This an awesome template! Just had a question. How do I open a particular page that I have saved. I have saved many versions of the pages like 1_1, 1_2, etc. It show the list but how do I open it?
Hi, You simply need to click the page in the list and it will be loaded into the main display for you to edit. Is that working for you? James

One more question… when I click export it download a zip file with all the version of HTML we have saved as zipped in the download folder.. when we unzip.. there are only the HTML files but folder for css, images etc.. so how do we go about it?
Hey there,
You just need to place the HTML files into the template directory (the one where all the default html files were) so they can access the CSS / JS / IMG folders.

2. When I have build a complete page – do I just upload all the files into ftp and the webpage automatically can show the page as it would a normal index page?

1. You’ll need to edit these in Variant by right-clicking on them and clicking ‘change placeholder’ for inputs and ‘change value’ for the green submit button.
2. Yes, just upload all files (except the variant folder) via FTP and the site will show the index.html page as default

No, one single licence allows you to use the product on one domain regardless of who owns the domain. You’d need to purchase a new licence for each domain you use it on – this also includes subdomains.

Yes that is right. If your business AAA supplies landing pages to other businesses under www.AAA.com/company1 , www.AAA.com/company2 and you stand to make money from that, then you would need to buy a single license for each customer/subscriber because each landing page or set of pages is considered a single end product. Same goes for company1.AAA.com and company2.AAA.com. Essentially, if you plan to make a business and profit from providing pages to other businesses by making this design available as an end product to any number of end users, single licenses are required. If you simply plan to advertise your own business on your own site, you can make and host as many pages as you need on a single license because your own site is considered a single end product. If you plan to build landing pages as a web design business for individual clients/businesses and charge for your time and expertise to create websites as they come up on a case by case basis, then a single license is required for each website, and you can charge the client whatever you need to. This is because each client site you make is considered a single end product.
Reselling the product in full or in part is not allowed or covered under the extended license either. The extended license for HTML templates covers commercial usage – where the themeforest item is used to provide the face of a website that charges users to visit or use a service such as a ticket agency that makes money out of ticket sales or educational online course provider that charges for access to course material. In this case, the service being provided cannot simply be providing online copies of the template as hosted landing pages for customers because this constitutes reselling the template under another marketplace, which is not allowed.

Your page builder is awesome and there is no words to say but it have some drawback (i.e) it doesn’t have to host the site directly to FTP account .
But this (Allec – Bootstrap/LESS Template with Site Builder) scripts have that function.
So make this function on next updation at variant builder, i suggest you, and also i need this function to buy your products.

Hello, using the basic forms as you see them in the demo is easy, just click the envelope icon on any section that has a Mail Chimp form and you will be given a box to paste in the “embedded form” code from Mail Chimp. To get that code, make a “List” in Mail Chimp and then find the “Signup Forms” page and choose “Embedded Form” – the code appears in a text-box on the right for you to copy and paste into Variant.
If you want to use more fields, it becomes more complicated and will require some extra script for it to work.
I am testing your page builder demo, but I don’t see any way of adding a menu like in the Fitness demo on top. I.e. where logo is and page names etc.

Where is ‘Navigation Type’ ? I cannot see it on your demo.
In the elements tab of the sidebar (the one with the three layers) there is a little compass icon beside it, with an arrow on the right
Found it! .. I had the header part still open where you choose the different headers, so the Navigation part was not visible until I closed that using the cross button.

I am using a Mac and the scrolling is not as reactive compared to other websites (using both Safari and Chrome). Is this because of the smoothscroll.js file?
If I remove this file, will the scrolling be normal and reactive again?

For example, if you go to Stocksy.com and scroll through image you can see how responsive the scrolling is – now do the same on one of the demos for Launchkit and you will feel and see the difference.

I just checked the scrolling on your other theme, Pivot, and there the scrolling is much better.
What is the difference in terms of scrolling between Pivot and Launchkit?

There is a slight difference because we have written a scroll handler to manage parallax and to standardise scrolling across all browsers, which improves visuals on Windows, but you can remove this by not including parallax.js. The drawback will be that you cannot use parallax effect on pages that do not include parallax.js. Up to you
Interesting ... I do not want to use parallax anyway, so I will give this a try once I’ve bought this theme – fingers crossed it will work.

You could easily replace the text on the left with images in the output HTML. Just remove the heading and paragraph tags in the ‘col-sm-6’ div and replace them with image tags.
