Hi. I’m wondering if the Drupal version of this theme (https://themeforest.net/item/stack-multi-purpose-drupal-8-theme-with-paragraph-builder/19787275?s_rank=7) is also done by you? Thinking about buying it but from what I can see it does not include the Variant builder.
Thanks Micke
Hi,
Stack for Drupal does not include Variant builder, but we’ve worked closely with our WordPress developer Tommusrhodus to ensure that the WP version does.
James
Thanks, I was wondering though, if the seller (symphonythemes) of the Stack Drupal theme is affiliated with you. It seems like a copy, not everything works in the demos. Demos for this Stack theme is flawless.
Hi,
No it is not a copy, it is a sanctioned version of our design ported to Drupal.
James
Is there a ‘read more’ for long text built into this?
That functionality is not included by default, but we can help you implement this quite easily when you open a ticket at http://mediumrare.ticksy.com
Thanks, James
Hello! Love your components. Is there a loader? Something to display while fetching content?
We do not include a loader (this is a good idea though!) because loaders are widely available and easy to implement.
Please open a ticket and we can assist you in adding some custom CSS to implement your loader.

Hi, Can we add the modified blocks into builder ?
Hi,
builder.html can be modified as it is just an HTML file, so you are welcome to do that, however we don’t provide support on doing that. If you have proficiency in HTML you will have no trouble.
James
Sorry but I couldnt find in the documents. How do I add a navigtion bar up on top with the builder?
I meant to say.. how do you always show the nav bar on top of page?
Sorry, but this is not possible to achieve within Variant, and you will need to apply a class outside Variant when you have exported your page to HTML.
Please open a ticket at http://mediumrare.ticksy.com and we can guide you on this.

Hi,
Is it possible to change the image on selecting a tab as per this webiste (https://tapdaq.com/) . In that webpage, if you just cross the cover page, you can see some selections on left and on right you can see an image. Its dynamic too.
Is it possible with stack? And also your support portal is asking for some envato code to submit the ticket. don’t know what it is!
Thanks,
Ayyappa
Sorry, I can’t see what you are describing on that page. Perhaps you could elaborate when you open a ticket. The code you need is the purchase code which you can find in the license document under the dropdown menu with your download on the downloads page.
I mean is it possible to have an element in elements similar to the one used in mediation section here – tapdaq.com
Hi there,
We don’t have a tab switching mechanism like this that responds to hover, no.
You could however, use the vertical tabs element to create a section similar to this – though it’d be ‘click to activate’ rather than ‘hover to activate’
Thanks,
Craig
Hello! How can I increase the max height of the footer logo? thank you in advance!
Hi there,
You can target this in your custom.css file like so:
footer .logo{ max-height: ##px; }
Cheers,
Craig
There is an issue with the height-100 class and Google’s Fetch and Render Webmaster tool. Basically, the Google browser looks at the entire height of the ‘Stack’ webpage and adjusts its height to match. Stack then uses the height-100 sections to match Google’s ‘matched’ height. This means that if you have a height-100 section as the first section on a page, it’s the only thing rendered. I’d imagine this could have considerable SEO implications. Give it a try with a long page and a height-100 section first, you’ll see what I mean.
Hi there,
The height-100 class simply gives the section a height of 100vh, this is a natural CSS unit that shouldn’t negatively affect any SEO efforts. You could also attach a min-height to the rule if you prefer like so:
.height-100{ min-height: 768px; }
Cheers,
Craig
Hi! The notification boxes are not shown correctly … they are missing the frame and the correct layout … what could cause this error and how can I fix it?
Hi there,
Thanks for purchasing Stack!
Please open a ticket at mediumrare.ticksy.com with a link to your site so we can check it out and advise further.
Thanks,
Craig
problem solved! thank you!
No worries, thanks again for purchasing Stack
I would like to use a step form wizard, which one do you recommend to integrate with stack?
Hi there,
Did you consider using the Wizard plugin like here? http://trystack.mediumra.re/elements-wizards.html
Cheers,
Craig
Would be great to have a hugo version of this theme! Is that on the roadmap? Is there any interest?
Hi there,
We haven’t had any requests for a Hugo version before. We’re not planning on this for now.
Thanks,
Craig
I’m having an issue with the dropdowns. I’ve tested this in the provided templates as well to rule out a personal issue.
In the main nav, when we use class=”dropdown dropdown—hover”, the page shows the hover as expected. However, when you are in mobile view the dropdown doesn’t work. I’m guessing because mobile doesn’t have hover. However, there should be some way to fall back on mobile click within the theme.
I’m running version 1.5.0
What do you suggest to do in this case?
Thank you!
Hi there,
This issue was solved in v 1.3.11
Did you try adding the class “dropdowns—hover” to the element?
