Is it possible to have the chat feature also be a circle popup on the application. Then users can click on this and access a single chat while they are on another page of the application. it is useful for chatbots

Thanks for getting in touch. First of all please be informed that our current Next.js version is based on pages routing structure and it will render on client side only.
We are currently working on App routing which will take at least 2-3 months. You can define ‘use client’ on the pages which you would like to render on client side, everything else will render on the server.
In case you are interested in App directory routing, I would suggest you to wait for the update as it will be a complete re-write of the current code.

Let me clarify my objective a little bit to see if you can point me towards the best template.
I have a .NET Core Web API application with several APIs that will be used by the front-end. But I would like some of the pages (or part of them) to be rendered on the server to improve SEO. So my questions are:
1) Is it possible for me to use that new Next.js template with app directory routing to render the pages and consuming the APIs of my application or does that make no sense?
2) Does the rendering need to be in node.js or could it be done by integrating with the .NET Core application?

Thanks for your reply. You can use Next.js with app directory and keep your APIs in .Net core or you have the freedom to build those APIs in Next.js as well. We would recommend node.js for rendering. We are not sure about .NET core integration with Next.js as we haven’t tried it.

Unfortunately, we have encountered some unexpected challenges in developing the new version with app directory routing. We are doing our best to overcome them and provide you with a stable and reliable template. However, this means that we will not be able to meet the original deadline of 2-3 months. We estimate that the new version will be ready by December 2023. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause you.
If you decide to buy the current version (pages directory routing), you will still be able to download the new version when it is available at no extra cost. You will have lifetime access to all the updates and features that we offer.

I understood the situation. Regarding the changes to the new template for the version with app routing, will only the routing structure change or will there be significant changes to the React coding (states, listings, objects, etc.) of the components?
I ask this to evaluate whether I could go ahead and customize some components (list of users with connection to the real API, etc.) and then migrate this coding to the template that will be using the new routing.
I would suggest to wait for the update as the whole template is re-written along with all the components and pages. It will be a lot of re-work in this case from your end if you plan to migrate.

Will there be significant changes to the design and Figma files? If there are no significant changes, I’m thinking about buying the template and starting to edit the Figma, so that when you launch the new version with app directory routing I can have the prototyped screens.

Yes, It’s going to be next month. I would like to highlight that this template has been entirely rewritten from scratch, not retaining a single line of code from the previous codebase. This significant overhaul was undertaken to incorporate Server-Side Rendering (SSR) support, a feature unique to our admin template and not commonly found in the market. Achieving this milestone in a relatively short timeframe has been a challenging but rewarding journey.
Our sincere apologies for the delay. We have almost finished with the development and will complete the testing, bug fixing and docs next month.

I have another couple of doubts The template only needs the front part, since my backend is in django. Already have typescript integrated? Does it have vuex integrated? Q: Already have typescript integrated?
A: Yes, we do provide typescript support in our vuejs version but only in vue 3 version.
Q: Does it have vuex integrated? Or what state manager does it have?
A: No, as the official recommendation changed (https://v3-migration.vuejs.org/recommendations.html), we now use pinia instead of vuex in vue 3. For vue 2 we were using vuex.
Q: how does the license work?
A: You can read the official docs on licensing on themeforest official site: https://themeforest.net/licenses/standard. Still, if you have any confusion feel free to let us know.
Q: can I have the template in version 2 of vue, with ts? If so, if I buy it directly from here, how can I access the template in its version 2?
A: No, we don’t have TS version for Vue 2. Vue 2 version is deprecated and we don’t provide any feature updates in it. We still have its separate branch in our github repo for those who can’t upgrade to vue 3 version. Hence, in special cases if you still want to checkout the vue 2 version of our template after purchase you can check it in separate branch of our github repo.
Q: can I customize the source code of the components?
A: Yes, of course. However do note that if you want to customize the vuetify (https://vuetifyjs.com/en/) component then you have to make a PR as that is framework we use and we don’t own that code. Additionally, for easy upgrades (https://demos.pixinvent.com/vuexy-vuejs-admin-template/documentation/articles/how-to-update-template-to-latest-version.html) we also recommend not updating `@core` & `@layout` directories but if you want to make changes you are free to do it.

Since this is a template and a starter project, it’s built as the starting point of your project. It cannot be simply installed and used with an existing project like a third party library.
Although using our template with any existing project is still possible, it would require extra effort to connect everything together. We strongly recommend you to either start your project with Vuexy, or move your project on top of it to have the best experience.

Just a heads up.
When downloading the project, in the Vue 3 Typescript version, if you install and build it the way it comes, it’ll compile build correctly (about 12 seconds). But if you just change the Vue dependency to any above 3.3.0 it’ll hang forever. No Vue version above 3.3.0 works.
Changing only"vue": "3.2.47",
to
"vue": "3.3.4",
is enough to trigger this behaviour. No other changes needed. Below is the terminal output. Vite finishes transforming all the modules and then it just hangs forever, hogging a whole core to 100% indefinitely.

This was observed in my machine with Intel® Core™ i5-10300H, 16GB RAM and Pop!_OS 22.04 LTS. But to assure it was not only a local problem I tried to build it in AWS Amplify without success too, where it returned a “Build time out” after 30 minutes.

I have a stress with the DateTimePicker component of vuexy. When it’s used inside a VDialog (Modal) as soon as you select a date, the Modal closes. I’ve tried a few approaches to prevent it from closing, but it doesn’t work.
