Hello, alright, yes, there is a bug on React Version, after setting PUBLIC_URL on .env.production, building it and deploying it, if you set PUBLIC_URL=https://mydomain.com, if you go to your site it redirects to https://mydomain.com/https://mydomain.com/auth, or https://mydomain.com/https://mydomain.com/dashboard, its annoying, another thing is that Setting PUBLIC_URL on the .env.development file and printing process.env.PUBLIC_URL, on development (npm run start) prints empty, Im sure im setting the environement variables correctly.

Yes it will work with php 8.1 version by doing the following changes. “php”: “^7.3 || ^8.0”, to “php”: ”>=7.3”, in the composer.json file.

Sorry but we have not provided any backend related functionality in the Django or other frameworks. You can create API in Django with React js there will be no any issues. Let us know if you have any questions.

Thanks for your response. I mean, if it’s easy to use React version of your theme on template level of django version of your theme. So that UI would be reach as it should be but served from django statics and reloaded on builds (gulp or whatever is there)

Yes to use React version is easy but you cant use the Django version as we didnt provide any backend related functionality in the Django version. You can customize the Django separately. We have provided gulp in the Django version to compile the assets files but if you want to use Django as a backend with API only then Django version will be not useful for you. You can create new Django project create APIs instead of using the this template’s Django version. Hope it will be more clear for you.

Please check the gulp file:
Inside the task “copy:libs” you find this line: path.dirname = path.dirname.replace(/\/static/, ’’).replace(/\\dist/, ’’);
This will remove the “dist” folder for libs. This does not work with linux.
I added replace(/\/dist/, ’’) to also match linux path style.
Full line: path.dirname = path.dirname.replace(/\/static/, ’’).replace(/\\dist/, ’’).replace(/\/dist/, ’’);
