Medium Rare
seems like the masonry and other items do not work in IE
Hi,
We are unable to replicate this report in IE 11 or 10 running on a Surface Pro. Which version of IE are you referring to?
Medium Rare
How do you increase the size of the logo image? It seems for the bigger size images it’s a fixed height/width, I’d like to increase that.
Hi, please read the article for this very common request
you’ll just need to add a line to your custom.css to override the default width and height…
James
Hello, one more pre-sale question. For someone with limited HTML skill, is it easy to update the template when you release a new updated version?
Hello,
In most cases, we update a few files and you can simply copy those files from the new download to your server. The files you need to upload are mentioned in the changelog with each release.

Hi, I am planning to purchase a HTML template for web design company. I will be using it for more end product. How should I buy a HTML multi purpose theme for that. required extend license for this? Or required any written permission from theme auther?
Hi there,
If the end-product that you build with Stack requires your customers to be charged to use it, then you require an extended license. But we must make clear that it is not acceptable to re-sell the template, if that was your intention.
Tanks, Craig
I want to have extended dropdowns when Hamburger-menu is clicked.
Is it possible to make Hamburger mobile menu to trigger so it shows extended dropdowns from the beginning?
So the mobile menu shows with “dropdown dropdown—active” from the beginning?
Commenting because the Support-system is down.
Also very nice HTML-template
Hi,
Do you mean that you want all of the inner menus to be “pre-extended” when the hamburger menu is clicked?
Ticksy is back up now so we can take up the conversation there if you like.
James
Hi,
I found something wrong with your page http://trystack.mediumra.re/page-utility-onboarding.html . Im using chrome
the timeline title is overlap with the menu.
Hi there,
Thanks for reporting – we’ll take a look into this and devise a solution in the update
Hi, the variant builder does not work…it keeps spinning!
I caused this myself with internal cookies settings I just found out. Sorry!!
No worries, glad you found the solution
Hi! I have strange javascript error on click to :
scripts.js:1845 Uncaught TypeError: Cannot read property ‘dispatchEvent’ of undefined at scripts.js:1845
In my custom js this click call standart procedure:
<script> $(‘body’).on(‘click’,”.meta-like”, function( e ){ e.preventDefault(); console.log(‘click’); return false; }); </script>
but and without this custom function ( with native scripts ) this error already enabled! How to fis this ussie? Thanks!
Hello, we’ve got a fix for this error coming in the next update. In the interim I can give you the fixed scripts.js file and you can use that.
Please open a ticket at http://mediumrare.ticksy.com and I’ll send you the fixed file
James
Sorry you may have missed the reply, but I have responded to the ticket at https://mediumrare.ticksy.com/ticket/1284523/ – you should be able to give the textarea the class scrollable to get it to scroll.
James
As for the error in your scripts, that was rectified in a subsequent update – please let me know if you are still experiencing this after updating your scripts.js file.

Hi, I would normally raise a support ticket via Ticksey but it appears to be down at the moment. I cant get modals to work within the Jquery Wizard you guys are using, is there a bug that prevents that from working?
Hi, I’ve now answered your ticket as Ticksy seems to be back up now. We’re not aware of any that would cause this bug, could you please provide a link to your live page so we can check it out.
Thanks
James
Hello, my menu is not working in Safari on iPhone. I can toggle it open and closed by clicking the hamburger icon but when I click the links nothing happens. http://beyondcommercial.com
Hello,
We are tending to your query now via email – also Ticksy is back up and running now.
Thanks, James
Hey I’m trying to change the font and color of the text in the nav bar without breaking the rest of the code lol. Could you point me in the direction.
Hi there,
Thanks for purchasing Stack!
You’d add a rule to custom.css that targets the navigation items like so:
nav .menu li a{ font-family: ’’; color: #####; }
Cheers, Craig
Hi again! Thanks for the operative updates of the theme! I found some ussies with modal window:
1. After open modal window with javascript click on link href=”#” inside modal, this modal window closes!
2. The textarea in modal window (opened with javascript) no scrolling and no scrollbar after insert long text
How to fix this bug? Thanks!
And more about appearance: Please add (it’ very simple!) ken burns background image for sections. I tried it: it turned out very nicely!
<section class=”image-bg section—ken-burns …” > and add to CSS
.section—ken-burns {overflow: hidden !important;} .section—ken-burns:not(.parallax) > .background-image-holder { animation: mtKenBurns 20s ease alternate infinite; -webkit-animation: mtKenBurns 20s ease alternate infinite; }
Thanks for the great suggestions! We’ll incorporate this in the next update
Also we will provide a fix for the modal link problem. Just open a ticket at http://mediumrare.ticksy.com (it is working now!) and we’ll discuss.
The fix will then be rolled into the next release on Friday.
James
Thanks! At current time http://mediumrare.ticksy.com reply “Major Updates Underway”
No worries, it’s back up now
Hi,
The support portal seems to be down.
Quick question: When using the form control input stepper is it possible to get the value of the input box as it increases/decreases? It doesn’t seem to update the source HTML/DOM despite the value visually changing in the actual input box.
Thanks!
Disregard/delete my comment. I was able to get the value!
No worries, apologies for the downtime on Ticksy, they were undergoing maintenance. Glad to hear you found the solution
Greetings Everyone,
Apologies for the downtime we are experiencing with our support system, Ticksy.
We are assured by Ticksy that the site should be up again some time in the next day or two.
In the interim, please send support requests to support [at ] mrare.co

