I really liked the design of the theme but the way it is implemented seems to be very inflexible and difficult to use unless you want a carbon copy of the demo site.
I incorrectly assumed that as it was based on Angular Material that it would be structured in a similar way and I would be able to drop in components of the theme into my project in the same way I would when working with Angular Material. Unfortunately, not the case.
For example, if you add the Toolbar component, you don't just get a Toolbar. You get a Toolbar, several different drop down menus, a "mega menu", etc. They are all pre-populated with menu items as well. There is no obvious way to customise anything and to remove the things I don't want seems to require making copies of all the components and removing everything that I don't need.
The author claimed, "well documented", but the documentation only covers the basic setup of the theme. None of the included components contain any documentation whatsoever.

Our template follows the same principle as all other templates on this platform. We provide a pre-built application that consumes a UI Framework (in this case Angular Material) and uses it to it's full extend. This is not a component library by itself and there is no other template here that is a full component library. Vex has the same structure as all other templates on ThemeForest and provides common UI components, configurations, examples of Advanced Applications and everything you need to build your own application. This is not a component library by itself, but it is everything that's needed on top of any component library, we help you build your own application based on our pre-built pages, components and more. We even followed a more generic approach than most Angular-based templates out there: We allow you to easily swap out any layout parts with your own components. It is a great source of learning and more like a "Starter" for your next project.

I've tried several Admin Templates on Themeforest and this is by far the best one I found. Easy to use, amazing design, and best of all: the best support from the developer. I highly recommend it!!!

A primo impatto abbastanza confusionario, solo lavorandoci e prendendoci la mano si riescono a ottenere dei progetti veramente carini in pochissimo tempo. Design intuitivo e moderno. Ho riscontrato un solo problema: la pagina del calendario rimane fissata e non si riesce a visualizzare bene

I've never given a bad review on themeforest, but I think this one, in its current state, deserves it. It looks awesome, but its performance doesn't match the look, sadly.

It's have reaaly good designed code base and very rich by components. Visual elements are perfect. An excellent start of Angular. Go visurel!

The best angular template out there!
Very fast and detailed reply from the author Martin to a question I had. Template is well written, e.g. the template code is nicely isolated from your code to increase readability. Very complete and with clean code.
Excellent Angular8 theme and well coded.
24 bucks is a steal for this much content and quality of desing, really loving it !!
