i want to use it in another language and not english, imena first language of the theme de_DE … this mean that i must buy more plugins for this theme? or there is a way to define another language?

well i import the xml from the dummy file so i can have the demo to see how i will walk with this… and is not happenig “Failed to import …..” there is some samples in menu … i will take look at it… and say what happend… i did try again and there is some examples

There’s no .XML files in new version of theme. Most probably you were installing demo content from old version of theme.
We have a dedicated “1-click demo install” plugin in The7.2. Here’s an article on using it http://support.dream-theme.com/knowledgebase/using-dt-dummy-plugin/
sorry but i can not find this plugin in my files (the download files)... “dt-dummy-plugin or Dt-Dummy”... i dont think that this file is incluted in download
what do you mean version 7.2? the version in download folder (the last one is: dt-armada_v.1.1.2)
I believe you made a mistake… this is not the 7theme this is Armada… and there is in file a demo is the XML file only (armada.wordpress.2014-10-25.xml) and is not working properly…
Oh, sorry mate! I thought this is question to The7 theme. (Comments to different themes are mixed in authors dashboard). Indeed there’s no DT Dummy plugin for Armada (yet).

First of all, according to GTMetrix it’s 82 http://gtmetrix.com/reports/armada.dream-demo.com/eWqnm2jq
Second, because it’s a theme demo where we have all compatible plugins and other stuff active. Real world sites will have much better performance.

I understand your point about it is fully packed with plugins and stuff. It isn’t clear for me, how you reach the values 96 (Page Speed) and 92 (YSlow). For me they’re more a “marketing”- value .
However I think I’ll try out the theme and hope it will fit my needs…

In the Armada theme, one can have cool photo album slideshows — with photo-scroller and showing photo title and description. But below a screen width of about 680 px, the photo-scroller and text disappears. How does one keep this on screen until a screen width of much less than 680 (approx) pixels? Thanks d

Nice theme but comes with a big problem when it comes to demo content installation.
php execution time limit at 120 seconds: 504 Timeout
php execution time limit at 120 minutes: 500 Internal Server Error
Both given 1024M of RAM to execute but after downloading the media files and creating categories for the content and menus it crashes.
Created a new user for the import:
500 Internal Server Error (with media import)
Hundreds of errors with Media “Color emotions” already exists. (even when all media deleted before) and lots of Failed to import Media “armada280” come up at the import without media.
Not in the guide but to prevent errors at the import: Install WooCommerce before import!

Hello, I really like your template because the galleries resemble the closest to the service provided by pixiesetdotcom/example/. Although, I wish your template to be more like it. The heading options remind me of 500pxdotcom which is really great. Please, keep focusing on the photo galleries.
I will buy it when I can confirm the following:
1. Can work with the latest version of WP. 2. A screen shot with the result of the google mobile-friendly test since you block it. I tested the site on my iPhone 6+, but I would like to know what Google thinks of it. 3. Are you using the latest version of the Revolution slider? I don’t want my server to be hacked. 4. On my iPhone 6+, the one-page-website demo shows the logo on the left, and the touch menu on the right. Are there options to change the position or hide it? 5. Since it appears that this template receives frequent updates, I am thinking of creating a child theme for the live version. Is this OK? What is your recommendation?

I updated to WP 4.2 on Friday 24th April. As I know you I did not expect it not working.
Interesting is, that first all worked normal, but yesterday evening the Theme Options in the backend broke. Color pickers and scroll bars for transparency pickers lost.
While this happened I just worked normal on developing the site, no new plugin installed, no acrobatic custom CSS… http://by-blickwinkel.de/ Background opacity was at 20%, also side header had opacity setting.
What about the annoucement of https://blog.sucuri.net/2015/04/security-advisory-xss-vulnerability-affecting-multiple-wordpress-plugins.html might this be a reason??

The seem almost identical in layout in features. Appart from missing layouts in Armada they look the same.

Generally speaking, Armada is more lightweight, purpose build (photography) version of The7.
In the same time, The7 has more design options, more features (even related to showcasing photography stuff), better plugins compatibility and, being a multi-purpose theme with huge user-base, receives update much more frequently. It’s heavier, though.

Hello,
Demo content does not include widget area (it is technically not possible for WordPress .xml exporter/importer). Also note that you need to skip images import – they are copyrighted and can be used only if you purchase proper licenses for them.

That will be not possible I’m afraid.
However If you fill up 2 default widget areas (sidebar and footer) your instance of Armada will be almost identical to demo.
Managing widget areas is very easy stuff to do compared to creating page content layout from a scratch.

There is a problem that thumbnail pictures on right are not in a proper size, because they are cut, im missing a part of image in a thumbnail. I hope you understand me Pictures in album are in proper size and I want the same proper size in a portfolio.
