I’ve been using this template on a project at work but I hit problems in IE8. Jquery 2.0 doesn’t support IE8 so I had to swap it out for 1.10 & the revolution slider styles also needed fixed.
Other than that the template has been superb and very easy to work with.
You’re right, if you want to make your website IE8 compatible you need to use Jquery 1.10, I should have said that in the documentation. I’ll take a look to see if I find any bugs using IE8 again, if you find anything else, let me know. Thanks!
Hi please are planning on adding a skinned checkbox and a skinned combobox that can match the look of the theme . Thanks that would be appreciated.
Great suggestion, I’ll add it in an upcoming version. Thanks.
Thanks do you have an ETA for the upcoming version. If it will be in the next month or next week . i will buy this theme. Thanks
I think I’ll be releasing the next version within 2 weeks. Thanks!
I have looked through the documentation and on the help forum and I am not finding information on how to use the blog. Any suggestions on the best way to use the blog would be helpful. Thanks in advance.
Hello, at this moment the blog is not functional, it has just the HTML/CSS/JS necessary to use in a blog system, such as Wordpress. If you want a simple blog system, I recommend you to use this one: http://anchorcms.com/ – I’ll make a tutorial on how to create a blog in the future. Thank you!
That was a great answer to my question and I want to compliment you on the quality of the theme and the outstanding support you provide.
I can make the blog work as is for what I need it for by using the links, heading, posts, etc but comments are what I need some advice on. I can get rid of them, which I would prefer not to do, or just make them somehow work. That’s really what I should have asked is there a way to make the comments usable?
Hello, for the comments you can use a popular plugin called Disqus, it’s simple to use, please check this link: https://disqus.com
Great! One more vote for Wordpress!
I know I’ve said that before, but the Wordpress version will be released very soon, my partner is working on it and I believe we can count on it for september.
Hello, Porto Wordpress version is now available: http://themeforest.net/item/porto-multipurpose-responsive-wordpress-theme/5864981 – Thanks
Thanks for the great Contact Us form. Do you know how to stop the email field from being highlighted in red whilst user is typing? The address validation on blur is fine. Thanks!
Hello, this is actually a default behavior of the browser when you have an “input” with type=”email”, so in the css we have a pseudo-class for “invalid” inputs and it shows the red borders. If you don’t want that you must change from type=email to type=text, or you can edit the CSS and make it stop.
Great, thank you! I’ve set the email type=”text”
I would like to have a popup (magnific?) Contact Us form appear when a user clicks/taps the Contact Us link in the header nav. Do you know how to do this?
Hi, yes, the template uses Magnific Popup, we have an example of usage in the OnePage file, you just need to have a DIV with a ID and call it in the link, take a look at this: http://www.crivos.com/ss/20130816-78x-123kb.jpg – Does that make sense for you? Thank you!
Thank you, the Contact Us is now appearing in a magnific popup
Initially, the form was left aligned and the popup full width. I then set the popup to be a little wider than the form and to centre horizontally in the viewport. To do this I added width: 300px to .popup-inline-content. Is there a better way of doing this so that all popup content would centre horizontally and ‘auto’ width?
Hello, you can set a size for you popup container, using CSS then the Popup will auto adjust its size. You can learn more about it on the plugin documentations, check this out: http://dimsemenov.com/plugins/magnific-popup/ – Thanks!
Thank you. I’d looked at the examples and docs on the site before posting and just looked again but can’t yet see how the popup container can be made to be the width of the contents and be horizontally centred. Could you please give an example?
Thank you. The desired result is for the form to be centred both horizontally and vertically. For the viewport size in your example, the form would look like this: http://i.imgur.com/xXK8xXG.jpg Do you know how to do this? Thanks again!
Hello, the code I sent you will make the form centered in the viewport, if it’s not working for you, please open a ticket in our support forum (http://www.crivos.com/forums/) with a URL of your site so I can take a look to see what is going on. Thanks!
Thanks Crivos! Got it working now with the style width and height. Is it not possible for magnific to auto size the form (or whatever the content of the popup is) ? Noticed on the one page website demo, if the viewport width is reduced to 767px or less the ‘thumb-info lightbox’ popups don’t appear and also don’t appear if the viewport is made larger again. Is this a bug?
You can make the pupup based in the grid system, same way I did in the project detaill of the One Page so it will auto-resize.
This is the way it looks when you resize: http://www.crivos.com/ss/20130905-610-107kb.jpg http://www.crivos.com/ss/20130905-72m-80kb.jpgSo the grid system adjust the columns. If you want to make a smaller popup you could not use all the columns, using span9 for example.
Excellent template, any luck on WordPress Theme release?
I know I’ve said that before, but the Wordpress version will be released very soon, my partner is working on it and I believe we can count on it for september.

Nice theme. How to handle 12col. tab with price table(3col). Please view the link.
http://www.smartfeel.net/images/screenbmb.jpgHello, the better way to do that would be to use “row-fluid”, please check this: http://www.crivos.com/ss/20130815-315-174kb.jpg – And let me know if it doesn’t work for you. Thanks!
