If you mean the logo in Navbar, you can replace it with your own logo by editing your layout page from Layout > Navbar
How to change the location of the image to the left in cover blocks ?
Which cover? Some of them have a option to switch sides, but some don’t have.
I purchased this theme a while back, and I am happy with it.
Couple years later I am considering this same theme for my new project.
In the past, this theme was sold in combination with Elementor. In order for website to work, I am adding content with Elementor. Has this now changed and Gutenberg is being used? Or how does adding content work?

Hi I notice that on several pages of the saasx theme demo there is a modal. For example on the portfolio page here: http://thetheme.io/thesaas/block/portfolio.html However when I add a portfolio block in my page builder, the modal doesn’t work… it only goes to a page. What am I doing wrong? Thanks -Ian

Hi, thanks for your answer but here in your faqs “http://thetheme.io/thesaasx/support/faq/” I’m reading this about “thesaasx” version: ”...This theme is our focus from now on and we update the theme regularly to add more features, blocks, and pages…”. So, I wonder if the “thesaas” version will lack things that the “thesaasx” version has. I’d just like an answer to that before I buy. Thank you very much.

This text applies to the WordPress version, because its previous name was TheSaaS. Since version 2.x of this template, we call the HTML version TheSaaS and the WordPress version TheSaaSX.
Both are on top of a same UI kit. Even TheSaaS has a few blocks which is not implemented on TheSaaSX. So the HTML version is always the latest version of this UI kit.

Hi,
That is the default header for you blog archive page. To pick another header, please open Appearance > Customize > Layout > Header and pick another value for “Blog Archive Header”. You can create a new header or edit the current one from Layout > Header page.

You need to update the text in the footer layout. Just open Layout > Footer from your dashboard and edit the corresponding content.

We’re not storing forms anywhere. Our forms just sent the data to an email address without storing them anywhere.
Would you consider adding more options for the gallery block? I am looking to use a masonry type gallery. Or, is there a gallery plugin you recommend that works well with the theme?
Unfortunately, we’re not planning to add more features anymore.
Gutenberg has an official gallery block. You might use that one. I can’t recommend any galley plugin since I have not used any of them before.
I would like to customize the blocks that come with the theme. I have tried to do this thru the plugin editor and modify the render.php file for the specific block. When I make changes to the html it doesn’t show up on the page. How should I be doing that?
It should be working for the website pages, but not for the page builder (a.k.a Gutenberg) which is expected behaviour. To reflect the change on the editor, you need to make that change in Javascript files which is complicated and requires build system and transpilation of code which we don’t support for that.
Hi, I’m a little confused, is yoast worth using with this theme? Currently it’s conflicting with the gutenberg editor, which isn’t a big problem. But I was also reading that analysis won’t work, has that changed at all? Should I use yoast at all, will it help with the final SEO score through google?

Is there a way to set different menus/navbars depending on what page and/or category you are on?
You can set page level navbars. While on page editor, click on “Document” tab in the settings panel and find “Layout” section. You can set navbar and footer from here.
OK but for some reason I can’t seem to change the “menu” items for each navbar. Is there a reason why I can’t have different menu items for different navbars? (for example (“Blog” “Courses” “Software”) on one navbar and (“Marketing Suite” “Back To Home”) on another, so multiple menus. Because it seems with the menus i can only set it to one navbar. Is this my mistake? thanks so much.
I see what you mean. Unfortunately, we’re using the traditional way of displaying menu in WordPress where you create a menu in Appearance > Menu and assign it to one of the menu locations.
To change this behavior, we need to take a deeper look and see how much work it require to provide ability for picking a menu from Navbar block and make sure we’re not affecting current users. I’ll add it to our todo list.

Contact form 3 has bug, google recaptcha is not working and message can’t be sent at all. After a few months i just reliazed that this is not working. I had to removed google recaptcha keys and now i am getting a ton of spam.
Do you have it online so we can try the form? I can’t see the issue in our demo.Google recaptcha addition and validation is similar in all contact forms.

We usually wait for a few bug reports to release an update. Since the last update, this one is the only task we have in our todo list right now. So the next update might be in 2-4 weeks.
Hi – I’m also trying to make the background of a customer block/group an image and not just a simple color, but am unable to find the settings to do that (like you can on a pre-configured block). Can you let me know how to make that an image and not just a color?

Sorry – meant to say “custom” block/group. I’m creating a group that has a spacer, columns with a header, paragraph and hubspot embedded form, then another spacer. I’d like that whole group to have an image as a background instead of just a color (which is the only option i’m seeing right now).
Groups are official blocks from WordPress team. We can’t help with that since the core team at WordPress should add this feature to their block.
Ok, makes sense. Last question on this then – what I’m trying to do is include an email form in the main cover of our website – I want it to look just like it does now (https://eventador.io) but instead of the two button CTAs, I need there to be an email form. B/c I’ve figured out how to link the native forms in the theme to our CRM system, I can use one of your other blocks to do so, but I need that header to be an H1, which has been a problem. Is there a way to make the heading in something like CTA Block 6 a H1, so I can maintain the SEO?
As a quick update (since we wanted to roll this out ASAP), I figured out a workaround, but for future reference (and to help get rid of the white space in between), would like to know if there’s a way to change the h tags in the theme blocks. Thanks!
You can’t change element tags from the page builder, but you can change them by editing the theme. Please read “How to customize a block?” on http://thetheme.io/thesaasx/support/faq/
Hi – I’m having an issue where if I create a new block (in my case, block with columns) at the bottom of my page that’s not a pre-set block from the theme, there’s a white space between the block and the footer that I can’t get rid of. For example, I’ve created a block that’s columns that has a heading and a hubspot from, and that whole block is green, which should flow directly into our gray footer, but instead, there’s a strip of white between the two. In the editor, I can see and empty block there, but I’m unable to delete it. How do I remove that white space?

If you share a link to the problem I can provide a better insight, but I guess the problem comes from empty block. Usually, Gutenberg has an empty block at the end of each page. That empty block then append an empty paragraph to your page which takes some space. You should be able to remove the block by pressing delete button while focusing on it.
It’s the block just above the header at https://eventador.io. I’ve made the block white so the extra space isn’t as noticeable, but it’s there. I’ve tried deleting the empty paragraph multiple times, and went into the code and tried deleting it in the code, but everytime I save – it’s back. Could it be a browser issue? I’m using the editor in Chrome.
Actually – just tried Safari – not a browser issue. It just won’t let me delete that empty paragraph.
Sorry – just saw I put it was the last block before the header – meant footer. Bottom block on the page just above the footer.
Did you fix the issue? I can’t see any whitespace above your footer. It looks fine.
Sorry – should have followed up here. I was able to determine how to make the theme’s native forms talk to our CRM system, so I swapped out the block. I still have the problem, but have mitigated it on that page.
How is it possible to change the <head> section? I am trying to install google optimize anti-flicker and I need to add it to the <head> section.
Checking the header.php file in Appearance->Theme Editor it directs to get_template_part( ‘include/view/global/head’ );
What is the right way to go about changing <head> in the theme?
If you’re comfortable editing PHP files, yes, you found the file. But the easiest solution might be using a plugin like https://en-ca.wordpress.org/plugins/header-and-footer-scripts/
I am ok with both. I just want to pick the most secure and fail-proof method 
so shall I edit the include/view/global/head (btw, what is the exact file and where do I find it in the WP file tree exactly?) or, should I use the plugin?
Just tried the plugin, it doesn’t put the tags in the location I want them in the header. Which exact PHP file should I be changing and where do I find it in the WP folder tree?
The file location is at ”/include/view/global/head.php” inside the theme directory.