Love the theme! Thought I’d point out one feature I’d love to see implemented:
On the Billing Details section of the page-account-settings.html it would be awesome to have an interface for editing and adding cards already there – wouldn’t be too hard for the customer customizing the template to add, but just one more nice thing to have
Thanks for the great work!
Hi,
Do you mean to add the ability to edit the cards in Variant? I’m not quite sure about the request.
Thanks, James
Hi James, Sorry, I probably wasn’t very clear. I just mean having the template interface for an end user to enter their credit card info that could be revealed by a slide down for example after clicking “Edit” or “Add New Method” (fields for Card #, Name, Expiry, CVV etc. and maybe an icon displaying the type of card i.e. Visa, Mastercard, etc.). Then the designer could build the logic behind it using Stripe.js for example.
That’s a good suggestion, thanks – I understand now. Can’t guarantee anything, but we’ll look at it
James
Thanks! 2 more things as I’ve been playing around with stack:
1. Another Suggestion: would be awesome to build out some more pages for the “Knowledge base” homepage (like a page for specific knowledge base entries)
2. Seems like an odd bug on http://trystack.mediumra.re/page-utility-onboarding.html where the width and height of the sections are set at 95% so everything is almost centered but not quite.
Hi,
Great “Knowledgebase Single” suggestion. We’ll add one to the next update.
Thanks for the bug report, we will have this fixed in the next release.
James
Hi, I’m getting 504 Gateway Time-out to http://mediumrare.ticksy.com/.. so i’ll ask here …
How can I have 3 columns inline on mobile screen?
If I follow your example, I appears that I can only have 1 row in mobile / xs screen
<div class="col-sm-4"> <div class="text-block"> <i class="icon color--dark icon-Fingerprint-2" /> <h4>Infinitely Customisable</h4> </div> <!--end feature--> </div>
Hi there, Thanks for purchasing Stack!
Add the class “col-xs-4” in place of “col-sm-4”
Thanks,
Craig
Hello, I have been using Wordpress theme purchased here (ThemeForest) and I’m looking to migrate into HTML using your template. I just tested out your Variant Page Builder. Brilliant!!! How simple, fun and very quick to knock out a page. I’m not a coder and was amazed at how quickly a web page can be built using the VPB.
My questions.
1. What kind of hosting provider do I need in order to use your HTML template?
2. Do I need to be a coder in order to use the template? Can I just use Variant Page Builder only to build the site?
3. Can I create a whole website offline and just upload after I finish building the site offline?
4. How do I redirect the link from Wordpress to HTML?
For example.
My Wordpress link http://www.domain.com/article-name New HTML link http://www.domain.com/blog/article-nameSorry for too many questions but I had enough of a slow Wordpress site and looking to simplify. I look forward to your reply. Thank you.
Hi there,
Thanks for considering Stack HTML!
1. You can use pretty much any hosting provider you prefer, we’d suggest ensuring a hosting provider that serves sites fast and has PHP support so you can use the mail form functionality should you need to.
2. You can use Variant only if you wish, but if there are more detailed customisations you want to make to the design, you’ll likely need to customise some CSS and perhaps add some additional HTML to your pages, it all depends on your requirements.
3. Yes
4. You’d need to manually manage the link names to ensure that they are pointing to your new domain.
Hope this helps
Cheers,
Craig
Why there is no gulp or grunt or webpack for building assets?
Hi, Every user’s experience is different and each has a varying requirement when it comes to publishing. Which processes would you suggest? Thanks for your feedback.
James
I’ve used gulp since I knew those tools, but recently I’ve started developing using Laravel, and they have their laravel-mix which is basicaly an overlay for webpack – which is really good and has really interesting features like bundling JS scripts into vendors for example, as a separate file.
As an addition, I would add auto-grow for textarea fields – many will look for this I suppose
We’ll consider what may be done with these tools. Perhaps a start could be compiling the Less to CSS? I think (and correct me if I’m wrong) compiling JS to a single file would result in a need to changing the layout of the template, as the references to the JS files in HTML would remain in the template, and for those using Gulp/Grunt it would require a special version of the HTML template?
Thanks for the suggestion about the textareas
James
Less to CSS would be nice for starters
For JS, yes, you would have to change the templates. Whenever I find some free time, I’ll make some simple Gulp building tasks.
Please let me know where I can reach you out to send it for review afterwards.
Hi,
Please open a ticket at http://mediumrare.ticksy.com and we can chat there.
Thanks for your input
James
Hi, i like to ask. For this “masonry-filter-holder” is there anyway we can turn into buttons (displaying all the categories) istead of having a drop down list. This will be useful if there are only 3-4 categories. Please advised. Thanks!
Hi there,
Thanks for purchasing Stack!
Are you referring to the way the filters are organised? You can choose to show them as a row if you prefer, and that’s done by adding the class ”.masonry-filters—horizontal” to the masonry-filter-holder. Explained here: http://trystack.mediumra.re/elements-masonry.html under the “Masonry Filters” heading. And also demonstrated in action on this page: http://trystack.mediumra.re/portfolio-one-2col.html
If you require more detailed support, please open a ticket at mediumrare.ticksy.com
Cheers, Craig