Excellent Template… Great Support… Thanx
LOL!! I am also a web designer and can design my own site, but I fell in love with this, so I’m using it for my site portfolio…
I’m such a bummer…
Crivos this is an excellent template and thanks for the fast response in the forum. I have to say that having support is great and should be a must, when buying templates.
I’ve been to two other sites before finding Themeforest.net and bought two other templates that actually didn’t work properly on different size screen, with no support, what a waste of time and money that was.
The first thing I did when I downloaded your template is checking it on a few different smart phones and big smile when I saw the site displayed properly. I’m glad I found you on Themeforest.net
I could use another template for my hosting site if you have one.
Thanks Crivos
Joe
Thank you very much for your kind words.
Hi,
Would a list with the location of the images be included in the documentation? I’m mainly interested about the images with the clouds and the boxes on the blackboard in the header.
Thank you.
Hello, this is the image you want: http://photodune.net/item/think-outside-the-box-drawn-in-chalk-on-a-blackboard/1254268
Thanks.
I am trying to turn the portfolio item into submit buttons for a form, but I keep messing up the CSS really bad. Are you able to help with that?
Hello, sure, I can help you, can you please email me or go to our forum and send me a link so I can see your website? – http://www.crivos.com/forums/forums/template-porto/
How does your template differ from the Porto for Drupal Version? Will the updates you have made in the HTML Version also be available in the 45$ Drupal Version?
Hello, Refaktor is my partner in the Drupal Version, he is working hard to add all the most recent updates in the Drupal Version too.
Hi! How do i change the selection color on the website. I have already changed the values in blue.css but the hyperlink and the text selection color is still blue. Thanks.
Hi, what browser are you using? Did you try to do that:
::selection {
color: #FFF;
background: red;
}
::-moz-selection {
color: #FFF;
background: red;
}
hello friend i have launched my website, please take a look “http://boisterousgaming.com/”........and thanks….....:)
and friend i want to hide .html extension in url, i’m using GoDaddy Windows hosting to host my website…..so please help me…...
Hi Crivos,
Have a random question. On the portfolio-4-columns.html page, when you select websites, logos or brands. Then click a project it takes you to portfolio-single-project.html
When I hit the BACK button I should go back to the last section I chose (websites, logos or brands) but instead it takes me back to SHOW ALL the available portfolio projects.
Is there a way to make it remember my javascript selection on the previous page?
PS>The more I work with your template, the more I love it!
Hello, that’s a good idea, sometimes I just don’t know how to improve the template with new features and that kind of feedback is great for us. I’ll add the “history” support for the filters in the next version, I was looking at the plugin documentation and I found that: http://isotope.metafizzy.co/docs/hash-history-jquery-bbq.html – So I’ll adapt it for Porto and it will be able soon. Thanks.
Fantastic Link, definitely adding to my favourites! Thx very much
Now I just have to work out how to change the code to suit your template ;p
Let me know how you go
Hi, I just sent you an email. Thanks.
Changing the javascript function worked, thx Crivos you saved me many hours of debugging
hello friend, how to use “Contact Us” from to receive suggestion , message from my customer to my email address…..i mean how to setup my email address for “Contact Us” from…......thanks…..
Hello, please check this post on our forum: http://www.crivos.com/forums/topic/important-contact-form-is-not-working/ – Thanks
new “one page website” slider is lovely…..but can you tell how to add more image on that slider…..
Hello, you just have to add something like this:
<div class="tp-caption lfl" data-x="65" data-y="10" data-speed="1000" data-start="800" data-easing="easeOutExpo"><img src="path-to-your-image.png" /></div>
Just use that and set the path to your image. Thanks.
sorry but i’m actually asking for more than one slider background image….
hello friend how do i re-size revolution slider….example: a bigger revolution slider with big images…..
by bigger revolution slider i mean full-screen slider…..like in slider revolution page…..
Hello, please download the latest version and check the file index-one-page.html, I think this is what you want. Thanks.
thank the new “one page website” slider is lovely…..but can you tell how to add more image on that slider…..
The background image is the first element of each slide, (in the LI), so if you want to change it, or add another slide, just add a new LI with the img you want, like this: http://www.crivos.com/ss/20130807-c16-57kb.jpg
Sorry if I misunderstood, is that what you want? Thanks.
i already done that process, but it didn’t work…..
What exactly happened? Can you send me a email with your website URL so I can see what is going on?
when i add those code with another image url for another image in slider (img src=”img/slides/slide-1.png” data-fullwidthcentering=”on” alt=”“) just nothing happening, i’m only able to see the first image on slider….and i’m going to launch my website tomorrow so then i will send you the link of my website…..and thanks for reply…...
You can have only one background for each slide, each LI on that case, all the other images must be inside of a DIV.
got it…...
Any ETA on the wordpress theme?
It will be launched this month by my partner, you will be the first to know, I promise.
