Hi, I bought the “Shoot” some time ago. Now I have this problem in WP because it’s asking for WPBakery Page Builder update. I can’t update by myself because I have to buy a license to the new version and I don’t know if it will work with it…do you planned to publish and updated version of the “Shoot” theme during the year? Do you have any recommendation on this?

HI, I’ve purchased this theme but the visual composer not work and if i put “on” th debug mode on the wordpress i see two errors on the screen:

1.- __construct() onsolet method in function.php

2.- “warning: getimagesize(): http:// wrapper is disabled in the server configuration by allow_url_fopen=0 in /wp-content/themes/wp_shoot/vc_templates/vc_row.php on line 52 Warning: getimagesize(/wp-content/uploads/2014/11/sample71.png?id=10166)): failed to open stream: no suitable wrapper could be found in /wp-content/themes/wp_shoot/vc_templates/vc_row.php on line 52 “

The most important thing is why the visual composer don’t work.

When do you plan to actually update this theme? This theme has NEVER been updated since it’s initial release!!! There are a lot of plugins that have been updated and I cannot implement them without the core theme being updated…

Pretty much finished my site with the theme – it’s great.

Just one question on the social share buttons:

The facecbook sharing feature for posts does not work properly. This is very important since this is going to be the primary distribution channel for my posts. Right now when I go on a post and click on the share button for Facebook, the share feature automatically retrieves my portrait picture from the upper left corner together with some quite incoherent text from the article including tags and dates. Instead, the share feature should automatically retrieve only the cover picture for that particular post, the title of the post, and the first couple of lines of text of the post, and nothing else. Otherwise it will not be possible for people to easily share my posts. I am pretty sure that this feature can be customized somewhere with the facebook developers tools on developers.facebook.com, but I don’t know how. The sharing feature for Twitter is also not working correctly, as it gratuitously adds a “Check out this article” to the title of the article when you press the share button.

I’m really surprised at the lack of customer support. I’ve emailed twice about bugs I’ve found and have received no feedback or help. When I emailed you only addressed one of the 3 questions.

I asked this before, but got a response that wasn’t about my question.

I imported an existing blog’s entries into this template. When I view single posts, I see only the image that was previously set as the featured image in the previous template. None of the text from the post is shown at all. Why is this happening? I have verified that the text exists in the editor, but it continues to show incorrectly.