Cheers,
Craig
Craig, It works if I do the dropdowns—hover on the body, but this applies it to ALL dropdowns on other pages (even those that we do NOT want to have the hover effect).
I see, thanks for reporting this – I’ll investigate the issue and organise a fix for an upcoming update
Hi! Great template! I have one problem with Google maps: “InvalidValueError: setZoom: not a number”. Do you have any suggestion?
Hi, this is a known bug in 1.5.0 and we have fixed the problem and it will be resolved in the next release. Until then, you can simply replace your scripts.js file with the one found here:
https://pastebin.com/TJZSmVb4Just copy and paste the entire contents over the existing contents of scripts.js.
James
Thanks!
No problem
Hi, what’s the difference between this version that costs $ 17 and version 1.1 that costs $ 39? https://themeforest.net/item/stack-multipurpose-wordpress-theme-with-variant-page-builder/19707359?s_rank=6
One is an HTML template ($17) and the other is a WordPress theme ($39). This HTML version cannot be installed into WordPress, however the $39 version can be.
Otherwise the features and provided blocks and styles are the same.
Also Variant works inside WordPress too!
James
thanks, all clear now!
No problem
Love your work! Unfortunately I’ve found a small bug. Any time I include any of the video model sections or elements on a page, it causes all sorts of weird problems for other elements (Accordians etc.). This seems to be happening on Safari IOS11 iPhone. Can you confirm?
Hi there,
Would you mind opening a ticket at mediumrare.ticksy.com with a link to your site so we can check it out live?
Thanks,
Craig
Windows 8.1, Internet Explorer 11
This template http://trystack.mediumra.re/home-drone-photography.html scroll jagged and not smooth.
Is there any solutions for this?
In this case we’d recommend disabling the parallax effect for that platform. Some platforms cannot perform at the level we need. Details in the reply to your ticket at ticksy.
James
hi medium_rare,
i like your work and i love stack but if i have a feature wish i was very happy to see some nice list elements and a compare page to compare a free and pro version of a app or somthing. that would be really nice if its possible for upcoming versions of stack.
thanks for your hard work its wonderfull!
Hi there,
Thanks for the great feedback!
Are you referring to something akin to a pricing options page, with two adjacent options to compare?
thanks for the replay. yes its ok but i think about a side by side compare list like a table for more features like the priceing boxes. but its only a wish from a very happy cutomer. maybe for a later stack version or a new template.
thank you!
No worries, thanks again for the clarification. Thrilled to hear that you love using Stack
Craig
I think I missed something: a soon as you finish the site you can export the html file, but what about all the images, css and so on? Where I can find them? Is it possibile to export the entire project in a directory with all the assets inside (css, js, images and so on)? Thank you
Hi there,
Thanks for purchasing Stack!
Once you’ve exported your HTML, you place the HTML file in the root directory of your site, so it can reach the CSS, IMG and JS folders.
Cheers,
Craig
I don’t understand, i build the site on the variant builder, I used images, etc., I don’t have any directory nor css, js or image file. I supposed to download also them from the builder … I’m lost
edit: maybe I need to use the directory inside the builder?
Hi there,
The directories I was referring to are the default root directory where the original theme HTML files reside. You’ll need to place your HTML files in that same location.
Cheers,
Craig
Ok, but is it possibile to have a button to download the entire pack as a zip with all the stuff inside? The entire site’s files (and just those that I need and no more) in a click. Just to save time instead of searche all the contents I’ve used around directories and collect them for the final upload. Thank you very much for your support.
Hi,
No, due to browser security restrictions we are unable to zip the images you used and package everything up for you.
You can create a copy of the template folder (a “workspace”) and delete the unused images and HTML files. Then all you need to do is copy your exported files from the downloads folder to your new workspace.
The JS and CSS files that your site is not using are not a problem, as they will only be downloaded by the user’s browser if the page requires it.
James
hum … what about to have a list of all the file used?
I’m not sure what you are requesting here, the solution is given in the previous answer. A list of items used is not possible to compile either, as you would likely have different files used in different pages.
James
Sorry for late answer, I was just thinking about a simple txt list of all sources used in the site with the path wehere to find them, but I understood the base of use, so for now thank you very much
No worries
Hi, is there any way to get HTML to convert to a .variant file? My computer reset so I have lost the browser-based saves. I still have all the original files but I can not find any .variant saves to upload and I had to install a fresh browser so I can’t access them anymore. I still have the HTML.
Sorry this has happened, but unfortunately this is currently not an option.
We advise to always keep a .variant backup after each upload, so you always have a usable file to edit the last published files.
James
I just renewed my support service but can’t submit support ticket in your own support system.
Hi,
I have now manually refreshed the support status of your account on Ticksy, could you please try again to open a ticket.
