, the sass file actually generates a new css file that is the integration file.
If you have any other suggestion for future releases, let us know.
Thanks,
Jonas
We have purchased this wonderful template and are wondering if the Porto Admin template charts will work with the html template.
Hello, thanks for your purchase, you can check the admin charts working in the front-end in this link: http://preview.oklerthemes.com/porto/5.4.0/feature-admin-charts.html

Hello! Do you plan to integrate a decent Calendar and Gantt chart? Mark
Hello, thanks for the interest in our template.
At this moment Porto Admin comes with FullCalendar – https://fullcalendar.io/ – Unfortunately we don’t have Gantt chart available at this moment.
If you have any suggestions of plugins for Porto Admin, just let us know.

Thank you for your quick response!
Hi There,
I already purchased a license for Porto for Magento but now looking to expend.
So I’m looking to buy this Admin and also Porto – Responsive HTML5 Template.
Do they work seamlessly together?
Are they fully compatible?
Does Porto Admin – Responsive HTML5 Template have all the same features and functions as the Metronic – Responsive Admin Dashboard Template which I already own a license for.
Will Metronic – Responsive Admin Dashboard Template work with Porto – Responsive HTML5 Template.
Cheers, Joe
Hello, thanks for the interest in our template.
Please note that Porto Admin is an HTML template and is not integrated with the Magento version.
Porto Admin is a HTML template, it’s not fully functional, the theme comes with HTML/CSS/JS files that allows you to integrate with your own system and create your own solution, with server-side scripting languages such as PHP, Ruby on Rails, dotNet, etc… (That integration is responsibility of the buyer). It works the same way for all template under the HTML category on ThemeForest.
How does the integration with the front-end template works?
Porto Admin is not a CMS/Editor system ready to create new pages on Porto Front-End template. The integration is actually a package of new features from the admin to add in the front-end template, such as advanced tables, advanced forms, etc…
If you have any questions, just let me know.

Hello, thanks for the message.
Porto does not comes with anything specifically related to Expression Engine and unfortunately I cannot say for sure it works with it but probably yet.
Let me know if you have any questions.

Hi,

As I am not able to see all charts in the preview. There are only 3 charts are displayed in preview dashboard. Charts are really mandatory for my business product.
Regards, Vijay Bhatia
Hello, thanks for the interest in our template.
Porto Admin comes with all these chart options: http://preview.oklerthemes.com/porto-admin/1.5.2/ui-elements-charts.html
Those charts can be integrated in any page of your project.
Let me know if you have any questions.

Jonas
Can I see the documentation before buying it? I would like to check if creating a PHP back end for this template would be a difficult task.
Hello, thanks for the interest in our template. You can see the DOCS in this link: http://preview.oklerthemes.com/porto-admin/docs/

Thank you so much for this incredible package! I am having a bit of a problem in the calendar view and was hoping you guys could assist?
I am using the calendar with the drag and drop panel and it works great in desktop view, however when in a mobile view the drag and drop panel floats behind the calendar.
It would be much appreciated if you could please fix this as it is a much needed feature in my web app.
Thank you, Gary
Hello, thanks for your purchase.
In fact I wasn’t able to reproduce that issue you mentioned.
Could you please send us a screenshot or at least say which resolution the device that you are using has?
If you have any questions, please open a ticket in our Support Center – http://okler.net/open-a-ticket/
Kind Regards,
Jonas
Yes of course – I get the same results on emulation and actual devices. I temporarily solved by adding a 50px bottom padding but this value will change if events expand the day cell.

Hello, the problem seems to be in the container of the calendar element, to fix that please add the following css lines:
(assets/stylesheets/theme-custom.css)
.fc .fc-day-grid-container {
height: auto !important;
}
Let me know if you need further assistance.
Kind Regards,
Jonas
Thanks for the help unfortunately this does not solve the calendar problem. Further I am noticing on your demo and my application that the bottom row of cells is cut off not allowing a drag and drop. example: Try dragging “Click for google” from the 28th or drop any event into the row of the 29th.
Hello, with the css fix that I sent earlier this is how I see the calendar in small resolutions:
See screenshot: http://www.okler.net/ss/20170319-79f-55kb.jpg
Before it was cutting the calendar bottom line.
Please let me know if the problem persists or if you are talking about another problem.

ISSUE RESOLVED

Is it easy to integrate the theme as Admin?
Hello, thanks for the interest in our template.
Porto Admin is a HTML template, the theme comes with HTML/CSS/JS files that allows you to integrate with your own system and create your own solution, with server-side scripting languages such as PHP, Ruby on Rails, dotNet, etc… (That integration is responsibility of the buyer). It works the same way for all template under the HTML category on ThemeForest.

Regarding the integration with the Front-End, here are the complete instructions: http://www.okler.net/forums/topic/how-to-integrate-porto-admin-extension-on-porto/

– can you please provide some more details?

Can you add RTL only to basic Porto Admin Framework (menu and panels) ? I need that please help me, or at least guide me to do that.
Hello, we have plans to add RTL support to Porto Admin, but unfortunately it’s not available at this moment. The first thing you need to do is to add Bootstrap RTL: https://github.com/morteza/bootstrap-rtl – then you need to start customizing the CSS.

Jonas
Hi, I have a question about tables-editable.html. if i have a only 3 column (Rendering engine,Browser,Actions) and i want a add button in Actions column… how to edit ?
Hi,
The file is: \assets\javascripts\tables\examples.datatables.editable.js
1) This is where you add/remove columns definitions:
2) To add more actions please check like 140 of that file.
If you have any questions, please open a ticket in our Support Center – http://okler.net/open-a-ticket/

Hello, thanks for the interest in Porto Admin.
1) Porto Front-End is a different template ( https://themeforest.net/item/porto-responsive-html5-template/4106987 ), and the files are not included on Porto Admin.
2) It comes with Ajax examples (JS) but the server-side code is not included. Please consider have a look at “Porto-Based” aspNet version: https://codecanyon.net/item/net-admin-starter-kit/17260689
3) Not available
4) Not available
5) Check aspNet version.
6) Please note that Porto Admin is pure HTML/CSS/JS to be integrated with any server language (server-side integration is not included). AspNet version has functional login system.
7) We have plans to add more layout versions, different navigation styles and AngularJS integration. You will be able to get all updates.
Yes, Porto Admin comes with documentation.
Let me know if you have any questions.
Kind Regards,
Jonas
Can we make all the different line charts “Live” to be updated via ajax? Are there instructions for this?
Hello, using Morris Chart you can make an ajax call and use the method setData, these links may help: http://stackoverflow.com/questions/32590643/how-to-add-dynamic-data-to-morris-bar-chart – http://roryokeeffe.com/simple-real-time-graphs-with-morris-js-and-jquery/
Unfortunately we don’t have a working sample of that at the moment on Porto Admin.

I have a question about <meter min=”0” max=”100” value=”35” id=”meterSales”></meter>
In index.html. I remove <script> (Flot: Sales Porto Drupal) and <script> (Flot: Sales Porto Wordpress) so graph meterSales has disappeared. i want a meterSales.
Hi, you must remove it from the JS too (examples.dashboard.js), remove from line 68 to 154 on that file.
